Entrants must be aged eighteen (18) years and over.
Entrants must be the registered owner of the home in which their “DIY disaster” is located.
To enter, entrants must, during the Contesting Period, visit the Website, register their details, answer in 25 words or less “What is your DIY disaster story?” and submit a photograph of their DIY disaster.
The Promoter will judge entries to determine two winners in accordance with Judging Details below.

Location: 2DAY FM of Level 15, 50 Goulburn Street, Sydney NSW 2000
Judging Criteria: Entries will be judged based on creativity, suitability, literary merit and originality.
Throughout the Promotional Period, the Promoter may at their absolute discretion contact some Entrants either via phone call and/or in writing, to further discuss the details of that person’s Entry. Any contact is not indicative of an Entrant’s standing in the competition, and does no way indicate whether or not that Entrant has been selected as a Contestant/Finalist/Winner.
All decisions of Judging are at the discretion of the Promoter and no correspondence will be entered into in this regard.

Prize Details

A visit from a tradesperson selected by the Promoter to repair the entrant’s DIY disaster.

Up to $5,000 each. disaster.

Notification of Winners

Winners will be notified telephone within 2 days of being determined.
Additional Terms
Winners will be required to sign an indemnity form prior to claiming their prize.
Winners acknowledge that prize fulfilment requires a tradesperson to enter their home to conduct repairs to the “DIY disaster” nominated by the entrant when entering the Promotion. The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage caused to the winner’s property or person in connection with prize fulfilment.
Each winner must supply “after” photographs of the tradesperson’s completed repair work by 7 March 2014. Each winner agrees that these photographs will be displayed on the website www.tradierescue.com.au and will be compared with another tradesperson’s repair work for the other winner in the Promotion. By entering this Promotion, entrants agree that these photographs will be used in additional promotions which will be open to public vote.
The Promoter will, at their complete discretion, select a suitable tradesperson to complete each winner’s repair work. Entrants agree that the Promoter has the complete discretion to deem that the “DIY disaster” has been repaired.
The Promoter will cover the reasonable cost of labour and materials required for repairs, up to a value of $5,000. The winner must cover any additional costs. The Promoter will arrange for payment to be made to the tradesperson directly and the winner will receive no cash as part of the prize.
Each winner must provide the Promoter with at least two photographs of the progression of repair work throughout the week commencing 3 March 2014.
