Competition terms and conditions:

Entry
1.Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Competition terms and conditions.
2.Any costs associated with accessing the promotional website remain the responsibility of each entrant and are dependent on the internet service provider used.
3.Entry to this promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
4.Entrants must be aged 18 years. Proof of age may be required.
5.To enter the Competition, entrants must complete an online form at www.vibrant.sa.gov.au and “like” the page www.facebook.com/ibikeilike
6.To be eligible to win all entrants’ details submitted at www.vibrant.sa.gov.au must match the details provided on their Facebook profile.
7.To be eligible to win, the I Bike I Like Facebook page must be ‘liked’ by the entrant at time of competition close and up to two days after competition close.
8.The Promotional Period commences Sunday 4 May and closes at 5:00pm CST Friday 30 May 2014.
9.The directors, management and employees of the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (“DPTI”) and their immediate families are ineligible to enter the Competition.
10.The competition is only open to residents of South Australia. Entrants must be residents of South Australia at the time of claiming the Prize, proof of which may be requested.
11.Entries are deemed to be accepted at the time of receipt and not at the time of transmission of their entry.
12.Entries must be received during the promotional period. DPTI accepts no responsibility for late or misdirected entries.
Entries received will be considered final. Incomplete, inaccurate, erroneous, or entries other than in accordance with the Competition terms and conditions will be deemed invalid and may not be considered further.

Personal information

13.By entering the competition and accepting the terms and conditions, you accept that DPTI may use your personal details for the purpose of conducting the competition.
14.By entering the competition, you give the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure permission to contact you via email if you are a winner of the competition.
15.By entering the competition, each entrant agrees to receive emails from dpti.editor@sa.gov.au
16.If entrants do not wish to be bound by the Competition terms and conditions or participate in the Competition they must email dpti.editor@sa.gov.au and advise that they do not wish to participate. Failure to notify DPTI by email by no later than 5:00pm CST Friday 30 May 2014 will be deemed acceptance of the terms and conditions.
Prize packs

17.Each week of the competition period, one male and one female entrant will go into the draw to win an I Bike I Like t-shirt. The first two entrants to meet these terms and conditions will be awarded an I Bike I Like t-shirt.
18.At the end of the competition period the first eligible entry randomly drawn from all entries will win a $500 voucher towards the purchase of a bicycle. The winner can only redeem this voucher at a retail outlet agreed to by the Promoter.
19.The winner will be selected on the first working day of the following week (or at such other time as the Promoter determines) and will take place at the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure, 136 Roma Mitchell House Adelaide. (A working day is any day that is not a Saturday or Sunday or a public holiday in South Australia under the Holidays Act 1910).
20.The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
21.The winners will be notified by email and via a comment on facebook.com/ibikeilike.
22.The winner must make contact with the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure via email at dpti.editor@sa.gov.au to arrange a time to claim their prize.
23.Winners must provide their full name, postal address or their current mobile telephone number and email address. Prizes must be claimed from the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure office located at 136 North Terrace, Adelaide within two weeks of being notified or such other time as may be mutually agreed, otherwise the prize will be forfeited.
24.The winner will be selected in accordance with clauses 17 and 18.
25.The promoter shall endeavour to contact the winner via their email account within one week of the prize draw. In the event that the winner cannot be contacted after two weeks, an alternate winner will be selected on the basis of the criteria specified and the original winner will forfeit any prize.
26.The prize remains the property of the Promoter until claimed by the prize winner.
27.The prize is valued in Australian Dollars (AUD).
28.Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
29.In the event that the prize becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter reserves the right to provide a similar product of the same or greater value as the original prize, subject to any applicable law.
30.The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings.
General

31.The Promoter accepts no liability for the prize if lost or damaged in transit.

33.The Promoter reserves the right to request the winner to produce proof of identity, proof of age and proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. If identification required by the Promoter is not received by the Promoter (or its nominated agent) the winner’s entry will be deemed invalid. The prizes will only be awarded following any winner validation and verification that the Promoter requires.
34.The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss), damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (including but not limited to that arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with taking or using the prize, except any liability that cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
35.The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these terms and conditions, or if the entrant is engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Competition. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
36.The promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry which, in the opinion of the Promoter, includes objectionable content, profanity, and potentially insulting, inflammatory or defamatory statements.
37.If for any reason the Competition is not capable of running as planned because of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, subject to any written directions given under applicable law, and the Promoter will not be liable for any loss whatsoever, howsoever arising.
38.The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information communicated in the course of, or in connection with, this Competition if the deficiency is occasioned by any cause outside the reasonable control of the Promoter.
