The first valid entry drawn will win a trip for four (2) people nominated by the Entrant to Vancouver, thanks to STA Travel. This prize pack includes:
· Two (2) economy return flights with Air New Zealand from the nearest departure point – Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne to Vancouver, Canada
· Five (5) nights’ accommodation for two (2) people to be determined by STA Travel
· Two (2) Hop on Hop off Moose passes with 2 nights pre accommodation
· Three (3) nights’ accommodation
· One (1) Burton Bag from www.surfstitch.com
· $500 worth of Burton product from www.surfstitch.com
The winner must notify SurfStitch,com within 90 days of winning, which Burton Bag and RRP$500 worth Burton products they would like from SurfStitch.com. If for any reason the item(s) aren’t available on SurfStitch.com, the winner must substitute the product for another item(s) of the same value.
The winner and guests must book their flights and accommodation with STA Travel by the 31st of August 2014. Travel must be taken between 01SEP14-30JUN15 and travel not permitted between 15DEC14-15JAN15 or the prize will be automatically forfeited, subject to approval from relevant regulatory authorities. In the case of a redraw, the winner must book flights and accommodation prior to October 31st 2014 or the prize will be automatically forfeited, subject to approval from relevant regulatory authorities. Once flights are booked, winners will not be able to change any flights or accommodation. The winner and guests will need to make and pay for their own way to one of the above mentioned Australian departure points. Passengers with luggage over the Airline’s baggage weight limit specified on the ticket will incur the Airline’s standard fees. All ticketing is electronic and paper tickets will not be issued. Taxes are included. Prize is not changeable or redeemable for cash. The guests of the winner must be at least 18 years of age as at 31st of August 2014.
As of 2nd May 2014, the maximum Prize value for the Prize Package is $4,980 AUD. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the Prize value.
Prize Conditions
The Prize must be taken between must be taken between 01SEP14-30JUN15 and travel not permitted between 15DEC14-15JAN15, subject to booking and/or flight and accommodation availability. The Prize can only be used where adequate space is available and operators have reached minimum numbers.
Winner must complete the STA Travel standard booking procedure. All bookings must be made at least 30 days in advance of desired and available departure date. Once booked, any changes made to the booking may incur a cancellation or amendment fee, at the cost of the Winner and their travel guests.
Flights are subject to the fare rules and General Conditions of Carriage of the relevant carrier. The Winner is responsible for the payment of any applicable airline excess baggage fees or other fees, taxes and surcharges. The Winner and their guests will not be entitled to accrue frequent flyer points on the travel or accommodation. The Promoter and STA Travel are not responsible for any cancellation, delay or rescheduling of flights and any costs incurred as a result (including, without limitation, accommodation costs) will be the sole responsibility of the Winner.
Flights are strictly from the departure points within Australia specified above and return to these departure points.
Any extension to the duration of the Prize is at the Winner’s sole expense and subject to availability at the time of booking.
Additional spending money, meals, alcohol, taxes, gratuities/tips, insurance, passports, visas, vaccinations, transport to and from departure point, additional transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included in any prize.
The winners and their guests are responsible for ensuring that they have valid passports, and any requisite visas, vaccinations and travel documentation. Any costs associated in meeting these requirements are the responsibility of the prize winners. Travel insurance is not included and must be arranged prior to travel, at cost to the prize winner.
The winners and their guests must depart from and return to the same departure point and travel together.
Two (2) Caribou Hop-On Hop-Off passes and two (2) nights’ accommodation for two (2) people based on booking for travel between 01SEP14-10NOV14 or 01APR15-30JUN15 and bookings must be made at least 30 days before departure date to reserve a spot.
Three (3) nights of additional accommodation to the value of $500AUD is available for the winner, to be used either before or after the Hop-On Hop-Off passes are used. Accommodation must be with an STA Travel preferred supplier; requests can be made for specific accommodation but is subject to availability at time of booking.
All prize elements must be taken together or deemed forfeit.
Itineraries are to be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to approval from the relevant regulatory authorities.
The Winner and any guest must, as a condition of accepting the prize:
(a) make themselves available on the dates outlined in these Conditions of Entry;
(b) be willing and able to travel to the location outlined in these Conditions of Entry;
(c) submit medical information to the Promoter promptly upon reasonable request, and submit to any reasonable medical examinations or probity or background checks that may be necessary to establish that the Winner and any guest is able to travel to the locations described in the relevant Prize(s); and
(d) sign the Promoter’s:
1. deed of release in relation to the use of their names and images for promotional purposes; and
2. deed of indemnity and exclusion of liability.
