Everyday Rewards Sydney Royal Easter Show competition – Terms & Conditions of Entry

The Everyday Rewards Sydney Royal Easter Show competition (the “Promotion”) is a promotion conducted under the other benefits component of the Everyday Rewards Program.

1. Information on how to enter the Promotion and a description of the prizes that may be won in the Promotion form part of these Terms & Conditions of Entry. Participation in the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions of Entry. Entries not complying with these Terms & Conditions of Entry are ineligible and the Promoter reserves its absolute right to disqualify any Cardholder from the Promotion if any entries do not comply with these Terms & Conditions of Entry.

2. The Promotion is open to registered Everyday Rewards customers living in NSW who enter by clicking on the link featured in the Sydney Royal Easter Show competition email. Entry into the Promotion is free. Directors, management and employees Salmat Digital Pty Ltd and its agencies directly associated with this Promotion are ineligible to enter.

These Terms & Conditions of Entry will be displayed at everydayrewards.com.au at the commencement of the Promotion.

3. Definitions within this Promotion:

Card -means an Everyday Rewards Card issued by the Promoter as part of the Everyday Rewards Program

Cardholder -means means a person who holds an Everyday Rewards Card, and who is Registered according to the Everyday Rewards Program database.

Promoter -means The Promoter and permit holder is Woolworths Ltd (ABN 88 000 014 675), 1 Woolworths Way, Bella Vista, 2153, NSW.

Promotion -means the Sydney Royal Easter Show promotion governed by these Terms & Conditions of Entry and conducted as a promotion under the Other benefits component of the Everyday Rewards Program.

Promotional Period -means 12:01 AEDST 26 March 2014 to 23:59 AEDST 30 March 2014.

Registered -means that all mandatory Cardholder information has been correctly completed in the legal name of the Cardholder, according to the Everyday Rewards database.

4. Entries for the prize draw close at 11:59pm AEDST on Sunday 30 March, 2014.

5. To enter the Promotion, click on the featured link in the Sydney Royal Easter Show competition email to receive an automatic entry into the draw. There is a limit of one entry being recorded for each registered Everyday Rewards cardholder during the Promotional Period.

6. Prize winners will be determined by an automated random draw of all valid entries. Prize draws will take place at 12 noon AEDST on Monday 31 March 2014. The prize draws will take place at Salmat Digital Pty Ltd, Level 2, 116 Miller Street, North Sydney, NSW 2060.

7. The first 5 (five) valid entries randomly drawn will be the winners. Winners will be notified by phone within 2 days of the draw and will have their first initial, surname and state published on the Everyday Rewards website within 2 days of the determination of the winners. If the winning entry is invalid, that entry will be discarded and the prize will be awarded by randomly drawing another entry in accordance with these Terms & Conditions of Entry.

8. Each prize comprises of:

A Family package to the Royal Easter Show event in Sydney for one day between 10 April 2014 and 23 April 2014. Each package includes:

1 x Family Pass (2 adults + 2 child entry tickets to the Show)
The Top 5 Show bags for the 2014 Sydney Royal Easter Show, as chosen by show organisers
$50 voucher valid at various Food Outlets at the Sydney Royal Easter Show

There are 5 (five) prizes to be won.

Each prize is valued at $280

The total prize pool is $1,400

Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

9. If a winner does not claim their prize within 3 days from the date of determination of that winner, their entry will be deemed invalid and the Promoter may conduct such further draws at the same place as the original draws as are necessary. The unclaimed prize draw will take place at 12:00 noon AEDST on Friday 4 April 2014 at Salmat Digital Pty Ltd, Level 2, 116 Miller Street, North Sydney, NSW 2060.

If in the case of an unclaimed prize draw, winners will be contacted by phone within 2 days and will have their details published on the Everyday Rewards website www.everydayrewards.com.au on 7 April 2014.

10. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from winning of the prizes. Independent financial advice should be sought.

11. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify all entries from any Cardholder who is in breach of the Terms & Conditions of Entry or the Terms and Conditions of the Everyday Rewards Program or who manipulates, seeks to manipulate or benefits from manipulating, the entry process or the Promotion.

12. The Promoter and its agencies and companies associated with this Promotion will not be liable for any loss (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), damage or personal injury which is suffered or sustained (including without limitation to that caused by any person’s negligence) relating to the Promotion or the awarding or taking of the prizes except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case liability is limited to the minimum amount allowable by law).

13. The Promoter may use any personal information that a Cardholder has provided to it as part of the Everyday Rewards Program for the purpose of running the Promotion, and also in advertisements, publications, media statements and other promotional material associated with the Promotion. For purposes of public statements and advertisements the Promoter will only publish the winner’s surname and initial The Promoter may disclose the information for those purposes to its related bodies corporate and contractors. Unless the Cardholder has opted-out of communication within their Registration, the Promoter may use personal information a Cardholder has provided to send the Cardholder information about Woolworths’ products and services (including via electronic means), and may disclose the information to its related bodies corporate, agencies and contractors (including call centers, advertising agencies and direct mail houses) the Promoter engages for that purpose. 14. In the event there is a dispute concerning the conduct of the Promotion, the decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
