Ford Australia – Win a trip to Las Vegas 2014

Submit an entry (consisting of a photograph or a video) which describes: in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Mustang: What is Australia’s ‘Route 66’ and where would you drive the new Mustang?

Entrants may submit up to four entries however each entry must be submitted via a separate online entry form and contain a substantially different photo or video.

Selection Process:

The Promoter may, in its sole discretion:

· choose a Winner to receive the GrandPrize (as described below); or

· choose two (2) Finalists who will appear on national television on or about 13 April 2014 at which time theWinner will be chosen by a panel to receive the Grand Prize.

If a Winner is selected by the Promoter, the Winner will be contacted by phone or email within 24 hours of the submissions closing. The Winner and his/her companion must be available to travel to Las Vegas on 13 April and stay for six (6) nights. The Winner must provide any documentation and assistance reasonably requested by the Promoter in order for the Promoter to facilitate the Grand Prize (eg. To make necessary travel arrangements).

If the selected Winner cannot be contacted within 24 hours of selection, does not provide reasonable documentation and assistance, is notable to travel on the specified dates, or otherwise does not meet all of these rules, an alternate Winner may be selected and notified. Under no circumstances may a Winner transfer their participation to another person.

Where the Promoter chooses two Finalists, the Finalist(s) will be contacted by phone or email within 24 hours of the submissions closing. TheFinalists and their companions must be able to fly to Sydney for one night (if required) on 12 April 2014 at the Promoter’s expense and be willing and able to appear on national television in Sydney on 13 April 2014. One (1) of the two Finalists will be selected as the Winner by a team of judges on the show using the Judging Criteria detailed above.

Following notification of selection as a Finalist, the Finalist(s)must immediately provide any documents and assistance reasonably requested by the Promoter in order for the Promoter to facilitate the Grand Prize (in the event that the Finalist is successful).

If a selected Finalist cannot be contacted within 24hours of selection, does not provide reasonable documentation and assistance,is not able to travel on the specified dates, or otherwise does not meet all of these rules, an alternate Finalist may be selected and notified or any Finalist who has met all rules may be deemed to be the Winner. Under no circumstances may a Finalist transfer their participation to another person.

At the time of the television appearance on 13 April 2014, bothFinalists and their companions must be in a position whereby they are able to take the Grand Prize (eg. are available and able to travel to Las Vegas on 13 April 2014 for six (6) nights).

When taking part in this selection process,spending money, meals, additional activities and any other ancillary costs,including but not limited to insurance and any applicable insurance excesses are the responsibility of each Finalist and their companion (where applicable),as incurred.

EntryRestrictions:
Entrants must be:

· 18 years of age or over;

· a citizen of Australia;

· in possession of a valid Australian driver’s licence;

· in possession of a valid passport; and

· eligible to obtain entry into the United States of America (USA).

Competition Summary:

From 6:00pm AESDT Tuesday 18th March 2014 to11:59pm AEST on Friday 4th April 2014, eligible members of the public will be invited to submit an entry (consisting of a photograph or avideo) to the Promotion Website which describes: in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Mustang: What is Australia’s ‘Route 66’ and where would you drive the new Mustang?

At the end of the Competition Period, entries will be judged by the Promoter. The Promoter may, in its sole discretion:

· choose a Winner to receive the GrandPrize (as described below); or

· choose two (2) Finalists who will appear on national television on or about 13 April 2014 at which time one (1) winner will be chosen to receive the Grand Prize.

Conditions ofEntry:

By submitting an entry, in the form of a video or a photo, the entrant grants the Promoter a non-exclusive worldwide, royalty-free license to use, copy, display publically, any materials, including without limitation video and photo material, submitted in connection with the entry.Each entrant hereby represents that they own all rights to materials, including without limitation video and photo material, submitted in connection with their entry.

Without limiting any other terms herein, the entrant agrees to indemnify the Promoter for any breach of the above terms.

1.1.6the video or photo do not infringe upon the copyright, trademark, contract rights, or any other intellectual property rights of any third person or entity, or violate any person’s rights of privacy or publicity, and the text and photo do not prominently include trademarks owned by third parties; copyrighted materials owned by third parties; names, likenesses, voices or other characteristics identifying celebrities or other public figures, living or dead.

2.3. Entry into the competition is free and no purchase is necessary to enter or be selected as a Finalist or the Winner.

At the end of the Competition Period, each valid entry will be individually judged (by representatives of the Promoter) based on, among other things, the entrant’s creativity, originality and how interesting and unexpected their entry is. Entries will be uploaded on the promotional Facebook app and members of the public will be able to ‘like’ each entry submitted. Judges will also consider how many likes each entry receives. The number of likes by each entry will not be the only factor in determining the Finalist(s) or Winner (and therefore, the entries that receive the highest number of public likes or the most public interaction will not necessarily be selected).

Grand Prize Details:

The Grand Prize is valued at twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000). The prize values are based on recommended prices as at the commencement of the competition.

The Grand Prize consists of: return airfares for economy tickets for two (2) to Las Vegas from the Winner’s closest capital city (except where two (2) Finalists are chosen to appear on national television in which case the return airfares will be fromSydney), all transfers, visas/entry paperwork, six (6) nights of accommodation in a hotel in Las Vegas, attendance at the Ford Anniversary celebrations on 17April (location to be determined), Grand Canyon Sunset Helicopter tour withDinner, and two thousand ($2,000) spending money.

The Promoter takes no responsibility for loss or injury suffered by theWinner of Finalist(s), or his/her companion as a result of taking a prize except as required by law. The Promoter recommends that the Winner andFinalist(s) (and their companions, where applicable) have valid insurance to participate in the prize.
