Promotion Period:

Age Restriction:

Entrants and any companions (if applicable) must be: 18 years of age or over.

Maximum Number of Entries:

Entrants may submit as many entries as they wish however each entry must be submitted via a separate entry and must independently comply with these Competition Terms of Entry.
For the avoidance of doubt, unless otherwise expressly stated, entrants may only win one (1) prize each in the Promotion.

How To Enter:

Entrants may enter the Promotion in either or both of the following ways:

1. Simple 25 words or less Website Entry:
During the Promotion Period entrants must complete the online entry form and register their details in the manner required on the Website and answer in 25 words or less the question: “What is one topic of conversation that you just can’t stay quiet about”.
And/or

2. Simple 25 words or less Nova App Entry:
During the Promotion Period entrants must download the Nova Player App, register their details, complete the entry form for the Promotion under the ‘win’ tab in the manner required and answer in 25 words or less the question: “What is one topic of conversation that you just can’t stay quiet about”.

All valid entries received during the Promotion Period will be individually judged by representatives of the Promoter based on the Judging Criteria.

At various times during the Promotion Period, the Promoter will:
(a) select up to ten (10) entrants deemed to have submitted the ‘best’ entries (based on the Judging Criteria, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) from all valid entries received up until that stage of the Promotion Period (Selected Entrants);

(b) contact up to ten (10) Selected Entrants by telephone and place them on the standby list for that day (Standby List).
Throughout the Promotion Period, the Promoter will explain the rules of the Promotion on-air. If Selected Entrants on the Standby List receive a call from the Promoter, they must answer the call in complete silence, and not talk or make any noise for 5 seconds upon answering, in order to be deemed a winner in the Promotion (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion). The Promoter will confirm the rules of the Promotion to Selected Entrants placed on the Standby List.

3. Answer a call live on air in complete silence:

At various times during the Promotion Period the Promoter (in its sole and absolute discretion) will:
(a) select one (1) Selected Entrant from the relevant day’s Standby List (deemed to have submitted the ‘best’ entry based on the Judging Criteria, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) from all entries on the Standby List at that time;
(b) contact the Selected Entrant on their Personal Contact Number (in the sole and absolute discretion of the Promoter);
(c) the Selected Entrant must answer the call from the Promoter within five (5) rings and before it goes to voicemail in complete silence, and must not speak or make any sounds for 5 seconds;
(d) if the Selected Entrant successfully answers the phone in accordance with paragraph (c) above (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion), the Selected Entrant will be deemed a winner and will be awarded a prize;
(e) if the Selected Entrant does not successfully answer the phone in accordance with paragraph (c) above (including but not limited to, if they do not answer their phone within five (5) rings or by the time it goes to voicemail, if they say anything, or make a noise within the first 5 seconds of answering) (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion) they will not be deemed a winner and will not receive a prize. If this occurs, the Promoter may (in its sole discretion) elect to:
i. select another Selected Entrant from the relevant day’s Standby List (deemed to have submitted the next ‘best’ entry based on the Judging Criteria, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) from all entries on the Standby List at that time and repeat steps (b)- (e) above; OR
ii. not award a prize in that contesting spot and jackpot the amount that had been available to be won as a prize on that day by adding it to the amount available to be won in the next available contesting spot.
