Answer the multiple choice question on “Where is Loch Ness?” The prize includes seven-days in the Caledonian Canal onboard one of Le Boat’s premier-class vessels. The competition concludes on May 10, 2019 and is for two people. Valued at $3,000.
Entry is free and open to Australian + New Zealand Citizens aged 18 years and over. Employees of Le Boat of Crown Travel Limited, River Cruise Passenger, Cruise Passenger and their immediate families are not eligible to enter. Entries must be submitted via the online entry form provided by Cruise Passenger. This promotion is being conducted by Le Boat, Crown Travel Limited (“the Promoter”) of 275 Alfred Street, North Sydney, NSW 2060 and runs from March 6, 2019 to November 10, 2018.
There is one prize, which will be awarded to one correct entry. The Promoter and River Cruise Passenger will evaluate eligible entrants’ entries. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into. This is a game of skill.
Prize consists seven-days on a Le Boat ship in Scotland (Caledonian Canal) for two people. Entrants are responsible for their own airfares. Company reserves the right to offer alternative dates and/or itineraries. Arrival and departure transfers, port charges and tipping for two are at winners’ expense. Prize values are correct at time of printing but no responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of any prizes.
The prize does not include passports, airport lounges, Australian domestic transfers, international flights and additional accommodation made necessary by flight schedules.
Additional expenses like meals, fuel, shore excursions and insurance are at passengers’ expense. We recommend you take out travel insurance prior to travel, as it is not included. A valid passport is required for all international journeys.
It is the responsibility of the individual to advise of any medical conditions, allergies or dietary requirements in advance of the competition.
The Prize must be taken in full and as a package as per the specified departure date, which will be decided after a winner is announced. The Prize is subject to availability at the time of booking. If the winner is unavailable to travel on the date stipulated by the Promoter, the winner will forfeit the prize, which they are unable to redeem. In the event that the winner is unable to redeem the prize on the date stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize will be forfeited by the winner and neither cash nor another prize will be awarded in lieu of the forfeited prize. In the event that the entire prize is forfeited by the winner, the Promoter will award the prize to the next valid entry as determined by the judges appointed by the Promoter. Prizes must be taken on the date specified by the Promoter.
Standard terms and conditions of travelling with Le Boat, Crown Travel Limited will apply, including any applicable age restrictions.
The winner/s must claim the prize by 12:00pm AEST May 8, 2018 or within 48 hours of being contacted, by replying to the notification email or confirming via phone. The value of this prize, itinerary and inclusions are correct at time of printing and subject to change at any time. Any change to the prize between the publishing date and the date the prize is claimed is not the responsibility of the promoter(s).
Entries close at 11:45pm EDST May 3, 2019. One (1) entry will be selected at 12:00pm on May 6, 2019, from all entries. The prize is non-negotiable, and may not be replaced or refunded.
As a condition of entry, entrants must agree to receive mail and/ or email newsletters/ brochures from Le Boat, Crown Travel Limited and River Cruise Passenger.
Entrants can only enter the competition once. Prize-winner will be notified by River Cruise Passenger on May 6, 2019. The winner will be contacted by either email or phone. They will be notified by mail and/or email no later than one week following the prize draw. Results will be published on https://rivercruisepassenger.com.au/leboat/. This promotion does not involve a round in which players are eliminated. Prize letter/ prize will be sent to prize-winner within one month of the winner being decided.
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible or liable for:
(i) inaccurate / incorrect transcription of entry information;
(ii) purported entries that are not received for any reason, including because they are lost, misdirected or stolen, or that are received, but are late, illegible, incomplete, or sent other than as directed in the entry instructions;
(iii) any problems or technical failures of any kind, including malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems or network, servers or providers, computer equipment, or software;
(iv) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any service whether or not caused by traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website;
(v) unauthorised human intervention in any part of the competition;
(ii) (vi) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the competition;
(vii) any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property and including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter, or its servants or agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to a prize winner and, where applicable, to any family/persons accompanying a winner; or
(viii) any injury or damage to persons or property, including to the participant’s or any other person’s computer related to, or resulting from, participation or downloading any materials in this competition;
(ix) In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions.
