Terms and Conditions
1) Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry. Entry into
the promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. Headings in this
document are included for ease of reference, and do not affect interpretation in any
way.
2) The promoter is Jetstar Airways Pty Limited (ABN 33 069 720 243) of79 Victoria
Parade Collingwood, Melbourne, VIC 3066, telephone 03 8628 3400. (Promoter).
Duration
3) The promotion commences 11:59am (AEDT) on Thursday 23 January 2014 and closes
at 11:59am (AEDT) on Thursday 20 February 2014 (Promotion Period).
Eligibility to enter
4) Entry is open only to Australian residents aged 15 years and under (Eligible Entrants),
excluding directors, management, employees (including their immediate family
members) of the Promoter and its related bodies corporate and registered travel
companions of employees of the Promoter and its related bodies corporate.
5) Eligible Entrants must obtain the prior permission of a parent or guardian to enter
6) Before they can redeem their prize the winner must obtain consent from their parent or
legal guardian to do so, and must be accompanied during their prize travel by an
Australian or New Zealand resident over the age of 18.
Entry into the promotion
7) To enter, Eligible Entrants must during the Promotion Period:
a) obtain an entry form containing the Jetstar boarding pass template which
can be downloaded from www.jetstar.com/au/en/letyourartflycomp (Website);
b) prepare a free-hand drawing of what ‘holidays’ means to them on the
template of a Jetstar boarding pass (Drawing). The coloured Drawing must fit within
the bordered area of the Jetstar boarding pass template and must include the colour
orange;
c) fill in all details on the entry form, including the name of the Eligible Entrant
and their parent or legal guardian. The Eligible Entrant’s name, guardian or parent’s
name, home address, email, age and contact number has to be entered on the
‘particulars’ column on the entry form, with the terms and conditions of the competition
accepted; and
d) ensure the completed entry is received by the Promoter, during the Promotion
Period by submitting it via mail to Jetstar Boarding Pass Competition, Jetstar
Marketing team, 79 Victoria Parade Collingwood, Melbourne, VIC 3066.
8) Eligible Entrants are not restricted to one entry only and are eligible to enter more than
once.
9) Eligible Entrants assign to Jetstar all existing and future intellectual property rights
(including copyright) in their boarding pass design entry. Without limiting the foregoing,
Eligible Entrants consent to any use of their Drawing in whatever form by Jetstar and
any other Jetstar branded airlines, including without limitation, that if their Drawing is
the winning Drawing, it will be replicated on the back of the boarding pass to be issued
for Jetstar Airways (JQ) flights departing selected airports during school holiday periods
in 2014 at the discretion of the Promoter. Eligible Entrants agree to not assert any of
their moral rights anywhere in the world, meaning they consent to any alteration or
deletion from their Drawing, and agree to any use of the Drawing which does not
identify them as the author and/or may attribute ownership to another person. Jetstar
and its related bodies corporate and any party it assigns or licences the Drawing to can
use and modify the Drawing whenever and however they want without mentioning the
Eligible Entrant’s name when using their Drawing.
10) The Promoter is not responsible for any lost, late or misdirected entries.
11) Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
12) The time of entry will be deemed to be the time the entry is received by the Promoter.
13) The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and Eligible
Entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify
any entrant who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the promoter to enforce
any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
Judging of entries

Entries will be judged based on their creativity
15) Judging will take place at 11.00am (AEDT), 21 February 2014 at the offices of Jetstar
Airways: 79 Victoria Parade Collingwood, Melbourne, 3066
16) The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Chance plays
no part in determining the winner.
The prize
17) There will be one major prize and three consolidation prizes. The maximum total prize
value is AUD $2,500, based on the recommended retail value at the time of printing.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of prizes.
18) The first prize is an AUD $1000 Jetstar travel and holiday voucher and will be awarded
to the most creative Drawing. Three consolation prizes of AUD $500 Jetstar travel and
holiday vouchers will be awarded to the following 3 most creative Drawings (excluding
the Drawing that wins the major prize) each from the age categories of 6 years and
under, between 7 years and 11 years inclusive, and between 12 and 15 years inclusive.
19) The vouchers will be issued in the name of the parent or guardian of the winning
Eligible Entrants provided as part of the entry. The following conditions will apply in
respect of the voucher:

Vouchers can be used to book both flights and holiday products available on jetstar.com or
through the Jetstar Contact Centre at the time you redeem the voucher, up to the value stated.
You must redeem in one booking only and the person names on the voucher must be listed
as the booking contact or be a passenger on the booking.
(a) ‘How to use this Voucher’ forms part of these Voucher Terms & Conditions. (b) Booking dates will be
strictly applied. Your booking must be made or changed through Jetstar.com or Jetstar Contact Centre
before the Expiry Date, for Jetstar Holidays products only (excluding insurance and car hire) for travel
commenced and completed within 6 months from the Issue Date. If you do not redeem this Voucher
within this timeframe this Voucher will expire and you will lose the value of this Voucher. If you redeem
this Voucher but later change your booking on a date after the Expiry Date, you will lose the value of this
Voucher. This Voucher was created on the Issue Date and expires on the Expiry Date as noted above.
The 3 month booking period is calculated as 92 days from the Issue Date and the 6 month travel period
is calculated as 183 days from the Issue Date. (c) All travel is subject to availability at the time of
booking, the fare rules quoted at the time of booking and the Jetstar Conditions of Carriage
(http://www.jetstar.com/au/en/conditions-of-carriage) and Jetstar Holidays Booking Conditions
(http://www.jetstar.com/au/en/holidays/holidays-conditions) (applicable when holiday products are
purchased). Where flights are included as part of a Jetstar Holidays package, the standard Jetstar fare
and bundle rules apply according to the fare or fare with bundle selected when booking. Limited
changes are permitted, charges apply and unless otherwise stated, airfares are non-refundable. See
