If your subject/s are not able to legally give consent (for example, for reasons of age), you are required to obtain the consent of someone who is able to give consent on their behalf.

Get your entries in for the national photographic portrait prize
It is a condition of entry that the entrant grants to the gallery without conditions permission in perpetuity to supply entries to third parties for purposes associated with the prize
Each entrant may submit up to six entries for selection for the prize
Once a log in account has been created the entrant may continue to change their entries by uploading a new image to replace an existing entry
However entrants who do not successfully upload a new image by the time entries close will not be offered a refund
Original prints hard copies of entries will not be accepted for the initial judging and selection process
Finalists i.e entrants whose entry has been selected for exhibition will be notified by 22 december 2017
Entries must be created in november and december 2016 or in the year 2017
Entries must be the original work of the photographer and photographers must be the sole copyright holder of the work
Entries remain with the entrant as the copyright owner

Entrants must submit an artist statement of maximum 100 words as part of the entry form
Entries by uploading a new image to replace an existing entry

Entrants whose payments cannot be processed will be considered ineligible
Entries will not be accepted for the initial judging and selection process
Entrants whose entry has been selected for exhibition will be notified by 22 december 2017
Entrants who are not selected as finalists will not be notified

Winner of the 2018 National Photographic Portrait Prize will be awarded $50,000 in prizes. winner will receive an Eizo ColorEdge editing monitor valued up to $4,000.
