METHOD OF ENTRY

3. Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.

4. Entry is open to residents of Australia and New Zealand 18 years or over. Directors, management and employees of the promoter and its related entities (and their immediate families), printers, suppliers, providers and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter the promotion.
The competition period starts on Tuesday 8 July, 2014 at 9am AEST and ends on Tuesday 5 August 2014 at 11:59pm AEST (the “Competition Period”).

HOW TO ENTER

5. To enter, entrants must:
Go to http://saletheworld.com and follow the competition directions contained in the prize panel;
Complete 3 tasks and sign up for Sale The World membership which is free

Entries are subject to the following:
Only one (1) entry per person permitted.
Entry must be submitted in accordance with entry requirements to be deemed valid.
Winners will be notified in writing via email

6. Sale The World reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of their correct email address in order to claim a prize. In the event that a winner cannot provide proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.

7. Incomprehensible and incomplete entries will be deemed invalid.

PRIZE/DRAW

The prize will be delivered via email to the winner’s nominated email address once confirmed and validated in accordance with Condition 11.

Total prize pool is valued up to AU$500.

9. A Sale The World representative will select a winner via random computer selection from all valid entries on Friday 8 August 2014 at 10am (AEST) at Sale The World, 17/30 Bucknell Street, Newtown, NSW, 2042. The Prize winner will be notified in writing by a personal email via their nominated email address. The name of the prize winner will be published on the Sale The World website and social media Twitter and Facebook accounts from 13 August 2014.

10. Sale The World may draw ten (10) additional reserve entries in the draw and record them (in order) in case an invalid entry or ineligible Entrant is drawn, the Entrant is unable to accept the Prize, or if the Entrant does not confirm their eligibility to be awarded the Prize in the required time.

11.The person whose entry was drawn must confirm their eligibility to be awarded the Prize. The winner has three (3) months of The Promoter speaking with them and successfully notifying them that they have been drawn, otherwise their entry will be deemed invalid. If their entry is deemed invalid or if the Entrant does not confirm their eligibility to be awarded the Prize within the three (3) months of being successfully notified, the Prize will be awarded to the first reserve entry drawn in accordance with Condition 10

13. The Promoter may conduct a re-draw 3 months from the last original draw being Friday 7 November 2014 at the same time and address of original draw subject to any written directions given under applicable State or Territory legislation. The winner will be notified in writing via email. The name and locality of the winner will be published as per Condition 9 from 12 November 5, 2014.

14. If the Prize cannot be awarded to the person drawn, The Promoter will continue the process set out in Conditions 10 with the reserve entries (in turn) until the Prize is awarded. If after this process the Prize has still not been awarded, The Promoter will hold an unclaimed prize draw.

15. There may be circumstances in which the Promoter cannot provide the prizes as described for reasons beyond its reasonable control. In those circumstances, the Promoter will provide an alternative prize or prizes of equal or greater value to the promoted prizes.

17. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.

18. Sale The World accepts no responsibility for any loss, damages, or injury incurred to enter the competition or in connection with taking up the prizes.

19. Once prizes have left the prize supplier’s premises, we take no responsibility for prizes damaged, delayed or lost in transit.

FINAL CONDITIONS

20. Sale The World takes no liability for any tax issues which may arise from accepting a prize in this competition. Consult an independent tax adviser if this is a concern.

21. Prize values are based upon the recommended retail prices at the time of printing (inclusive of relevant taxes). Sale The World accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate prize redemption date.

22. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize supplier’s requirements.

23. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, Sale The World (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal or permanent injury or loss of life; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect,special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.

24. Sale The World assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alterations of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.

If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including, but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of Sale The World which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, Sale The World reserves the right in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition. 25. This is a game of chance. Chance plays a part in determining the winner.

26. The judges reserve the right to disqualify any entrant submitting an entry which, in the opinion of the judges, has not followed all steps required to satisfy a valid entry. Sale The World’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

27. All entries become and remain the property of Sale The World. Sale The World may use the entrants’ names and addresses for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes.

28. All details of the entrants will be used and preserved in accordance with the Information Privacy Principles and Sale The World Privacy Policy. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to Sale The World. Unless otherwise notified, Sale The World may use the entries and details of entrants for promotional and publicity purposes. Entrants consent to their full names and/or their entries being used in all media by Sale The World.

29. Entrants acknowledge this competition is in no way associated with or endorsed by Facebook or Twitter. Any information disclosed by entrants entering this competition is not provided to Facebook.
