This competition is being conducted by United Discount Chemists (UDC), ABN (50 116 361 776) of 7 Comley Street EXPORT PARK SA 5950.
ELIGIBILITY:
To be eligible for this Contest, an individual must be a legal resident of Australia, residing in South Australia, Queensland, New South Wales, Northern Territory, Western Australia or Victoria.
Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, their related bodies corporate and companies or agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to win this promotion.
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who the Promoter believes either has tampered with the entry process or has submitted an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry.
COMPETITION TIMELINE:
Contest Period / Entry Stage: 08:00 Thursday, August 14, 2014 – 18.00 on Wednesday, September 3, 2014
Winners will be notified by phone on Friday September 12, 2014.
Winner details will be announced on the UDC Facebook page on Friday, September 12 and winners names will be published in The Advertiser, the NT News and Sydney Morning Herald on Monday September 15, 2014.
HOW TO ENTER:
Visit a UDC store and spend $50 or more (excludes prescription items and scheduled drugs) in one transaction during the competition period.
Upon purchasing the entrant will receive a receipt, which includes a unique order number on it. Retain this receipt.
Visit the UDC website and access the competition via the entry form. Alternatively enter in store via an entry form.
Fill in either of the entry forms including your unique receipt number.
Alternatively, the store may provide you with a card with a unique code that you can use to enter your details.
LIMITATION TO ENTRY:
To be eligible to enter this competition you must spend over $50 (excluding prescription items and scheduled drugs) during the competition period.
There is a limit of one (1) entry per unique code number during the Contest Period.
Withdrawal of Entry: If an entrant submits an entry and later wishes to have it removed from, or not posted to the intended contest, they should contact UDC on (08) 8154 0500 during business hours.
All website entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promoter’s database NOT the time of transmission by the entrant.
PRIZE:
A Prize Winner will be awarded for each of the 38 UDC locations TBC.
The Winner of the competition for each store will receive the below;
· A $1,000 BP Gift Card
The total prize pool for this competition is 38 prizes x $1,000 = $38,000
Each winner will receive their prize via registered post to the address they supplied at time of entry. Photo ID will be required as proof of identity. Presentation of the receipt with the winning unique code will be required for proof of purchase.
The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a consequence of the use and enjoyment of the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility if the event is cancelled, or the date is re-scheduled for any reason whatsoever. If the prize or any part of the prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoters’ control, the Promoter will endeavour but is not obliged to provide a substitute prize of equivalent value.
Use of the BP Gift Card is subject to the terms and conditions stated on the BP Gift Cards or on the BP Australia website www.bp.com.au/giftcardterms. All BP Gift Cards are not exchangeable, transferable or redeemable for cash.
WINNER SELECTION:
The winners will be selected via manual draw. There will be one draw per store i.e. 38 separate draws. The draw will take place on Friday September 12 2014 at 3pm at Scaffidi Group (7 Comley Street, Export Park, 5950).
Once the Prize Winners have been selected they will be notified by a phone call.
Winners names will be published in The Advertiser, the NT News and Sydney Morning Herald on Monday September 15, 2014.
The decision of the judges is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions or any instructions or directions on this site, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the competition. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
Entrants are required to provide truthful information, and the Promoter will reject and delete any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent.
Any costs associated with accessing the promotional website are the entrant’s responsibility and are dependent on the Internet service provider used. Any contact details entered incorrectly on the website will deem the entry to be invalid.
All entries and information from entries become the property of the Promoter.
