1. Instructions on how to claim form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Offer not valid in conjunction with any other offer, unless otherwise advised.
2. Entries are only open to Australian residents. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, participating retailers and agencies associated with this competition are ineligible to claim. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister or 1st cousin.
3. Competition commences on 19 February 2014 and finishes on 31 March 2014 (“Promotional Period”). Final online claims close/last mail submitted by midnight 31 March 2014.
4. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed or misdirected, or for illegible entries.
5. To enter, entrants must go online to www.raa.com.au/flatmate and enter their details on the appropriate page.
6. Entrants must tick ‘Yes’ to having read the Terms and Conditions on the website.
7. Entrants must tell RAA in 25 words or less, “their flat battery story?” when submitting their online entry.
8. One (1) winner will be selected from this competition to win a $1,000.00 RAA travel voucher and a set of 3 Antler Liquis suitcases (Navy in colour), maximum RRP $1,500.00. Total prize pool is $2,500.00.
9. Entries will be judged on Wednesday 2 April 2014 at 10:00AM at RAA Head Office, 101 Richmond Road Mile End.
10. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners.
11. Winners will be notified by phone or email and will be published on the RAA website by 8 April 2014.
12. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including a entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
13. Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
14. Multiple entries are not permitted.
15. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
16. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
17. It is the responsibility of the entrant to provide the correct details for the delivery address.
18. The prize is not exchangeable for cash or any other goods.
19. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible or liable for:
(i) inaccurate / incorrect transcription of entry information;
(ii) purported entries that are not received for any reason, including because they are lost, misdirected or stolen, or that are received, but are late, illegible, incomplete, sent with insufficient postage (where entry is by post), or sent other than as directed in the entry instructions;
(iii) any problems or technical failures of any kind, including malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems or network, servers or providers, computer equipment, or software;
(iv) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any service whether or not caused by traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website;
(v) unauthorised human intervention in any part of the competition;
(vi) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the competition;
(vii) any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property and including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter, or its servants or agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to a prize winner and, where applicable, to any family/persons accompanying a winner; or
(viii) any injury or damage to persons or property, including to the participant’s or any other person’s computer related to, or resulting from, participation or downloading any materials in this competition.
20. The promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
