(“Competition”)
Terms and Conditions
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions. By
participating, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Entries must
comply with these terms and conditions to be valid.
2. The Promoter is Reckitt Benckiser (Australia) Pty Limited (ABN 17 003 274 655) of 44
Wharf Road, West Ryde, 2114 NSW Australia. (PH: 1800 022 046).
3. The competition opens 12.00pm AEST 7th August 2014 and closes 12.00pm AEST 19
September 2014. (“Competition Period”).
Eligibility to Enter
4. Entry is open to residents of Australia who are 18 years and over. (“Eligible Entrants”)
5. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies associated with
this Competition are ineligible to enter.
The Prize
6. The winner (selected in accordance with clauses 12 and 13) will win the Major Prize (as
defined in clause 7), valued at $4,923.10 (“Major Prize”)

How to Enter
8. To enter, Eligible Entrants must complete the following during the Competition Period:
a. log onto www.finishsimplybrilliant.com (which can also be accessed through
www.finishsimplybrilliant.com.au)
(“Competition Website”);
b. complete all of the required fields on the Competition entry page, including signing
up to the Finish Simply Brilliant newsletter. Mandatory fields include:

c. agree to the terms and conditions and to being contacted by the Promoter in
conjunction with this Competition.
9. Eligible Entrants will be invited to optionally share their entry into the Competition through
Facebook (“Shared Post”). Eligible Entrants can receive one (1) additional entry into the
Competition if an Eligible Entrants’ Facebook friend clicks on the Eligible Entrant’s
Facebook Shared Post and then successful submits an entry into the competition in
accordance with clause 8 (“Additional Entry”).
10. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for:
a. Any late, lost or misdirected entries; or
b. Instances where Eligible Entrants are not entered into the Major Prize draw
due to forces beyond the Promoter’s control.
11. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an Eligible Entrant, the Promoter reserves the
right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the Eligible Entrant.
Prize Draw & Winner Notification
12. The Major Prize draw will take place at the end of the Competition, on 24th September
2014. The winner will be drawn at 12:00PM AEST 24th September 2014 at Handling
Matters, 1/3 Green Street, Brookvale, NSW 2100 (“Major Prize Draw”)
13. The Major Prize will be awarded to the person named on the application form of the first
valid entry drawn (“Winner”).
14. The Winner of the Major Prize Draw will be notified in writing via email within two (2)
business days of the draw and his or her name, suburb and state will be published on the
Competition Website for a period of 28 days from 30 September 2014.
15. The Major Prize will be delivered via courier, to the Winner’s residence in Australia, being
the address specified on the application form by the Winner, within 21 days of
confirmation and verification of the Winner.
16. Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason whatsoever the Winner does
not claim the Major Prize or an element of the Major Prize by the reasonable time
stipulated by the Promoter, then the Major Prize or that element of the Major Prize will be
forfeited by the Winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu.
17. If required, an unclaimed prize draw may take place on 6 January 2015 at the same time
and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority.
Winner’s name, suburb and state will be published on the Competition Website for a
period of 28 days from 6 January 2015.
General Conditions
18. Maximum one entry per email address in accordance with clause 8. There is no
maximum of Additional Entries.

19. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid. Any incorrect details
submitted may render the corresponding entry invalid.
20. The Major Prize is not transferable and not redeemable for cash. The Promoter’s
decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter
accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications.
Entries will be deemed void if illegitimate, forged, manipulated or tampered with in any
way.
21. In the event that the Major Prize (or any part of the Major Prize) becomes unavailable for
reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute the Major Prize (or
that part of the Major Prize) with a prize of equal or greater value, unless to do so would
be prohibited by law and subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
22. The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address
of the Winner and any other information relevant to entry into or participation in this
Competition. Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final. The
Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who is involved in any way in
interfering or tampering with the conduct of this Competition, including but not limited to
tampering by way of use of automated entry software. Failure by the Promoter to enforce
any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
23. Nothing in these terms and conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit,
exclude or modify any statutory consumer guarantees or any implied condition or
warranty the exclusion of which from these terms and conditions would contravene any
statute or cause any part of these terms and conditions to be void (“Non-Excludable
Guarantees”). Subject to the limitations in the preceding sentence, the Promoter
excludes from these terms and conditions all conditions, warranties and terms implied by
statute, general law or custom. Except for liability in relation to a Non Excludable
Guarantee, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all
liability whether arising in tort (including without limitation negligence), contract or
otherwise for any personal injury or any other loss or damage (including without limitation
loss of opportunity or loss of profits) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential,
arising in any way out of the Competition, including, without limitation, the following: (a)
any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s
control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or
Major Prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after
their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the
Promoter; (d) any variation in Major Prize value to that stated in these terms and
conditions; (e) any tax implications; and/or (f) the Major Prize or use of the Major Prize.
24. The Promoter collects personal information for the purpose of conducting this
Competition (which may include disclosure to third parties, including Major Prize
suppliers), for promotional purposes and for any purpose required under Australian lottery
legislation or any other regulatory authority. Entry is conditional on providing this
information. By entering this Competition Eligible Entrants consent to the use of their
personal information as described above and agree that the Promoter may use this
information, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any media for future
promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment
to the Eligible Entrant, including sending the Eligible Entrant electronic messages. The
Promoter’s privacy policy contains information about how an Eligible Entrant may access
or correct personal information held about them or complain about a breach of the
Australian Privacy Principles. To access, change and/or update personal information or
obtain a copy of the Promoter’s privacy policy Eligible Entrants may contact the Promoter
by email on inquiry@rb.com or by phone on 1800 022 046 during office hours. All entries
become the property of the Promoter.

25. Should an Eligible Entrant’s contact details change during the Competition Period, it is the
Eligible Entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any
information provided in an entry should be directed to Promoter.
26. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any
telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer
equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any
web site, or any combination thereof, (including but not limited to) any injury or damage to
participants or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or
down-loading any materials in this competition.
27. The Major Prize is based upon the recommended retail prices at the time of printing
(inclusive of GST). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value
between now and the ultimate prize redemption date.
28. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the Winner must comply with all the conditions
of use of the Major Prize and the Major Prize supplier’s requirements.
29. It is a condition of accepting the Major Prize that the Winner may be required to sign a
legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
30. In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or
significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates
and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to
vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike,
war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition
and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to any written
directions given under State Regulation.
31. This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated
with, Facebook. Eligible Entrants understand that they are providing their information to
the Promoter and not to Facebook. The information an Eligible Entrant provides will only
be used for the purposes outlined in this Terms and Conditions document. Any questions,
comments or complaints about this promotion must be directed to the Promoter and not
to Facebook.
32. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the
Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any
unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper
conduct of the promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other
compensation from such an offender are reserved.
33. If for any reason whatsoever beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter this
Competition is not capable of running as planned, the Promoter reserves the right in its
sole discretion to take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify
or suspend the competition, subject to any written direction given under State Regulation.
34. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster the Promoter reserves the
right (subject to any written directions under applicable law) to cancel, terminate, modify
or suspend the Competition.
