TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of these conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions. Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid.

2. Entry is open to all Australian residents. Employees of Network Ten and their immediate families and agencies associated with this competition are ineligible to enter.

3. The competition commences on Friday 15th August 2014 at 10:00 am (AEST) and closes Monday 8th September 2014 at 09:00 (AEST). (Promotion Period)

4. To enter, entrants must:
a) Go to tenplay.com.au/thelivingroom during the Promotion Period;
b) Follow the instructions to create and submit their own ‘Virtual Room’ using a minimum of 5 (five) Freedom images from the images available on tenplay.com.au/thelivingroom.
c) Complete the online entry form registering their details including (but not limited to) first name, last name, date of birth, gender, email address, full postal address and contact number and
d) Agree to the terms and conditions.

5. Entries must be received by the Promoter during the Promotion Period. Entries received after the Promotion Period will not be accepted.

6. A limit of two (2) entries per day is permitted.

7. This competition is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. All entries will be judged by The Promoter individually on their merit based on creativity and originality. The best entry, as determined by the judges, will receive the Major prize. The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the competition result.


8. Judging will commence on Monday, 8th September 2014 at 10:00 AM (Judging Date)9. The Major winner will receive:
– 1 x $15,000 Freedom Gift Card
– 1 x MyFreedom membership valued at $99
– 1 x Freedom Interior Decorator Service valued at $150
Total RRP value of prize is: $15,249

10. Prize includes delivery of the Gift Voucher and MyFreedom Card to the winner’s address however excludes the delivery of any products purchased with the Gift Voucher, however can be covered using the gift voucher.

11. The Freedom Interior Decorator Service offered as a home visit will be subject to the location of the winning entrant and their nearest Freedom store. Freedom has the right to provide the Interior Decorator service as a telephone service at their absolute discretion.

12. The Gift Card is not redeemable at Freedom Kitchens.

13. If the winner does not claim the prize within 4 weeks of the Judging Date, the Promoter, at their discretion, may assign the prize to the entry judged the next best entry in the competition.

14. Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash. The prize will be delivered to the address of the winner specified in their entry. Prize will only be delivered to the entrant only and no alternative delivery name or address will be accepted. It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure their entry details are up to date by contacting the Promoter before the closing date of the Promotion. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications.

15. The prize must be redeemed within 12 months of the competition closing date.

16. 17. Entries will be deemed void if forged, manipulated or tampered with in any way.

18. In the event that any prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value, subject to State Regulation.

19. The winner will be notified by telephone and email within 5 days of the Judging Date.

20. If the winner of the prize is under 18 years of age, the prize will be awarded to winner’s parent or legal guardian. The winner and their parent/legal guardian may be required to sign a release form to enact the transfer.

21. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (even if caused by negligence) as a result of accepting and/or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

22. The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address of winners and any other information relevant to entry into or participation in this promotion. Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who is involved in any way in interfering or tampering with the conduct of this promotion.

23. By submitting an entry, entrants agree to their entry being made available for public viewing on any channels including, but not limited to, Freedom and The Living Room social channels and websites. The Promoter reserves the right to vet all entries prior to them being displayed on the website and reserves the right to remove any submissions at any time in its absolute discretion. However, the Promoter is not responsible for any entries submitted to the website and visitors to the site view it at their own risk. Any entry may be shared via social channels.

24. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry or for inaccurate information or for any loss, damage or injury as a result of technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches. If such problems arise, then the Promoter may modify the competition.

25. Entrants confirm and promise that their entry is original and does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party. To the extent permitted by law, entrants unconditionally and irrevocably consent to any act or omission by the promoter that would otherwise infringe any moral rights in their entry.

26. By participating, entrants agree that ownership of and intellectual property in their entry is assigned to the Promoter. The entrant, or where an entrant is under the age of 18, the entrant’s parent or guardian, agrees to sign any further documentation required by the Promoter to effect this assignment.

27. Entries remain the property of the Promoter. Details from entries will be collected and used for the purposes of conducting this competition (which may include disclosure to third parties for the purpose of processing and conducting the competition) and for promotional purposes surrounding this competition by Freedom and Network Ten. By entering this competition entrants consent to the use of their information as described and agree that the Promoter or their nominated third party may use this information, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any media for future promotional purposes without any further reference or payment to the entrant. Entrants may access, change and/or update their personal information and obtain a copy of the Promoter’s privacy policy by contacting the Promoter during office hours. Use of the images created in the ‘Virtual Room’ may be used for further promotional use by Freedom or Network Ten or their nominated third party without restriction.
