TERMS AND CONDITIONS
METHOD OF ENTRY
Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Entry is open to Australian residents only. Employees of SBS and their associated companies and their immediate families are ineligible.
The competition period starts on Monday 7 April 2014 at 10:00am AEST and ends on Sunday 27 April 2014 at 11:59pm AEST (the “Competition Period”).
Entry is via Facebook (www.facebook.com/eurovisionsbs) or Twitter (https://twitter.com/SBSEurovision)
To enter via Facebook, entrants must:
Log-in to www.facebook.com/eurovisionsbs and follow the directions outlined on the Jess Up competition post;
Share their love for Jess and Eurovision by either commenting on the competition post, or posting a photo, video or tip direct to the SBS Eurovision wall
To enter via Twitter, entrants must:
a. Log-in to https://twitter.com/SBSEurovision and follow the directions outlined on the Jess Up competition post;
b. Share their love for Jess and Eurovision by posting a photo, video or tip and using both #JessUp and #SBSEurovision
Entries are subject to the following:
Multiple entries are permitted;
Entry must be submitted in accordance with entry requirements to be deemed valid; and
Entrants agree to be contacted by SBS via personal message on the social media platform they have used to enter the competition (ie Facebook or Twitter) and provide SBS with their full name, email address, residential address and contact number.
SBS reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, proof of Australian residency status at the nominated prize delivery address and/or proof of entry validity, in order to claim a prize. Acceptance of proof of identification, Australian residency status and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of SBS. In the event that a winner cannot provide proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
Incomprehensible and incomplete entries will be deemed invalid.
PRIZE
8. Each Prize pack consists of the following:
· One (1) iPad 2 (16GB) valued up to $398 (RRP) inclusive of GST;
· One (1) Signed copy of Jessica Mauboy’s latest album Beautiful plus a poster valued up to $19.99 (RRP) inclusive of GST;
· One (1) Eurovision Song Contest, Malmo 2013 DVD valued up to $34.99 (RRP) inclusive of GST;
· One (1) Eurovision Song Contest Dress-up Sticker book valued up to $19.95 (RRP) inclusive of GST.
Each Prize pack is valued at AUD$472.93
RRP (inclusive of GST). There are three (3) Prize packs to be won (one prize
pack per week). Total prize pool is $1,418.79.
9. An SBS representative will judge all valid entries received each week on the following dates: Monday 14 April at 10am (AEST) (“Week 1”), Monday 21 April 2014 at 10am (AEST) (“Week 2”) and Monday 28 April 2014 at 10am (AEST) (“Week 3”) at SBS Corporation, 14 Herbert Street, Artarmon, NSW 2064. For Week 1, the Prize winner will be notified by personal message Monday 14 April 2014 at 2pm (AEST). For Week 2, the Prize winner will be notified by personal message Monday 21 April 2014 at 2pm (AEST). For Week 3, the Prize winner will be notified by personal message Monday 28 April 2014 at 2pm (AEST). The name of the prize winners will be published on the SBS website www.sbs.com.au on Wednesday 30 April 2014.
If any of the Prize winners cannot be contacted by Thursday 31 July 2014 2014 at 3pm (AEST), SBS or its nominated agent will award the Prize to the next best entry from all remaining valid entries (“Unclaimed Prize Draw”). The Unclaimed Prize Draw winner/s will be notified by personal message by Friday 8 August 2014 at 3pm (AEST).
There may be circumstances in which the Promoter cannot provide the prizes as described for reasons beyond its reasonable control. In those circumstances, the Promoter will provide an alternative prize or prizes of equal or greater value to the promoted prizes.
Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
SBS accepts no responsibility for any loss, damages, or injury incurred to enter the competition or in connection with taking up the prizes.
Once prizes have left the prize supplier’s premises, we take no responsibility for prizes damaged, delayed or lost in transit.
