Select a travel category out of ‘Luxurious Oman, ‘Arabian Adventure’ and ‘Ancient Culture’, then enter your details (name, email, phone, date of birth & state) online and refer at least one other person with a valid email by following the prompts on the competition page to go in the draw. You must make sure you have consent of your friends to send the referral email. Each additional email referral earns you a bonus entry into the prize draw, for example, if you refer 11 friends to the competition via email using the form at www.webjet.com.au/win/oman then you will receive 11 entries into the competition, refer 20 via email and you gain 20 entries etc.

By providing your name, email address, phone number, date of birth & state, you may opt-in to the Webjet’s marketing database to receive regular offers and promotions from Webjet, by ticking the ‘Please add me to Webjet’s e-newsletter and keep me up to date with the latest travel deals’ option. Conditions of entry

1. Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of these conditions of entry.
2. Entry is limited to residents of Australia over the age of 18 years except employees of the Promoter and its agencies associated with this promotion and their immediate families.
3. This is a game of chance.
4. Should an entrant’s contact details change during the Promotion Period, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify The Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to The Promoter.

Prize Conditions

• The prize must be taken in full by 31 October 2015 and is subject to hotel and flight availability.
• Blackout dates apply from 5 – 15 October 2014, 1 November 2014 – 22 March 2015 and 15 June – 15 August 2015. The ticket is subject to space being available in relevant sub-class and travel during peak periods and embargo periods may be restricted. This also includes, but is not limited to peak periods, July and August, the Christmas/New Year public holidays and national school holidays, and cannot be changed once the booking has been made
• The winner will be responsible for making the necessary arrangements for the prize, as detailed upon winner notification.
• Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions all other expenses become the responsibility of the winner.
• During the accommodated stay, any damages and additional expenses not covered unless expressly specified above are the responsibility of the winner and their companion.
• Accommodation black-out dates for The Shangri-La includes: 1 – 8 April 2015 and 24 – 31 September 2015.
• The winner and their companion may be asked to provide credit card details at the hotel at time of accommodation check in.
• If for any reason the prize, or any element of the prize, becomes unavailable for any reason, which is out of The Promoter’s control then a similar element to equal value, will be awarded in lieu subject to the Relevant State Authorities.

The Flights

• Flights are return economy class tickets from Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane Perth or Adelaide (as applicable) to Oman flying with Oman Air.
• Departure points are Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, on Oman Air’s interline partners, Malaysia Airways and Thai Airways services into Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok. If departing Adelaide, this is only via Kuala Lumpur on Malaysia Airways and overnight in Kuala Lumpur will apply, with additional costs excluded (not covered by the promoter) and into Muscat on Oman Air services. Airfares subject to availability of services on Oman Air and its interline partners (Malaysia Airways and Thai Airways). Oman Air doesn’t absorb the cost of long transit time if any.
• If the winner does not reside in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane Perth or Adelaide, it will be the responsibility of the winner (and their companion) to organise travel to the departure point. Any ancillary costs in doing so will be at the expense of the winner (and their companion).
• Flights must be booked by 28 February 2015.
• Travel must be on Oman Air services only and completed by 31 October 2015 with no further extensions.
• Travel is for a period of no more than 60 days and any tickets which remain unused after the expiry date shall be deemed null and void.

• Prize is inclusive of airfare taxes. Tickets are non-transferable, non-refundable and non-redeemable for cash or other goods or services. Name change, ticket transfer, not permitted. Refund restrictions would apply. Changes subject to fees and availability.
• The following costs are to be borne by the passenger: travel insurance, additional accommodation, excess baggage charges, meals, all taxes, levies and surcharges, and any other travel related expenses unless stated otherwise.
• Passengers who are unable to make the flight will forfeit the prize tickets.
• Bookings must be made at least 30 days prior to travel.
• Flights have maximum validity of 6 months form the date of departures.
• The winner and their companion may not use ‘Frequent Flyer’ points from any airline on the travel prize and cannot upgrade any travel prize using ‘Frequent Flyer’ points.
• Any tickets which remain unused after the expiry date shall be deemed null and void.
• Winner and passenger must travel together.

