TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry.
1. Promoter
The promoter is Melbourne Tigers Pty Ltd ABN (4215 893 8624) of Level 13, 10 Queens Road, Melbourne VIC 3004.
2. Duration of Promotion
The Promotion begins at 9.00am on (27/01/2014) and closes at 11.59pm on (19/03/2014) (“Promotion Period”).
3. Advertising of Promotion
The Promotion may be advertised through the Promoter, its advertising agencies, marketing affiliates and selected charities, including Save the Children Australia.
4. Eligibility
Entry is free and open to Victorian residents over the age of 18 but excludes any employee of the Promoter and its related companies and any child, parent, spouse or sibling of such employee (“Eligible Entrants”).
a) by submitting your details on one of the entry pages for the Promotion during the Promotion Period, located at www.melbournetigers.com.au/nbadream/ or by following links on the Promoter’s website or social media pages (“Entry Pages”); or
b) by completing an entry form available at Melbourne Tigers home games and submitting it to a Melbourne Tigers staff member.
c) by purchasing a ticket to a Melbourne Tigers home game held between 02 February 2014 and 9 March 2014 and opting into the NBA Dream competition as well as to receive communications from the Melbourne Tigers, except where the ticket is purchased online or over the phone, filling in an entry form at the relevant home game.
d) by being a paid-up member of the Melbourne Tigers Pty Ltd at any time during the Promotion Period or, whether the member is under 18 years of age, the parent or guardian of that member is the Eligible Entrant .
5. How the Promotion works
Each Eligible Entrant receives one (1) entry into the draw. In addition:
(a) an Eligible Entrant will receive 10 entries into the draw for each ticket sold or given to the Eligible Entrant to a Melbourne Tigers home game held during the Promotion Period.
(b) an Eligible Entrant who is a full season financial member for the 2013/14 season will receive 20 entries for each seat to a Melbourne Tigers home game that is reserved by or allocated to that member during the Promotion Period.
(c) an Eligible Entrant who is a seven game or three game financial member for the 2013/14 season will receive 15 entries for each seat that is reserved by or allocated to that member during the Promotion Period.
(d) each corporate box or VIP seat sold or given for the nominated games during the promotion period will receive a maximum of 160 entries per box (20 entries per person). Each box will be provided with eight forms for completion each carrying a value of 20 entries.
6. Details of prize
The prize awarded to the winner of the Win Your Dream NBA Experience is:
(a) 4 return economy airfares departing Melbourne Australia to San Antonio, Texas, inclusive of compulsory fees, taxes and charges. Airfares are unable to be redeemed for cash and are not transferable. The Promoter will not be responsible for additional expenses including but not limited to travel insurance, changes to return flights and dates, additional baggage charges, tariffs etc. Passport and Visa requirements and costs are the responsibility of the winner. The winner is required to travel return from Melbourne Tullamarine Airport. The winner will depart Melbourne on 14/04/2014 and return back to Melbourne departing San Antonio on 19/04/2014.
(b) 4 general admission tickets to the San Antonio Spurs versus LA Lakers basketball game to be held at AT&T Center, San Antonio, Texas at 7.00pm CST on 16 April 2014.
(c) A Meet and Greet with Patrick Mills. Date, time, location to be determined by the Promoter and is subject to the availability of Patrick Mills. If for any reason beyond the Promoter’s control, any aspect of this Meet and Greet is not capable of running as planned, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel or modify the Meet and Greet.
(d) 5 nights’ accommodation in San Antonio, Texas for 4 people (2 rooms Twin share). The accommodation is unable to be redeemed for cash and is not transferable. The Promoter will not be responsible for any additional expenses incurred in connection with the accommodation.
(e) return airport transfers for 4 people San Antonio, Texas Airport to/from accommodation.
(f) AUD$2,000spending money
The prize outlined above must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated. A prize cannot be transferred to another person therefore if winner is unable to accept the prize it will then by re-drawn. The Promoter is not subject to any additional costs that may be incurred by the winner as the result of this trip including meals, entertainment and gratuities.
The total prize value is $19,600
All travel is provided in accordance with and subject to the terms and conditions of the travel agent selected by the Promoter and the relevant carrier or other service provider.
Compliance with immigration, passport, health or other government requirements is the responsibility of the winner.
7. Draw
The draw will be conducted at 2.00pm (Melbourne time) on (20/03/2014) at Level 13, 10 Queens Road, Melbourne Victoria 3004. The first randomly drawn entry will win the promotion.
8. Notification
The winner will be notified in writing and by telephone within 1 business day of the draw. The winner’s name and suburb will be published in The Herald Sun on (24/3/2014).
9. Unclaimed Prize
If any prize is not claimed within 7 days of the draw, the relevant winner’s entry will be deemed invalid and the Promoter reserves the right to conduct a further draw at 10.00 am (Melbourne time) on (01/04/2014) at the same location as the original draw as necessary to award the prize, subject to any written directions given by the relevant gaming authorities. The unclaimed prize draw winner will be notified in writing.
10. General conditions
a) The Promoter may require the winner to provide proof of identity, age and proof of residency prior to awarding the prize.
b) The winning entrant authorises the Promoter to use their names and photograph for publicity purposes and agrees to reasonably co-operate with the Promoter in publicising the Promotion.
c) If at any time the Promoter considers in good faith that that an entry breaches these terms and conditions, the Promoter reserves the right to refuse an entry into the draw at their discretion. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
d) If a winning entry does not comply with these conditions of entry, the entry will be discarded and a new winner of the prize will be determined by drawing a further valid entry.
e) A prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
f) Each Eligible Entrant agrees that by entering into this competition, the Promoter will be permitted to market the promoter’s products and services to the Eligible Entrant using the Eligible Entrant’s entry details.
g) If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, mobile network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion, or invalidate any affected entries, subject to the approval of the relevant authorities in each state and territory, where required.
