CIL Insurance – Get Quote or Buy Insurance to Win Cash Prize
CIL CASHED UP & FUELLED UP COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This competition (“Competition”) is conducted by AAI Limited ABN 48 005 297 807, AFSL 230859, trading as CIL Insurance, of Level 11, 447 Collins Street, Melbourne, Victoria 3000 (“Promoter”). Nothing in these conditions restricts, excludes or modifies or purports to restrict, exclude or modify any statutory consumer rights under any applicable law including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
Entry to the Competition constitutes acceptance of these conditions. All entry instructions and prize information published by the Promoter form part of these terms and conditions.
The Competition is only open to individuals who: (i) are residents of Australia aged 18 years or older as at time of entry; and (ii) are not employees of the Promoter or any of its related corporations or any of their agencies associated with the Competition; and (iii) are not a spouse, de-facto spouse, parent, child or sibling (whether natural or by adoption) of any employee specified in 3(ii) (“Eligible Entrant”).
Competition entry commences at 09:00 hrs on 01/10/13 and closes at 17:00 hrs on 28/02/14 (“Entry Period). Except as otherwise stated, all times are Australian Eastern Standard Time.
Except as otherwise indicated, all amounts stated in these conditions are stated in Australian dollars.
To enter the Competition, Eligible Entrants must do at least one of the following during the Entry Period:
Obtain an Insurance Quote from the Promoter. Subject to the other conditions, an Eligible Entrant will receive one entry into the Competition for each Insurance Quote obtained during the Entry Period. Provided that only one entry will be awarded per caravan, motorhome, camper trailer or other recreational vehicle (RV) in respect of which an Eligible Entrant receives multiple quotes.
Purchase or renew an Insurance Policy from the Promoter. Subject to the other conditions, an Eligible Entrant will receive three entries into the Competition for each Insurance Policy purchased during the Entry Period. Provided that the entry will be forfeited where the Insurance Policy is cancelled prior to the draw date specified at clause 11.
An Insurance Quote / Insurance Policy can be obtained via the phone, via the internet or via the Promoter at an event as follows:
To enter via phone, an Eligible Entrant must call the Promoter on 1800 112 481 (free call from a landline phone, mobile rates apply for calls from mobile phones) and obtain an Insurance Quote and/or purchase an Insurance Policy during the Entry Period. The Eligible Entrant must provide all details required by the Promoter and acceptance is subject to the Promoter’s standard underwriting criteria.
To enter via the internet, an Eligible Entrant must use a compatible browser to visit www.cilinsurance.com.au (“Competition Website”) and follow the directions to apply for an Insurance Quote during the Entry Period. The Eligible Entrant must provide all details required by the Promoter and acceptance is subject to the Promoter’s standard underwriting criteria. Please note that an Insurance Quote will not be received immediately upon application but the Promoter will endeavour to provide an Insurance Quote within 2 business days of receiving all relevant information.
To enter via the Promoter at an event, an Eligible Entrant must provide all details required by the Promoter to apply for an Insurance Quote during the Entry Period. The Eligible Entrant must provide all details required by the Promoter and acceptance is subject to the Promoter’s standard underwriting criteria. Please note that an Insurance Quote will not be received immediately upon application but the Promoter will endeavour to provide an Insurance Quote within 2 business days of receiving all relevant information.
All Eligible Entrants must ensure that the Promoter receives their entries during the Entry Period. Entries will be deemed accepted at the time of issue of an Insurance Quote / Insurance Policy by the Promoter and not at the time of submission by the Eligible Entrant. The Promoter takes no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, illegible or misdirected entries or for any delays or failures in any telecommunications service or equipment.
The Promoter may, at its absolute discretion, declare any or all entries made by an Eligible Entrant invalid if the Eligible Entrant tampers with the entry process, benefits from tampering or submits an entry that is illegible, incomplete or not in accordance with these conditions.
Eligible Entrants must submit their internet entries manually. The Promoter may reject internet entries if it reasonably forms the opinion that they have been entered using automated entry means or by use of a competition entry service. There is no cost for entering the Competition but when entering via the internet connection and usage rates may apply. Eligible Entrants should obtain details of such costs from their service providers.
DRAW AND PRIZES
All valid entries will be entered into the prize draws. The random draw for the prizes will be held at 12:00pm Sydney time on 13/03/14 at Salmat Digital Pty Ltd, Level 2, 116 Miller Street, North Sydney NSW 2060. There are 11 prizes. An Eligible Entrant does not need to be in attendance at the prize draw to win a prize.
The first valid entry drawn will win $10,000 Cash, transferred to the prize winner by EFT upon notification of account details.
The next 5 valid entries drawn will each win a $1,000 Caltex StarCash Fuel Voucher (valid for 1 year).
The next 5 valid entries drawn will each win a $500 BIG4 Holiday Parks Gift Voucher (valid for 2 years).
PROVISIONS APPLICABLE TO THE PRIZE GENERALLY
The total value of the prizes is $17,500 including GST.
The prizes are valued as at 5/08/13. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any variations in the prize value.
If the prizes (or part of the prize) is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter may, in its absolute discretion, substitute alternative goods or services of no lesser retail value and/or specification, subject to the approval of the authorities that have issued permits for the conduct of the Competition. The Promoter accepts no other liability or responsibility for any loss incurred by the prize winner or any other party if the prize (or part of the prize) is unavailable for any reason.
The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-replaceable, and non-redeemable for cash, excluding the cash component of the prize.
WINNERS OF THE PRIZE
The prize winners will be notified by a phone call and a written message that will be sent by e-mail or mail to the e-mail or mailing address provided by the winners in their entry.
The prize notification will state the prize that has been won and will include instructions as to how the prize winner is to claim the prize and establish his/her entitlement to it.
The names of the prize winners will be published in The Australian on the 21/03/14.
The names of the prize winners will be published at the Competition Website within 7 days of the prizes being won (including if the prize is won under any redraw under condition 24), for a period of at least 1 week.
Subject, where relevant, to any directions given under the legislation regulating the Competition, if a prize is: (i) not claimed by the prize winner within 3 months of the draw for the prize; (ii) forfeited for any reason; or (iii) the prize winner is determined by the Promoter to be ineligible, the prize will be awarded to another Eligible Entrant in a redraw for the prize. Any such redraw will be made from a pool of entries comprising all those entries that were originally eligible to win a prize. Any such redraw will commence at 12:00 on 16/06/14 at at Salmat Digital Pty Ltd, Level 2, 116 Miller Street, North Sydney NSW 2060. If there is a redraw, the name of the winner of the redraw will be published in The Australian on 20/06/14.
