Spotlight – Knit to win competition – Knit a little penguin jumper

KNIT TO WIN!

Spotlight has teamed up with AAT Kings and Phillip Island Nature Parks to encourage Australians to help our little penguin friends down south. We’re asking the nation to knit little penguin jumpers and send them to Phillip Island’s Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre. These jumpers play an important role in saving little penguins affected by oil spills, helping to keep them warm and preventing them from preening and swallowing toxic oil.

All knitted jumpers that are correctly submitted (as per the Terms & Conditions) will be judged for their creativity. The knitted jumper which shows the most creative flair will be awarded the first prize, with the next five most creative jumpers each winning a runners up prize.

First prize – for the most creatively knitted jumper:

5 Day AAT Kings Red Centre Short Break for two, including flights, superior accommodation and guided tours (worth $5,100) + Phillip Island ‘Ranger For A Day’ experience (worth $2,500) + $250 Spotlight voucher

Five runners up will also each receive:

Phillip Island ‘Adopt A Penguin’ pack (worth $75) + $50 Spotlight voucher

To participate and to enter our competition, simply follow these 4 easy steps:

Phillip Island Nature Parks will judge all submissions (knitted jumpers) as follows:
