1. STANDARD TERMS
1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.

2. WHO CAN ENTER?
2.1 Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to all residents of Australia 18 years of age or older, except for residents of South
Australia who must be 25 years older and hold a current Full Australian Driver’s Licence (as per SA legislative
requirements) where the Channel Seven signal and its affiliated networks (“Affiliates”) signals are received.
2.2 Employees and the immediate families of the Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Twentieth Century Fox Film
Distributors, Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter.

3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 The Competition commences on Thursday 27 March 2014 at 19:00 (AEDT) and concludes on Monday 31 March 2014
at 09:00 (AEDT) (“the Competition Period”).
3.2 In order to enter, viewers must watch Better Homes and Gardens (“the Program”) on the Seven Network (“the
Broadcaster”) and affiliates during the Competition Period when a Competition segment inviting viewers to enter (or
any replacement program broadcast in the Better Homes and Gardens timeslot).
3.3 In order to enter the draw, viewers must either:
a) send a text message/SMS to 1977 7277 and register their full name, suburb and state;
or
b) telephone 1902 55 77 02 and register their name, address (including postcode) and contact daytime
telephone number (including STD area code).
3.4 All entrants in the Competition may enter up to a maximum of 100 times, but only one prize will be awarded per
person. For SMS entries, once the maximum of 100 entries have been received from a single mobile account, entrants
will receive a reply SMS message notifying them of this limit. If it is otherwise discovered that an entrant has entered
more than 100 times in total, via any entry mechanic, only the first 100 entries will be included in the draw and
further entries will not be considered, nor will the cost of the entries be refunded to entrants.
3.5 For SMS entrants, each entry must be charged to a mobile account and SMS entries via the internet, computer
generation or “scripting” are invalid and will not be accepted.
3.6 Entries must be received by Monday 31 March 2014 at 09:00 (AEDT). The time of entry will in each case be the time
the SMS message or 1902 telephone call is received by the Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd database.
3.7 SMS entrants will receive a reply message to their entry.
3.8 Each SMS entry will be charged at premium rate, namely $0.55 (including GST), which covers the entry and the reply
message.
3.9 The maximum 1902 call cost is $0.55 (including GST). 1902 call costs will be higher from mobile phones.

4.1 There will be one (1) winner in total who will receive the prize package detailed in clause 4.2.

Total maximum value is $30,995.00. Prize value is in Australian Dollars and correct as at the date of printing. The
Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate date on which the prize is
taken.
4.3 In accepting the Prize Package detailed in clause 4.2, the winner must agree to the following conditions:
a) Prize must be booked eight (8) weeks prior to propose travel dates. Winner travel must be taken by 30 April
2015
b) The traveling companions nominated by the prize winner, once nominated are not transferable. For clarity,
the winner may not transfer the total prize to another person.
c) The travelling companions must be minimum 13 years of age, must travel with a legal guardian unless
explicitly approved by the Promoter, and also must provide valid identification to the Promoter.
d) Where applicable, the prize winner or travel companions aged under 21 years old will be required to forfeit
certain prize components of the prize in accordance with U.S National Minimum Drinking Age Act.
e) Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions, all other travel expenses become the responsibility of
the prize winner. Subject to the prize package stipulated in clause 4.2, the prize winner and their travel
companion are responsible for all expenses including but not limited to spending money, transfers, drinks,
incidentals, mini-bar, in-room video, room service, activities, additional insurance coverage, energy
surcharges, gratuities, services charges, passports, items of a personal nature, meals (other than featured in
the itinerary), laundry, telephone calls, additional nights or upgrades and all other ancillary costs
f) Blackout periods apply. Prize cannot be taken during American Award Ceremonies, Australian school
holidays, Australian or US public holidays, or other Australian or US peak periods (specifically 23 to 30 January
2015, 1 to 6 March 2015, and 9 to 13 June 2015). Total travel itinerary (detailed in clause 4.2) is limited to
availability on set departures.

