By entering the STA
Travel “Brit Summer Sounds Promotion”, you are agreeing to
the following terms and conditions:
1.
STANDARD CONDITIONS
1.1.
Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of
Entry. Entry into this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.
2.
ELIGIBILITY

WHO CAN ENTER?
2.1.
Entry is free and open to Australian residents only, aged 18 years or older who complete, in full, the entry form available www.statravel.com.au during the promotional period.
2.2.
Employees and immediate families of the Promoter and suppliers, providers and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-­‐spouse, de-­‐facto spouse, child or step-­‐child (whether by natural or by adoption), parent, step-­‐parent, grandparent, step-­‐grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-­‐brother, step-­‐sister or first cousin.
3.
HOW TO ENTER
3.1.
The promotion commences
3 March 2014 at 9am (AEST, Australian Eastern Standard Time) and concludes 30 March at 11.59pm (AEST, Australian Eastern Standard Time)(“the Promotional Period”).
3.2.
To enter the competition, the entrant must LIKE the STA Travel Australia Facebook page at www.facebook.com/statravel.au during the Promotional Period and complete all mandatory fields (first name, last name, postcode, date of birth, email address) and nominate their favourite British festival song on the entry form located on the ‘WIN’ tab.
3.3.
This competition is a game of chance, and winners will be drawn at random from the pool of valid entries. . The judge’s decision is final and no negotiation or correspondence will be entered into.
3.4.
The Promoter, its agents, affiliates or representatives will not be liable for any lost, late or misdirected entries.
3.5.
Incomprehensible and incomplete entries will be deemed invalid.
3.6.
Entrants (including winners) in the competition may enter as many times as they like, however only
one prize per person will be awarded.
4.
HOW TO WIN
4.1.
Each entrant who has entered the competition over the Promotional Period and registered their details in accordance with clauses 2 and 3 will be entered into the prize judging.
4.2.
The winner will be randomly selected by an STA Travel Marketing
Department representative on Monday 31 Marchat STA Travel , Level 3, 6 Riverside Quay, Southbank, Victoria, 3006.
4.3.
The winner will be notified in writing by email following the judging (within 24 hours).
4.4.
Their name and entry will be published on www.statravel.com.au and via our social networks following acceptance of the prize.
4.5.
Entrants can only enter in their own name. The Promoter, reserves the right to request proof of residency at the stated address and identification for verification (to the Promoter’s satisfaction in its discretion) before
issuing the prize. Incomplete or incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid. Entries containing and/or depicting illegal, sexually explicit or morally or racially offensive content will be ineligible to win. The
Promoter’s decision to disqualify an entry is final and no correspondence will be entered into. No responsibility will be taken for lost, late or misdirected entries.
4.6.
Entrants may enter once per day during the promotional Period.
PRIZE
6.1.
There will be one (1) Major Prize Winner. The Major Prize Winner will receive:
a) 2 x return economy flights to London, flying Qantas valued at $2,100 each (total AUD$4,200)
b) 2 x 3-­‐Day passes to Wireless Festival, London valid for use between 4-­‐6 July 2014, valued at AUD $390 (total AUD $778)
6.2.
The total prize is valued at $4,978.
6.3.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value. Prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
6.4.
Spending money, meals, travel taxes, travel insurance, passports, visas, transport to and from departure point and all other ancillary costs, as well as obtaining any of these, are the responsibility of the winner.
6.5.
Flights are for the Major Winner and a companion travelling together. Flights cannot be taken individually.
6.6.
The Major Prize must be booked at leastone month prior to departure, otherwise it will be deemed to be forfeited by the winner.
6.7.
Major Winner must depart Australia between 1 May 2014 and 1 July 2014. All travel must be completed by 30 November 2014.
6.8.
Wireless Music Festival tickets are only redeemable between 4 July 2014 and 6 July 2014. Festival tickets cannot be redeemed for cash and cannot be on-­‐sold to a third party.
6.9.
Once booked and issued, all terms, conditions, travel validity & changes are subject to the airline’s fare rules & charges for the applicable class of travel booked.
6.10.
Any changes to the itinerary by the Winner will be subject to standard fees & surcharges and will be the responsibility of the passenger. All components of the prize must be taken together or otherwise are
deemed to be forfeited. Travel is subject to booking availability and blackout periods may apply. Prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other STA Travel or third party discounts or special offers.
