FOX FM – Fifi & Dave’s $250,000 Double Date

During the Promotion Period, at various times on Contesting Days, the Promoter will broadcast one (1) month of the calendar year (eg one (1) of the following – January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November or December) (“Cue to Call”).
2. To enter, entrants must, during Contesting:
(a) Call the Station Competition Line on 13 10 60 following the broadcast Cue to Call, if their birthday is in that nominated month as per the Cue to Call.
(b) The Promoter will select two (2) callers at random (subject to eligibility criteria) to be Contestants to play the Game for that contesting segment.
3. The Game is called “Fifi & Dave’s $250,000 Double Date”. The Contestants will be instructed to play the Game as follows:
(a) Both Contestant A and Contestant B birthdates are in the same nominated month by the Promoter.
(b) The Promoter will ask (confidentially) Contestant A, their date of birth during the nominated month (i.e. a day from the 1st to the 31st of the month depending on how many days in the month).
(c) Contestant A then has two (2) options to Play:
OPTION 1: Guess if Contestant B’s birthdate is before or after their birthdate.
Contestant A can play by guessing if Contestant B’s birthday is “before” OR “after” their birthdate in that month, for the chance to win a Minor Prize.
The Minor Prize Value will be broadcast on air at the time of contesting by the Promoter.
Contestant A will not be aware of the birthdate of Contestant B. It will be a complete guess.
If Contestant A correctly guesses that Contestant B’s birthdate is “before” or “after” they will win a Minor Prize. In this instance Contestant B will not win any prize money.
If Contestant A, incorrectly guesses that Contestant B’s birthdate is “before” or “after” they will not win a Minor Prize. In this instance Contestant B will automatically be a Minor Prize Winner.
For example:
Nominated month by the Promoter is June.
Contestant A birthday = 13th June
Contestant B birthday = 17th June
Here Contestant B’s birthday is “after” Contestant A’s birthday.
Therefore, to be a Minor Prize Winner, Contestant A would need to guess correctly that the birthday is “after”.
OPTION 2: Play a “Double Date”
Contestant A can play for the nominated “Double Date” for the chance to win a Major Prize.

The Major Prize Value will be broadcast on air at the time of contesting by the Promoter.
For a Double Date, Contestant A needs to take the chance and guess that both Contestant A and Contestant B have exactly the same birthdate in the nominated month.
Contestant A will not be aware of the birthdate of Contestant B. It is a complete “guess”.
If Contestant A correctly guesses that Contestant B’s birthdate is exactly the same as their own birthdate, both Contestant A and Contestant B will win a 50% (ie – equal) share of the Major Prize. For the sake of clarity, in this instance Contestant B will win half a Major Prize, and Contestant A will win half a Major Prize.
If Contestant A incorrectly guesses that Contestant B’s birthdate is the same as their own birthdate, Contestant A will not win a Major Prize. In this instance Contestant B will not win a Major Prize either. Neither Contestant will win any Prize in this scenario.
Please note:
 If Contestant A is born on the first day of the month (e.g. 1st of any month), for their chance to win a Prize they can either;
a) Correctly identify that Contestant B’s birthday is after theirs to win the Minor Prize money, or;
b) Take the chance and go with Option 2 to play for the Major Prize money (which will be split with Contestant B
 If Contestant A was born on the last day of the month (e.g. 30th June), for their chance to win a Prize they can either;
a) Correctly identify that Contestant B’s birthday is before theirs to win the Minor Prize money, or;
b) Take the chance and go with Option 2 to play for the Major Prize Money (which will be split with Contestant B).
 If Contestant A chooses Option 1 to play for a Minor Prize, and it is then revealed that they have the same birth date as Contestant B, they will not win a Minor Prize or a Major Prize. In this instance Contestant B will automatically be a Minor Prize Winner.
