Terms & Conditions

Information on how to enter and the Prize forms part of these terms and conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions. Entrants must comply with these conditions to be valid.
The Promoter is Reckitt Benckiser (ABN 17 003 274 655) of 44 Wharf Road, West Ryde, 2114 NSW Australia. (PH: 1800 022 046).
This Competition opens on Monday 3rd February 2014 at 9:00am (AEST) and concludes on Monday 31st March 2014 at 23:59 (AEST) (“Competition Period”).
This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in the determination of the winner.

Eligibility to Enter

Entry is open to residents of Australia over the age of 18 years, or to residents of Australia under 18 years who have obtained their parents or guardians consent hold a valid Visa card (Eligible Entrants).
Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies associated with this Competition are ineligible to enter.

The Prize

There will be a total of 1 winner during the Competition Period (selected in accordance with the Judging Criteria) and these terms and conditions (Winner).
The Prize comprises the following:
2 x return economy airfares between the winner’s closest Australian state capital city and London for the winner and one guest;
Return private car transfers between London airport and London hotel;
Five (5) nights accommodation at a minimum 4 star hotel (twin/double share);
Tickets on the London Eye for two people;
AUD$1500 spending money payable to the winner only by cheque or EFT;
All winner management by 33 Degrees including all travel arrangements, securing publicity/liability releases and 24 hr phone support for winner while travelling.

(Prize)
The Prize is valued at approximately $13,000 AUD, as at 27 November 2013.

Prize Conditions

The Prize includes only that which set out in clause 8 above and excludes all other incidental costs and expenses. The Prize winner (and their travelling companion) are responsible for all other expenses including spending money, meals, drinks, transfers (unless specified), laundry charges, activities (unless specified), energy surcharges, hotel car parking, other hotel incidentals, visas, ground transportation, taxes not included in the price of the ticket, travel, gratuities, service charges, passports, visas, travel insurance (unless specified), pre and post accommodation, optional activities or excursions, merchandise or any other costs of a related, ancillary or incidental nature and all other ancillary costs. A credit card imprint or cash deposit may be required from the prize winner at check-in to the hotel for all incidental charges.
The Winner must finalise their booking within 90 days of being notified that they are the Winner, and all travel must be completed within 12 months of winner notification.
The Winner must book at least 60 days prior to intended travel departure.
The Prize is a single event holiday and cannot be separated into different holiday vacations.
Availability cannot be guaranteed during Christmas, School holiday and special event periods. Travel cannot be taken on public holidays.
All passengers must travel together on the same flights and stay at the same property.
The Winner will be required to sign a Prize acceptance form including liability waiver within 6 weeks of being notified as the Winner.
A credit card imprint may be required from the Winner at check-in to the hotel for all incidental charges.
Once booking is confirmed no changes are allowed, unless otherwise authorised by the Promoter in its absolute discretion and if permitted will incur a fee of $150 including GST plus supplier charges (which will be payable by the Winner).
Travel suppliers/airlines will be chosen at the discretion of 33 Degrees Worldwide Pty Ltd (the Prizing Agency).
Travel insurance is highly recommended and will be at the expense of the Winner. If the Winner chooses not to purchase travel insurance they will be required to complete a travel insurance waiver form acknowledging that they understand the benefits of travel insurance but declined to take out a policy.
In the event that an element of the Prize is cancelled or postponed for any reason, the Winner forfeits the specified element and no cash alternative offer will be granted in lieu of the part of the Prize.
The Winner agrees that he or she will not sell or otherwise provide his or her story and/or photographs to any media or other organisation.
If a Winner is under the age of 18 years, redemption of the Prize must be approved and accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The Winner and companion must travel on the same flights.
The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies make no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination. International travel advice can be obtained from various sources, including government, local consular offices and the web site of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
The Winner and his or her travelling companion must possess a passport with a minimum of (6) six months validity from the date of scheduled return to Australia. It is the responsibility of the Winner and their companions to ensure that they have full and correct documentation for travel. The Promoters and their associated agencies and companies will not be held responsible for any loss or delay that may occur as a result of any passport or visa not being produced for travel. The Winner is responsible for the cost of any visas and passports.
As a condition of accepting the Prize, the Winner and companions must sign any legal documentation required by the Promoter including any legal release and indemnity form.
Air tickets are available on the regular scheduled services of each airline and are subject to seasonal embargos. Flight itinerary may have to be adjusted depending on the airlines departure city and their current flight schedule. Frequent Flyer points or any other airline loyalty reward program points are not available from any airline.

The Prize is also subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers.
The Promoter, Prize provider and activity operators, in their absolute discretion, at all times reserve the right to:
prevent any winner and/or their companions from participating in any activity if, at any time, they reasonably believe that they pose a safety risk or for any other reason; and/or
cancel any activity if the conditions are deemed dangerous; and/or
vary and/or substitute the Prize (or part thereof) without notice with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, unless to do so would be prohibited by law.

Judging Criteria

There will be one round of judging. Judging will take place at Momentum Worldwide 26-32 Pyrmont St, Pyrmont NSW 2009.
The judging criteria for all entries submitted answering the Questions is as follows:
creativity of the answer; and
originality of the answer.

(Judging Criteria)
A panel of 3 judges provided by the Promoter will judge the Competition.
The best entry, as determined by the judges in their sole discretion according to the Judging Criteria will be the winners of the Prizes (Winner(s)). The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in the determination of the Winner(s).

Winner Notification

The Competition will be judged on Tuesday 1st April 2014 at 12noon (AEST) at Momentum, Level 2, 26- 32 Prymount Bridge Road, Pyrmont NSW 2009.
The Winner of the Draw will be notified after the judging takes place on Tuesday 1 April 2014 by telephone on the number provided by the Eligible Entrant in his or her entry form. If the Promoter is unable to contact the Eligible Entrant by telephone, then the Promoter may notify the winner by voicemail message or by email on the numbers and addresses provided by the Eligible Entrant

In the event that a Winner is unable to accept a Prize, or is not able to be contacted, the Eligible Entrant with the next best entry as judged by the judges in accordance with the Judging Criteria will be deemed the new winner of the Prize. The Eligible Entrant that is deemed the new Winner will be notified by email within 3 business days of the judges’ decision.
