At Ray’s Outdoors we believe the best Dads are the ones that love taking the kids on outdoor adventures. This year we want to repay one lucky Dad for his years of service by crowning him Ray’s Ultimate Outdoor Dad and giving him his Father’s Day ultimate wish list!

Ray’s Outdoors Pty Ltd – “Ultimate Outdoor Dad” competition (the “Competition”)
This is a Game of Skill.
Terms and Conditions
1. The Promoter is Ray’s Outdoors Pty Ltd A.C.N. 142 927 642 of 751 Gympie Road, Lawnton, Queensland 4501 (the “Headquarters”).
2. Entry into the Competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
3. This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner.
4. Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over and who are Ray’s Rewards members. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, agents, holding companies or anyone else professionally associated with the Competition are ineligible to enter.
5. The Competition commences on 10:00 a.m., 24 July 2014 and closes on 11:59 p.m. (AEST) 2 September 2014 (“Promotional Period”). All entries must be received by the Promoter within the Promotional Period.
6. Each entrant may submit more than one (1) entry into the Competition provided that each entry is unique to the other entries.
7. To enter the Competition, the entrant must:
7.1. be a current Ray’s Rewards member or sign up to become a Ray’s Rewards member prior to entering the Competition and agree to receive email marketing from the Promoter;
7.2. obtain the approval of the entrant’s father (the “Father”) to upload a picture of the Father to enter into this Competition;
7.3. upload the picture approved by the Father with the Father undertaking an activity that demonstrates he is an outdoor dad online via http://www.raysoutdoors.com.au/ultimateoutdoordad/default.aspx (noting that any other form of entry will not be accepted and entrants who qualify for entry will be entered into the Competition when the online entry is submitted);
7.4. complete the online form at http://www.raysoutdoors.com.au/ultimateoutdoordad/default.aspx and:
7.4.1. enter a tagline that explains why the Father is the “Ultimate Outdoor Dad”;
7.4.2. supply a valid email address for the entrant; and
7.4.3. supply a valid telephone number for the Father depicted in the photograph submitted by the entrant.
8. There is no requirement to purchase from the Promoter in order to enter the Competition.
9. The Prize
9.1. The prize (the “Prize”) shall consists of:
9.1.1. Ten available items from Ray’s Outdoors store up to the value of $2,000;
9.1.2. The winning photo displayed on the Ray’s Outdoors homepage and Facebook page for a period determined by the Promoter; and
9.1.3. The Ray’s Outdoors Ultimate Outdoor Dad trophy.
9.2. Subject to clause 10, the Father depicted in the winning entry (the “Winning Father”) will be awarded the First Prize instead of the entrant who submitted the entry.
9.3. First Prize must be collected at Ray’s Outdoors store nearest to the Winning Father’s residence or another Ray’s Outdoors store agreed by the Promoter.
10. The Notification
10.1. The winning entry (for the Prize) will be selected at 10.00 am (AEST) on 03 September 2014 at the Promoter’s Headquarters. The winning entry will be selected by our panel of judges based on the appeal of the entries submitted. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
10.2. The Promoter will notify the Winning Father by phone (to the phone number provided by the entrant on the entry to the Competition). The Promoter may (but shall not be required to) notify the entrant that the entrant’s father has won the Competition, by email to the email address provided with the winning entry.
10.3. If the Winning Father fails to claim and collect the Prize within fourteen (14) days of the Promoter notifying the Winning Father of the win, or the winning entry is deemed invalid by the Promoter, the Winning Father is deemed to have forfeited and abandoned their prize. The Promoter will select another entry to be the winning entry at the Promoter’s Headquarters. The Promoter will notify the alternate Winning Father by phone (to the phone number provided on the alternate winning entry). If the alternate Winning Father does not accept their prize within fourteen (14) days of the Promoter notifying the alternate Winning Father of the win, or the alternate winning entry is deemed invalid by the Promoter, the alternate winner is deemed to have forfeited and abandoned the Prize and there will not be any further winner selected for this Competition.
10.4. If any of the prizes is unavailable or otherwise unable to be supplied, the Promoter may substitute the prize with a prize of equal value, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority (if required).
10.5. The Promoter reserves the right to require the Winning Father and/or the entrant of the winning entry to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
10.6. By accepting the prize, the Winning Father and/or the entrant of the winning entry agree to participate in and co-­‐operate as required with all reasonable media editorial requests relating to the prize, including but not limited to, being interviewed and photographed, filmed and/or chaperoned by the Promoter throughout the duration of the prize. The Winning Father and entrant of the winning entry will not be entitled to any fee for such participation or co-­‐operation.
11. General Conditions
11.1. All prizes are valued at the recommended retail price and are not available with any other offer. The prizes cannot be transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for cash.
11.2. The Promoter is entitled to verify the validity of entries and the identity entrants/winner(s), and to disqualify any entrant/winner who submits an entry that is contrary to these Terms and Conditions, or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage is not a waiver of those rights.
11.3. Incomplete, indecipherable, fraudulent, misleading, deceptive and/or illegible entries will be deemed invalid. Any entry which contains objectionable content, profanity, insults, inflammatory or defamatory content will also be deemed invalid.
11.4. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability for any personal injury, death, loss and damage; whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Competition, including but not limited to any liability arising from any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction; any reason beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control; any variation of the prize value; any tax liability incurred by the winner or entrant; redemption or use of a prize; and/or infringement of any law by parties other than the Promoter.
11.5. If the Competition is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter is entitled to, the fullest extent permitted by law: disqualify any entrant; or subject to any direction from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Competition.
11.6. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Competition and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties and if required, to the Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information.
11.7. By submitting an entry:
11.7.1. you warrant and agree that:
11.7.1.1. all your entries become the property of the Promoter;
11.7.1.2. the photograph is your own original work and the photograph will not infringe the intellectual property rights of any other person or parties;
11.7.1.3. you will forgo any rights you have in relation to the photograph, and assign all rights, titles, interest, intellectual property rights in the entries and/or photograph to the Promoter;
11.7.1.4. Ray’s Outdoors may use, reproduce and publish the photograph for any purpose, in perpetuity and throughout the world and the entrant will not be entitled to any fee for such use;
11.7.1.5. you indemnify and keep the Promoter indemnified against all liability the Promoter incurs of and incidental to any claim by any third parties against the Promoter for the infringement of the third parties’ intellectual property rights; and
11.7.1.6. the photograph has not been digitally altered or manipulated in anyway.
11.7.2. entrants expressly consent to the Promoter using:
11.7.2.1. the entrant’s entry (either in part or in full), name, likeness, image and/or voice to be reproduced and/or published in any medium for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Competition, the Promoter’s business, and any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter; and
11.7.2.2. their personal information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research, and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Personal information will only be used in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy.
11.8. The Promoter will endeavour to provide the entrant with an option to opt out of receipt of such communications every time the Promoter contacts the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter.
