Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18 and over, who can attend the event between 25 July 2014 to 27th July 2014. Employees of the Promoter, and their immediate families and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.

The promotion commences at 00:01am (AEST) on July 10, 2014 and closes at 9:00am (AEST) on July 14, 2014 (“Promotional Period”). The judging will take place at the Promoter’s premises beginning on July 14, 2014. The judging will be done by a panel of judges appointed by the Promoter. The winner will be notified by telephone and in writing using the contact details provided in their entry.

To enter, individuals must , during the Promotional Period, go to http://www.shoptilyoudrop.com.au/win and follow the prompts to entry form and complete the entry form including their full name, address, current email address, daytime contact telephone number and answer to the competition question in twenty-five (25) words or less “Which act you most want to see at Splendour and why?” and submit the entry as instructed

The judges may select additional reserve entries which they determine to be the next best, and record them in order of merit, in case of an invalid entry or ineligible entrant.

This is a game of skill, chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged based on its literary and creative merit of the answer to the question provided. The judges’ decision in relation to any aspect of the competition will be final and binding on every person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into.

The Entrant warrants to the Promoter that the entry submitted is an original artistic work of the Entrant that does not infringe the rights of any third parties. If the entry or any part of the information provided to the Entrant in relation to the entry was provided by a third party, the Entrant warrants that they have obtained the relevant copyright permission to submit the entry for the purposes of this promotion. The entrant agrees to indemnify the promoter against all claims and costs by third parties arising from a breach of the warranty set out in this condition.

The Promoter is entitled to use any of the entries submitted in any manner and for any purpose at its absolute discretion, including using the entries for future promoter’s or their agents book publications, promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment or other compensation to the entrant. The promoter is entitled to amend, edit, select, crop, retouch, add to or delete from any part of the submitted entry.

Entries must not be offensive, defamatory or racist. Any entry which the judges deem inappropriate will be invalid. The entrant agrees to indemnify the Promoter.

The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

The best (1) entry, as determined by the judges, will be deemed the major prize winner and will win the following prize:

Total prize pool value is up to AU$3000.00 (including taxes) (depending on point of departure). Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable, exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.

If the winner resides NSW within 250 kilometres from Ballina or the Gold Coast, the flight component of the prize will not be included and the winner will be required to make their own travel arrangements to the Byron Bay. The cost of this travel will be the responsibility of the winner and not The Promoter. Cash or any other prize will not be awarded in lieu of the flights.

The prize must be redeemed in full and as a package between 25th July 2014 to 27th July 2014. at North Byron parklands to coincide with the Splendour in the Grass music festival. In the event that for any reason whatsoever the prize is not redeemed by this date, the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash, nor any other prize will be awarded in lieu of the prize being forfeited.

The Promoter is neither responsible nor liable for any loss or damage suffered in the event that the Splendour in the Grass music festival is postponed, cancelled, rescheduled or relocated for any reason whatsoever.

The two (2) tickets to the Splendour in the Grass music festival includes 2 tickets only. Any meals and drinks (unless specified) are at the expense of winner. (The tickets are general admission only and does not include the winner being able to walk the red carpet or participation in any initiation only or restricted access components of the event).

The Splendour in the Grass music festival tickets are subject to the event venue and ticket terms and conditions, including any applicable age restriction. The Promoter and event organisers hereby expressly reserve the right to eject the winner (and/or his/her companion) for any inappropriate behaviour, including but not limited to intoxication, whilst participating in any element of the prize.

The winner and their guest must not engage in any illegal or unsafe behaviour whilst participating in the prize. To the extent allowable by law, the Promoter and its partners exclude any legal liability or responsibility for legal or otherwise incidents or activities engaged in by the winner or their guest during participation in the prize.

The winner (and their companion) are responsible for all other expenses including spending money, meals (unless specified), drinks, transfers (unless specified), laundry charges, activities (unless specified), incidentals, energy surcharges, gratuities, services charges, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs. Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions all other expenses (including travel to and from the departure point and travel to the festival each day) become the responsibility of the winner.

The two (2) flights must be utilized at the same time, for the same travel dates, to the same destination for the specified redemption date of July 25- 27, 2014.

Transport to and from Departure point including but not limited to additional Domestic airfares if required, any additional meals, any extra sightseeing or activities, any additional accommodation, personal spending money, and all other ancillary costs, as well as obtaining any of these, are the responsibility of the winner and their travel companions. Prize also excludes medical expenses, items of a personal nature, beverages, optional tours not outlined, laundry, telephone calls, additional nights, room upgrades or other ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prize other than those specified. These costs and expenses are the responsibility of the winner. Any extension to the duration of the prize is at the winner’s sole expense and subject to availability at the time of booking. For the removal of doubt, taxes for domestic travel are included in the prize winning domestic airfares provided by the Promoter.

All prize items are valued inclusive of GST and the Promoter takes no responsibility for any variations in item values. The components of the Prize may alter for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control. The Prize is not, nor any component thereof, transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. No components of the Prize can be exchanged for other travel or accommodation at other destinations. In the event that any prize item is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize item of equal or greater value. Any taxes (other than GST, if any) which may be payable as a consequence of a winner receiving the prize are the sole responsibility of the Winner.

As a condition of accepting the prize, the winner (and their companions) must sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter and/or prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.

Cancelation and/or changes to the booking will incur additional fees payable by the winner. The Prize will be sent to the winner’s nominated email address.

In the event that for any reason whatsoever the Winner does not take the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize will be forfeited by the Winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize.