Prize Details

(a) Two (2) x return economy class tickets from $1,750 per person (as applicable) to Oman flying with Oman Air. Total value for two (2) x return economy class tickets from valued at $3,500.
(b) The winners’ choice of one (1) of the Oman Experience themed tour / experience packages; Luxurious Oman OR Arabian Adventure OR Ancient Culture.
a. Luxury: Value is $2,650 per person: this includes 3 nights at Al Husn Deluxe Room (Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Spa & Resort); 2-Chi Spa Treatments at Shangri-La; ½ day Muscat City Tour; ½ day Dolphin Cruise; 2 nights in a standard mountain view room at Alila Jabal Akhdar Spa & Resort; 2 x tours of Nizwa City & Hajar Mountains; and Return Airport Transfers. Total value for two (2): $5,300.
b. Adventure: Value is $1,854 per person, this includes: 3 nights at Al Waha Superior Room (Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Spa & Resort); ½ day Muscat City Tour; ½ Day Dolphin Cruise; ½ day Sur city tour including Dhow shipyards; 1 night in a Hamoor Room at Turtle Beach Resort; Turtle-watching tour; 1 night in single tent at Desert Nights Camp; 1hr camel trek in Wahiba Sands; and Return Airport Transfers. Total value for two (2): $3,708.
c. Ancient Cultures: Value is $2,016 per person, this includes: 3 nights at Al Bandar Deluxe Room (Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Spa & Resort), ½ day Muscat City Tour; ½ day Sunset Cruise; 2 nights in a terrace room at Sahab Resort; 1 x Nizwa City Tour; 1 x Hajar Mountains Tour; and Return Airport Transfers. Total value for two (2): $4,032.
(c) Return airport/hotel transfers included
(d) Total prize value is $8,800 including taxes.
5. Promotion commences at 12pm AEST 19 August 2014, and entries close at 11:59PM AEST 16 September 2014.
6. The winning entry will be drawn at midday 17 September 2014 at: Webjet Marketing Pty Ltd, Suite 2, Level 2, 509 St Kilda Rd Melbourne 3004.
7. Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter, in its absolute discretion, reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process.
8. When the opt-in option is selected at time of entry for the Webjet or Oman Tourism email marketing list, entering the competition automatically adds your details to the respective email list.
9. All prizes are not redeemable for cash or transferable in full or in part. All travel must be booked at one time prior to 28 February 2015. Once flights have been booked and flight tickets are issued (including e-tickets), the winner is responsible for any costs associated with subsequent itinerary changes, cancellations, amendments or other administration charges.
10. The prize winners will be contacted by the Promoter via phone and email on 17 September 2014 to the phone number and email address provided in the entry. Winners will be published in The Australian on the 23 September 2014.
11. All entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into Webjet’s database NOT time of transmission by the entrant.
12. It is the winner’s and their companion’s personal responsibility to ensure that they have valid documentation, including, but not limited to, valid passports and visas, which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be the sole responsibility of the winner and their companion.
13. Any costs in excess of the value of the Prize are the responsibility of the winner. Excess amounts will be paid by the winner in full at the time of booking flights prior to tickets being issued.
14. Every attempt will be made to contact the prize winner prior to the redraw. If the prize remains unclaimed after 90 days, the promoter will conduct a second chance draw at midday 17 December 2014 subject to regulatory authority. Any unclaimed draw winners will be notified via email. The second chance draw will be held at Webjet Marketing Pty Ltd, Suite 2, Level 2, 509 St Kilda Rd Melbourne 3004. The second chance winner will be notified directly in writing and published in The Australian on the 22 December 2014.
15. The winner and their companion are responsible for all other expenses including spending money, meals (unless specified), drinks, transfers (unless specified), laundry charges, activities (unless specified), incidentals, taxes (excluding airline and airport taxes) , energy surcharges, gratuities, services charges, passports, visas, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs. Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
16. The entrant releases from and indemnifies the Promoter against all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of the entrant’s participation in the Promotion, or breach of these terms and conditions, including (but not limited to) loss of income, personal injury and damage to property and whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise.
17. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by the entrant or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this competition, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this competition including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
18. In the event that for any reason whatsoever the winner does not take the prize, or an element of the prize, at the time stipulated by The Promoter then the prize, or that element of the prize, will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu.
19. No responsibility accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
20. If the opt-in option is selected at time of entry, the entrant consents to the personal information they submit with their entry being entered into the Promoter’s marketing database to be used for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment or other compensation to the entrant. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received by the Promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this competition.
