B 105 – $50K Alphabucks – Win a major prize of $50,000 cash OR 1 of 20 minor prizes

The Promoter may amend the Promotional Period in accordance with state legislative rules.

Contesting Period:

Dates Daily, from 25 Sep 2023 to 30 Oct 2023 (including public holidays).

Times between 6am – 3pm AEDT.

Entry is only open to residents of QLD.

How to Enter:

To enter, entrants must on a Contesting Day:

1. Listen to B105 and call the station competition line following the broadcast of a cue to call.

2. Be selected by the Promoter as a Contestant in accordance with the Judging Details to take part in an on-air contest:

i. The Contestant will be given a letter of the alphabet which all their answers must start with.

ii. The Contestant will then be given 10 questions to answer in thirty (30) seconds. The Promoter will only accept the Contestant’s first answer to each question and a Contestant cannot use the same answer twice.

iii. The Contestant can pass on a question at any time and come back to it after the last question if there is time remaining.

iv. If the Contestant answers between one (1) and nine (9) questions correctly within the time frame, they will not receive a prize, however their score and time will be recorded should there not be 10 Finalists
determined for the $50K Day Event.

v. If the Contestant answers all ten (10) questions correctly within the time frame (as determined by the Promoter), they will win a Minor Prize and will become a Finalist for the $50K Day Event.

In event that fewer than ten (10) Contestants are determined Major Prize Winners during the Contesting Period as outlined above, the Promoter reserves the right to enter the next best performing Contestants to the $50K Day Event to make 10 Contestants, who will also be determined Finalists (i.e. Contestants who scored nine (9) answers correctly the quickest).

These additional participants will not be awarded a Minor Prize.

All Finalists will be invited to the $50K Day Event and must confirm their attendance no later than 4:00pm AEDT on 30 October
2023. If an entrant has not confirmed their attendance by this time, the Promoter will determine this entrant invalid and their
invitation to the $50K Day Event will be revoked.

$50K Day Event:

1. All Finalists must attend the Event and follow instructions as provided by the Promoter.

2. Each Finalist will be lined up in the order of how fast they were able to answer 10 questions correctly in their previous contest.

3. Alphabucks will be played in this order as per the rules above in 2 until a winner is determined and the Major Prize is awarded (i.e. if all entrants have participated and there is no winner, the game will continue to be played in the same order until the Major Prize is awarded).

The first Finalist who is able to do so will be deemed the Major Prize Winner.
