Enter the One World Youth Photo Comp for your chance to win $1000 for you and a photography masterclass for your high school with Richard I’Anson, a Canon Master and the author of the best selling Lonely Planet’s Guide to Travel Photography.

The competition is open to all Australian high school students aged between 13 and 18.

Whether you live in Toorak or Toowoomba, Adelaide or Adaminiby, Gove or Geraldton, Richard will travel to the winner’s school to deliver his inspirational and informative masterclass, sharing tips and techniques and showcasing some of the images that has made him one of the worlds most sought after travel photographers.

Richard will choose the winner from six finalists, who will all receive a signed copy of his book Lonely Planet’s Guide to Travel Photography. Three finalists will be chosen by our panel of judges and the other three will be the images with the most public votes.

Terms and Conditions
By entering into the One World Youth Photo Comp you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

1. The One World Youth Photo Competition is organised by World Youth Adventures (the promoter).
2. The competition is open to enrolled Australian high school students aged between 13 and 18.
3. Entries close at 5pm on 06 June 2014.
4. Only one entry per person, a bonus entry will be provided to you if someone enters via you sharing our shared link.
5. The overall winner will be announced on Monday 16 June 2014 on the World Youth Adventures Facebook page.
6. Entries can only be submitted via the competition page at Facebook.com/WorldYouthAdventures
7. This competition is based on skill; chance plays no part in determining the winner.
8. The judging panel will consist of three staff from World Youth Adventures.
9. The winner will receive a prize of AUD$1000 and World Youth Adventures will cover the costs associated with Richard I’Anson travelling to your school (within Australia only) before 20 December 2014 to do a presentation or class for a maximum of 3 hours on an agreed date between your school, Richard and World Youth Adventures.
10. By entering an image you are guaranteeing that the image is your original artistic work and does not infringe the rights of any third party, including but not limited to copyright; trademarks; trade secrets; privacy; publicity; personal or proprietary rights. By entering, you agree to indemnify World Youth Adventures and the World Expeditions Travel Group of companies against all costs and claims by third parties arising from a breach of the above guarantees.
11. Entries not completed in accordance with the rules and conditions or received after the closing date will not be considered. Indecipherable or incomplete entries will be deemed invalid. The judge’s decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding on every person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into.
12. If this competition is not capable of running as planned due to any reason whatsoever beyond the reasonable control of the promoter, the promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law to: (a) disqualify any entrant; and/or (b) subject to any written directions given by a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion as appropriate.
13. If we suspect an image to be linked to any virus or part of an attempt to corrupt the voting process it will be removed from the competition page.
14. The entrant will retain copyright of the image. If World Youth Adventures wishes to use an image for promotional purposes they will contact the entrant to arrange an agreement for its use.
