Who is the Promoter?
The Promoter is Coffs Harbour City Council trading as Coffs Coast. Located at
2 Castle Street, Coffs Harbour NSW 2450
What is the Competition?
1. ‘Tales of Coffs Coast Instashare Photo Competition’ is a skill-based competition. Competitors must load their
Instagram Photo along with their email address via the competition entry link, located in the bio section of
@coffscoastnsw Instagram page. The photo should include a caption and the competition hashtag #talesofcoffscoast
to qualify for the competition.
2. The winning entrant will be selected by the Promoter, based on the promoter’s preference of the entry that best
represents the Coffs Coast experience, according to the promoter.
3. The winning entry will be selected by a panel. The judging panel consists of representatives from Coffs Harbour
City Council and We Are Coast. The judges decision is final. The winning entry will be announced before 6 pm on 13
March 2020 and the winner will be contacted via email on 16 March 2020.
4. The promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram.
What are the Prize(s)?
1. The Coffs Coast Holiday prize includes flights that must be taken between May and August 2020.
2. The Family Prize (2 Adults and 2 Children) includes 4 nights accommodation and breakfast at Pacific Bay
Resort in Coffs Harbour. The prize includes a ‘Big Bunch of Fun’ pass at the Big Banana Fun Park, a $250
voucher at the Park Beach Surf Club Restaurant & Bar and a Soft Cheese workshop at The Cheesemaking
Workshop and Deli. The prize also includes a $1000 Tigerair Travel voucher for return flights. The prize must
be taken between from 1st May and the 31st August 2020. The prize is not valid for use at any other time.
The total prize is valued at $2995. Additional people, extra nightly charges and extra flight chargers must be
paid by the winner.
3. All vouchers and unused credit are non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash. Flight bookings are
subject to prevailing terms and conditions available on www.tigerair.com.au.
4. Tigerair Australia travel voucher is to the value of AUD$1000 and can be redeemed on Tigerair Australia (TT)
flights only. Voucher must be redeemed by 1st of August 2020 at 11:59pm (Australian Eastern Time).
5. Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-replaceable and non-redeemable for
cash. The flights must be taken in conjunction to the accommodation prize and can be used from any
national Tigerair flight. Each prize is for the promotion winners’ use only and cannot be handed / gifted /
sold to a third party.
Competition Time frame
The’Tales of Coffs Coast Instashare Photo Competition’ commences on 1 February with entry submissions closing at
6pm on 13 March 2020.
Entry Criteria
1. To enter, entrants must complete the ‘Tales of Coffs Coast Instashare photo Competition’, via the competition link
in the bio section on @coffscoastnsw, load their Instaphoto and caption the photo using the competition hashtag
#talesofcoffscoast.
2. Entry is open to Australian residents aged eighteen (18) years or over.
3. Multiple entries are not permitted.
4. Competition winners will be chosen from eligible entries that satisfy the promoters Destination ‘feel’.
5. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s
identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry.
6. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
7. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to
determine the identity of the entrant.
Eligible Entries
To be eligible for the competition entries must complete the following
1. The ‘photo’ must have been taken on the Coffs Coast since 1 Jan 2018. The Coffs Coast is defined as the
Coffs Harbour and Belingen Local Government areas.
2. The ‘photo’ can be of a location, a restaurant or attraction on the Coffs Coast.
3. The competition entry form must be completed in full including photo upload, photo caption and
competition hashtags. #talesofcoffscoast #sharecoffscoast
Costs and expenses
Entry to the ‘Tales of Coffs Coast Instashare photos Competition’ is free. Entrants are responsible for all expenses
that they incur in entering the competition and no reimbursement of any associated costs will occur, even when the
entry is chosen as the winning entry.
Intellectual property
1. Entrants will retain the copyright in their photos, including the moral rights of attribution and integrity. The author
of the winning photo will grant to Coffs Harbour City Council an exclusive, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use the
photo for the purpose for which it was created including use in the Tiger Tales Magazine and the instragram
accounts of the Promoter. Coffs Harbour City Council reserves the right to reproduce any or all of the entries, in
whole or in part, for archival or publication purposes.
2. Competition material submitted by entrants, subject to provisions of the copyright clause in this document, will
become the property of the Promoter and may be either physically or electronically archived, and may be publicly
exhibited.
3. The entrant warrants and agrees not to submit any photo, image or any other materials which constitutes a
breach of a third party’s privacy or infringement of a third party’s intellectual property rights including copyright or
trademark and the use by the Promoter material submitted by the entrant will not be in breach of any third party
intellectual property rights including copyright or trademark.
4.The entrant indemnifies the Promoter against any loss resulting from breach of these warranties.
Disqualification
The promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrants or entries where it reasonably suspects unlawful or
improper conduct, an infringement of a third party’s intellectual property rights and /or a breach of the competition
terms and conditions.
Privacy
1. The T&C should make it clear that the only the winners PI will be provided to the suppliers of the prize and the
entrants give their permission for their information to be provided. Only the winner’s PI will be provided to the
supplier.
2. Entries and entrant information will be collected and managed in accordance with the promoters Privacy
Statement and the provision of the Privacy & Personal Information Protection Act
Prize winner notification
1. The winners will be contacted before 6:00pm on 16 March 2020 via the email address provided in their
submission.
2. The winners Instaphoto and caption will be promoted in the Tiger Tales Magazine April/ May Ed and shared via
both Coffs Coast and Tiger Tales Insta feeds on 25 Mar 2020.
3. The Promoter reserves the right to select additional reserve entries and record them in case an invalid entry or
ineligible entrant is selected.
4. The prize must be claimed within 7 days. If the prize remains unclaimed by that date, the winner’s entry will be
deemed invalid and the Promoter reserves the right to distribute the prize to the next selected valid entry.
5. Winners must present sufficient proof of identity to satisfy the Promoter that they are one and the same person
as the Entrant. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole
discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