g) The prize winner and their travelling companion must travel on the same flight, at the same time, must
depart from the same capital city (Adelaide/Brisbane/Melbourne/Perth/Sydney) for flight departure to Los
Angeles United States of America. The Promoter will not be liable for any cost arising from or otherwise
related to delays or cancellations to the travel booked by the winner, either to or from the nominated capital
city and their residence. All booking and costs related to obtaining, amending or otherwise concerning the
travel to/from their residence and the nominated capital city are the responsibility of the winner.
h) There can be no changes made to travel arrangements once itineraries or tickets are issued, including no
name changes. The Sponsor will inform the major prize winner of their flight times and dates no later than 5
weeks before scheduled departure.
i) The prize winner is responsible for ensuring that all those travelling have valid passports and applicable visas.
The Promoter will not be held responsible for any loss or delay that may occur as a result of any passport or
visa not being produced in time for travel. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if the prize
winner’s nominated travel companion cannot travel because of non-compliance with any passport, visa or
immigration requirements.
j) Frequent flyer points will not form part of the prize
k) Travel insurance is included in the prize package though it is highly recommended that the winner and their
travel companions to assess total eligibility of the travel insurance coverage based on their personal
requirements
l) Any changes made to the booking by the prize winner or their travel companion, including extending the trip,
are at the winner’s expense and must be arranged by the winner.
m) The winner will be required to present their credit card at time of accommodation check in.
n) In relation to the Twentieth Century Fox Studio Tour and also the Dreamworks Animation Studio tour prize
elements, these must be actioned in the month of October 2014 due to availability. If the prize winner cannot
fulfil this prize package in October 2014, then these prize elements will be forfeited and no replacement will
be made in lieu.
o) The private film screening will be confirmed closer to the proposed travel date by the Sponsor
p) The winner’s cheque will be provided to the winner within 28 days of prize package confirmation
q) Compliance with any health or other government requirements is the responsibility of the prize winners and
their nominated travel companions.
r) FOR CAR HIRE AND LOAN AGREEMENTS: The winner must comply with all of the rental car company
agreements at the time of the loan.
I. In the event that the vehicle is involved in an accident or damaged in anyway, an Accident/Damage
Report in the form required by the rental car company must be completed and forwarded to the
rental car company dealer that the vehicle was collected from within 24 hours of the damage
occurring. Repairs to the vehicle are not to be undertaken without the written consent of the rental
car company or its appointed assessor.
II. The rental car company retains the title to the vehicle and the winner must not purport to sell,
pledge, mortgage, lend, transfer, or in any way encumber the vehicle. All costs relating to insurance,
registration, service, repairs, etc, of the vehicle will be borne by the rental car company except for
the following items which the winner will be responsible for including but not limited to any
negligent act performed by the driver or passengers involving the said vehicle: any loss or damage
caused to, or by, the vehicle should the winner (or driver) be intoxicated or under the influence of
medication or drugs whilst in control of the said vehicle: or any fines or penalties incurred for traffic
infringements whilst the vehicle is in the custody and control of the winner (or nominated driver).
The winner is to return the car to the rental car company immediately upon completion of the six
days and if the winner fails to do this, the rental car company is irrevocably authorised to enter any
premises in which they believe the vehicle to be situated and take possession of and remove the
vehicle.
III. The winner will be responsible for, including but not limited to any negligent act performed by the
driver or passengers involving the said vehicle: any loss or damage caused to, or by, the vehicle
should the winner (or driver) be intoxicated or under the influence of medication or drugs whilst in
control of the said vehicle: or any fines or penalties incurred for traffic infringements whilst the
vehicle is in the custody and control of the winner (or nominated driver). The driver of the car must
have a current Australian State or Territory license (which is not under suspension or cancellation) as
at the date on which the winner (or companion) is to drive the vehicle.
IV. It is a requirement that the winner or one of the winner’s travel companions is minimum 25 years of
age and also possesses a full qualified Australian driver’s license to fulfil the car hire portion of the
prize package. If the prize winner is not over 25 years of age or cannot nominate a travel companion
to fulfil the car hire portion of the prize package, due to the nature of the travel itinerary, the total
prize package then must be forfeited and a letter of consent must be sent to the Promoter to

confirm this outcome. In this event, there will be no substitute prize pack and a winner re-draw will
occur on the advice from the Promoter.
4.6 The prize winners (and their nominated travel companion where applicable) agree they will not sell or otherwise
provide their story and/or photographs to any media or other organisation.
4.7 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the prize winners (and their nominated travel companion where applicable)
must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and Prize Sponsor’s requirements.
4.8 All prizes cannot be redeemed for cash, and are not transferable or exchangeable.
4.9 If for any reason any of the prize elements listed are not available, a replacement to equal or greater value will be
chosen by the Prize Sponsor subject to state government legislation.
4.10 Any costs related to any portion of the prizes, unless stated otherwise, are the responsibility of the winner.
4.11 The Promoter may require the prize winners (and their nominated travel companion where applicable) to sign a
waiver of liability and indemnity in the form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
4.12 Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the prize.

5. HOW TO WIN
5.1 There will be one (1) winner drawn as per clause 4.2 from the national pool of 1902 and SMS entrants. Each entrant
who has entered the Competition in accordance with clause 3.2 during the Competition Period using a mobile phone
with a reply path and whose SMS message has passed through the Telco carriers network to Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd’s
database or phoned the 1902 number registered all details required within the Competition dates and times as stated
in clause 3.1 (“Qualifying Entrant”) will be entered into the draw. Entries that do not comply with these terms and
conditions, may be deemed invalid and a further draw will be conducted in its place. The draw will take place at Mnet
Mobile Pty Ltd, Level 1, 16 Anster Street, Adelaide, South Australia 5000 on Monday 31 March 2014 at 09:30 (AEDT).
5.2 The Seven Network Marketing Department will notify the winner by a phone call within two days of the draw, and a
letter advising the winner of their prize will also be express posted. The winners’ entry details will be published in the
Public Notes section of The Australian newspaper on Monday 7 April 2014.
5.3 The Promoter may in its absolute discretion deem entries invalid subsequently to a winner being notified or a winner’s
name being announced if it is discovered that the winner did not enter the Competition in accordance with these
terms and conditions. In these circumstances, an additional draw will be conducted.
5.4 The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
5.5 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner (and any travel companions where applicable) may be required
to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
5.6 Subject to state government legislation an unclaimed prize draw will take place at Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd, Level 1, 16
Anster Street, Adelaide, South Australia 5000 on Monday 30 June 2014 at 10:00 (AEDT). The winner will be notified
by a phone call on the day of the draw, and a letter advising the winner of their prize will also be express posted.
Unclaimed Prize winner name will be published in the Public Notes section of The Australian newspaper on Monday 7
July 2014 if required.
