BY ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES, YOU AGREE TO THESE OFFICIAL RULES, WHICH ARE A CONTRACT, SO READ THEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ENTERING. WITHOUT LIMITATION, THIS CONTRACT INCLUDES INDEMNITIES TO AIR NEW ZEALAND FROM YOU AND A LIMITATION OF YOUR RIGHTS AND REMEDIES.
1. HOW TO ENTER:
All correct entries must be received by entering the sweepstakes online at www.theflyingsocialnetwork.com/safetyinparadise between 5am on Wednesday 12th February 2014 NZ Time and 12noon on Wednesday 26th February 2014 NZ Time.
There is no maximum number of entries allowed per individual.
Air New Zealand will not verify receipt of entries. Incomplete entries will be voided.
2. ELEGIBILITY:
The Sweepstakes is only open to any individual who:
Is not an employee of Air New Zealand, Sports Illustrated Inc., and each of their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and other coordinating agencies involved in the development, implementation and distribution of the Sweepstakes, or an immediate family member or are living in the same household of such an employee.
These Sweepstakes are void where taxed, restricted, or otherwise prohibited by law.
3. PRIZE DETAILS:
Air New Zealand will provide each of the five (5) winners and guest of the “Safety in Paradise” prize;
One x Roundtrip flights for two (2) (the winner and one (1) “Guest”) travelling on Air New Zealand or Air New Zealand codeshare partners from the airport from which Air New Zealand operates nearest the winner’s home town, to Aitutaki, Cook Islands. All travel to Aitutaki will be in economy class.
Twin share/ double hotel accommodations for two (2) for five nights in 4-star accommodation at the Pacific Resort Aitutaki and NZ$500 spending money.
The Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of each Prize is Ten Thousand Dollars. Actual value of the prize may vary based on airfare fluctuations and distance between departure location and destination. Air New Zealand reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to substitute and or modify the prize with a prize of equal or greater value with immediate effect at any time prior to the closing date of the Sweepstakes by advertising that fact. Only one (1) prize is permitted per family or household.
4. PRIZE RESTRICTIONS:
All travel plans for winner and Guest must be made at one (1) time through Kristin.Mooney@airnz.co.nz. Once the Guest is selected, he/she may not be substituted, except in Air New Zealand’s sole and absolute discretion. The Safety in Paradise winner and guest must travel together on the same itinerary.
Once the winners have been contacted, Air New Zealand reserves the right to publically name the winners by their first name and first initial of their surname within their social media channels to communicate the prizes have been claimed and to act as a congratulatory message to the prize winners.
Winner will be solely responsible for all other expenses not specifically set forth herein that are incurred by winner or Guest, including, without limitation, Hotel credit card hold incidentals, spending money, meals, gratuities, souvenirs, airport transfers, travel insurance, rental car and insurance, visas and other entry requirements for the entire trip, and any other incidentals.
Unless otherwise designated, all air travel will be provided by Air New Zealand and codeshare partners and shall be subject to Air New Zealand’s Conditions of Carriage (see www.airnz.co.nz). Prizes, reservations, and airline tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable, non-changeable once issued, and may not be used in conjunction with any other competition or offer. If lost, they will not be replaced. All tickets are subject to the vagaries of flight variation, work stoppages, and schedule or route changes and seat availability for your chosen date of travel. In addition, winner and guest(s) are responsible for any federal, state, and local tax consequences and for compliance with all governmental reporting and payment requirements. Unless otherwise expressly included in the specified Grand Prize, the following are not included: upgrades, accrual of Airpoints Dollars™ or other Mileage redemption.
5. WINNER SELECTION:
The five (5) Safety in Paradise Grand Prize winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible and correct entries received by 12pm Friday 28th February 2014 NZ Time. Drawing will be held by Air New Zealand. All decisions in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes made by Air New Zealand are final. Odds of winning depend solely on the total number of valid entries received. Winner will be notified by using the email contact details provided on his/her entry of the Sweepstakes. If Air New Zealand, using commercially reasonable efforts, is unable to contact the potential winner within Forty Eight Hours (48) hours from the first contact attempt, or if a potential winner has not, or does not comply with these Terms and Conditions, then such person shall be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected.
