Tap the button, wait for the cover template to load and then take a pic of your Ice-Cream Sandwiches.
Share your taste.com.au magazine cover on Facebook or Twitter*.
Include #tastemagcover in the message with your picture*.

Blippar is the best way to enter, but if you don’t have it, here are some other options.

Simply share a picture of your White Chocolate Trifle on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram*, using the hashtag #tastemagcover in the message. Or email a picture of your White Chocolate Trifle, along with your full name, address and phone number, to tastemag@news.com.au

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Information on how to enter and information on the prizes that may be won in the taste.com.au magazine Cook the Cover Competition (from the magazine’s December 2013 issue) form part of these terms and conditions.

2. Entry into this competition is deemed to be an acceptance of these terms and conditions.

3. To enter this competition, entrants must:

a) Cook the cover recipe from the December 2013 issue of taste.com.au magazine, White Chocolate Snowball & Strawberry Trifle, see the recipe on page 22 in the magazine).

b) Enter a picture of their version of the cover recipe, in ONE of the following ways:

i) Using the free Blippar app (http://blippar.com/download), entrants must:
1. Scan the magazine cover or page 24 using the Blippar app on their mobile phone;
2. Once the Blipp has activated, tap the button;
3. Take a picture of their version of the cover recipe using their mobile phone;
4. Select either Facebook or Twitter to share their picture;
5. Share their picture, making sure the hashtag “#tastemagcover” is included in the message that is posted with the picture. 
a. Before sharing their picture, entrants must ensure the privacy settings for their social media accounts are set to “public” to enable that picture to be viewed by anyone; otherwise the entry is not valid.

ii) Using the social media hashtag #tastemagcover, entrants can:
1. Share a picture of their version of the cover recipe across Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #tastemagcover.
a. Before sharing their picture, entrants must ensure the privacy settings for their social media accounts are set to “public” to enable that picture to be viewed by anyone; otherwise the entry is not valid.

iii) Entrants can submit their entry via email by emailing a picture of their version of the cover recipe, along with their full name, address and phone number, to tastemag@news.com.au

4. Entries open at 9:00am AEST on 2 December 2013 and close at 11:59pm AEST on 5 January 2013.

5. The entrant must own the copyright, or have express permission from the owner of the copyright, to use any photographs that form part of their entries in the manner contemplated by these terms and conditions.

6. Entry in this competition is open to Australian residents only (aged 18 years and over). Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, its related entities and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible.

7. There will be one overall winner, determined by taste.com.au magazine’s Food Director Michelle Southan based on the creativity and originality of the entries. Only amateur photography will be accepted and entry must be the work of the participant. The decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

8. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in it.

9. The competition will be judged on 8 January 2014 at 10am (AEST) at NewsLifeMedia, 180 Bourke Road, Alexandria NSW 2015. If a winner is under the age of 18 years the prize will be awarded to their parent or legal guardian.

10. The winner will be announced at http://www.taste.com.au/competitions/

11. The winner will also be notified by email or via social media, depending on the method of entry used by the winners to enter the competition. The winners must supply to the Promoter an Australian mailing address for the prize/s to be delivered by 3 February 2014. If the winner does not contact the Promoter by close of business on 3 February 2014, the winners are deemed to have forfeit the prize/s and another winner/s for the competition will be chosen based on the criteria set out in these terms and conditions.

12. By entering this competition, entrants consent to their entries in the form of photographs being published in taste.com.au magazine or any other publication as the Promoter determines. The entrant grants the Promoter a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to publish, produce, distribute and communicate the images of the original entry in taste.com.au magazine or any other publication as the Promoter determines, for the purpose of publicising and promoting the taste.com.au brand and taste.com.au competitions.

13. By accepting the prize, the winners agree to participate and cooperate as required in all editorial activities relating to this Cook the Cover competition
