Terms & Conditions
1. Information on how to enter this competition and available prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed
acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time, in accordance with state regulations.
2. The Promoter is Shingle Inn Franchising Pty. Ltd. ABN 81 131 836 587 of Suite 4/23 Breene Place, Morningside Qld 4169.
3. The Competition period starts on Wednesday 24th July 2019 at 6:00am (AEST) and ends on Wednesday 7th August at 6:00pm (AEST) (the Promotional
Period). Entries will only be accepted during the Promotional Period.
4. Entry is open to all Australian residents of 18 years of age or older as at the commencement date of the Competition. Employees (and immediate
families) of the Promoter and any agencies associated with the Competition are ineligible to enter.
5. To be eligible to enter, customers must visit any Shingle Inn location between 24/07/2019 and 07/08/2019 inclusive and swipe their InnerCircle
loyalty card upon any purchase.
6. To enter, customers must email marketing@shingleinn.com with their InnerCircle VIP membership number and 25 words or less as to why they
would like to win a double-pass in-season ticket to Romeo & Juliet (Presented by Queensland Ballet).
7. This is a game of skill, and entrants must detail why they would like to win a double-pass in-season ticket to Romeo & Juliet in 25 words or less.
8. Unless they choose to opt out, customers will receive correspondence on a bi-monthly basis from Shingle Inn about new products, competition and
in-store promotions. Customers can unsubscribe at any time. This information will not be supplied to third parties for marketing purposes.
9. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
10. Multiple entries not permitted.
11. Entries must be submitted by a registered InnerCircle VIP member. Any entries from an unregistered InnerCircle card will still be deemed valid if the
customer registers their details within the promotional period (24/07/2019 – 07/08/2019).
12. Entries will be judged at Shingle Inn’s Franchising Office, Suite 4, 23 Breene Place, Morningside QLD 4170 on Thursday 8 August 2019 at 16.00pm
AEST by two employees of Shingle Inn Support Office.
13. All winners will be contacted by phone on Friday 9th August 2019. Where a phone number has not been provided, the winner will be contacted via
email.
14. In the case of any winner being unreachable within 1 week of the initial Prize Draw, Shingle Inn reserves the right to redraw these entries and award
the prize to an alternative winner. Any redraw of entries will be conducted at Shingle Inn Franchising, Suite 4, 23 Breene Place, Morningside QLD 4170
and contacted via phone or email thereafter.
15. Up to four entrants will receive a prize. The Prize is a premium in-season double pass ticket to Queensland Ballet’s production of Romeo & Juliet at
Queensland Performing Arts Centre. Return economy airfares for two and twin share accommodation will be provided if the winner is located outside
Queensland and is unable to make their own transport arrangements to Brisbane. Airport transfers, local transport and meals are not included.
Maximum prize value $1000.
16. The double-pass is only eligible for in-season performances from Thursday 29 August – Saturday 7 September 2019.
17. Winners must nominate their preferred performance date and time to Shingle Inn by Friday 16 August 2019.
18. Shingle Inn accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury from entering the competition or in connection with taking up the prize including
any prizes damaged, delayed or lost in transit.
19. No responsibility or liability is accepted for any variation in the value of the prizes. In the event that any prize item is unavailable, Shingle Inn reserves
the right to substitute a different prize item of equal or greater value, subject to approval in accordance with state regulations.
20. Shingle Inn Franchising reserves the right to request information to verify the validity of entries including: proof of identity and/or proof of Australian
residency status at the nominated prize delivery address. Acceptance of verification information is at the discretion of Shingle Inn Franchising. Shingle
Inn Franchising reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry that is not in accordance
with these conditions of entry.
21. All entries will become the property of Shingle Inn Franchising. The information entrants provide will be used by Shingle Inn Franchising for the
purpose of conducting this promotion.
22. Shingle Inn Franchising will provide each winners names onto the supplier to be contacted directly by Queensland Ballet regarding the prize.
23. Tickets are to be collected from the Lyric Theatre Box Office on the day of the performance, from one hour prior to the performance
24. By entering this competition, you give Shingle Inn Franchising the right to use your name, email address, InnerCircle membership card number for
promotional, marketing and publicity purposes associated in conjunction to and outside the competition.
25. The winners consent to the Promoter using their first name, suburb and state of residence to list on the website (www.shingleinn.com) and social
media platforms such as Facebook. Confirmation of prize winners’ will be published on the Shingle Inn Website and Facebook Page once winner/s
have been successfully contacted to allocate this prize.
26. Where a competition is promoted on Facebook, entrants acknowledge this competition is in no way associated with, administered or endorsed by
Facebook. Any information disclosed by entrants entering this competition is not provided to Facebook.
27. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees (in which case that liability is limited to the greatest
extent allowed by the law), the Promoter and any agencies associated with the Competition (including their respective directors, officers, employees
and agents) are not responsible for and exclude all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury, or any loss or damage (including loss of
opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of or relating to:
a. the Competition;
b. any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction
c. any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
d. any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected;
e. any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions;
f. the delay, postponement or cancellation of any activity;
g. any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or
h. the prize or any part of the prize, including, providing, delivering, accepting, taking, participating in or using the prize or any part of the
prize.
28. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the
promotion, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.
29. Any costs associated with entering the Competition are the responsibility of the entrant.
