Promotion Period:
Entry into the Promotion commences at: 2pm AEDT Friday 28 January 2022
Entry into the Promotion closes at: 2pm AEDT Friday 11 February 2022

Age Restriction:
Entrants and any companions (if applicable) must be: 18 years of age or over.

Maximum Number of Entries:
Entrants may submit as many entries as they wish however each entry must be submitted via a separate entry and must independently comply with these Competition Terms of Entry.

For the avoidance of doubt, unless otherwise expressly stated, entrants may only win one (1) prize each in the Promotion.

Entry Method:
Entrants may enter the Promotion in either or both of the following ways:

1. Website Entry:
During the Promotion Period entrants must complete the online entry form and register their details in the manner required on the Website and answer in 25 words or less the question: “Tell us which Aussie destination you want to travel to and why”.

AND/OR

Nova App Entry
During the Promotion Period entrants must download the Nova Player App, register their details, complete the entry form for the Promotion under the ‘win’ tab in the manner required and answer in 25 words or less the question: “Tell us which Aussie destination you want to travel to and why”.

All valid entries received during the Promotion Period will be individually judged by representatives of the Promoter based on the Judging Criteria.

During the Promotion Period, the Promoter will:
(a) select up to ten (10) entrants deemed to have submitted the ‘best’ entries (based on the Judging Criteria, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) from all valid entries received up until that stage of the Promotion Period (Selected Entrants);

(b) contact up to ten (10) of the Selected Entrant/s (in the absolute and sole discretion of the Promoter) by telephone to discuss their entry and assess their suitability for radio (based on the Judging Criteria, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion); and
(c) place up to ten (10) of the “best” Selected Entrants from that weekday (based on the Judging Criteria, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) on the standby list to participate in an On Air Challenge between 4pm and 6pm AEDT on various days during the Promotion Period (each, a Challenger). Challengers will be invited to appear on-air in the order of “best” entry, followed by next “best” entry and so on (based on the Judging Criteria, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion).

2. On Air Challenge
At various times during the Promotion Period, the Promoter will:
(a) call up to ten (10) Challengers (deemed to have submitted the “best” entry from all Selected Entrants on the standby list that day, based on the Judging Criteria) to compete in the On Air Challenge (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion);
(b) the Promoter will have one (1) predetermined band (as specified by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion), the name of which will be unknown to the Challenger (Nominated Band);
(c) the Challenger, during a specified time period (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion), will be given a clue as to what the Nominated Band is and will be asked to guess what the Nominated Band is by stating the name;
(d) should the Challenger not provide the correct response (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion) that Challenger will not be awarded a prize, and the Promoter will invite the Selected Entrant deemed to have submitted the next “best” entry from all Selected Entrants on the standby list that day, based on the Judging Criteria) to participate in the On-Air Challenge as a Challenger;
(e) the next Challenger will be given a further clue as to the name of the Nominated Band and will be asked to guess what the Nominated Band is by stating the name;
(f) this process will continue until a Challenger successfully identifies the Nominated Band by name (in the absolute and sole discretion of the Promoter), at which time that Challenger will be deemed the winner of the contesting spot and awarded a Prize;
the Promoter may (in its sole and absolute discretion) provide clues and hints to Challengers during a contesting spot however the Promoter is under no obligation to do so.

Entry Restrictions:
Guesses must be made on-air
Entrants may only submit guesses on-air as specified in the Entry Method. Guesses submitted in any other way will be deemed invalid, as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion.
Replacing Phone-In and On-Air Entrants
If for any reason an entrant is unable to be contacted, or is otherwise unable to, or declines to, appear on-air, or their phone line drops out or is inaudible, the Promoter (in its sole and absolute discretion) may replace that entrant by contacting/selecting another entrant and inviting them to appear on-air or participate in an on-air game or challenge (where applicable). The Promoter will repeat this process until an entrant is able to be contacted and confirms their eligibility and ability to appear on-air or participate in the relevant on-air game or challenge (where applicable).

Calling in and speaking to Promoter
For the avoidance of doubt, if an entrant is spoken to by a representative of the Promoter, it does not mean they have been selected as an entrant or a winner (where applicable) and they may not be invited to appear on-air or participate in the relevant on-air game or challenge or be awarded a prize (where applicable).

For the avoidance of doubt, entrants must appear on-air during the Promotion Period to be deemed a winner and awarded a prize.
