The Herald Sun is giving you the chance to win a trip for two to see WICKED on Broadway in New York City; including airfares, accommodation and tickets to the show. 25 runners up will also receive a double pass to see the show in Melbourne.

1. STANDARD TERMS
1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these conditions of entry.

2. WHO CAN ENTER
2.1 Subject to clause 2.2 entry is open to all residents of Victoria only.
2.2 Directors, management, employees and their immediate families of News Corp Australia and ACMN, and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether by natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.

3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 The competition commences on Sunday 23 February, 2014 at 00:05AM (AEDT) and concludes on Sunday 9 March, 2014 at 23:55PM (AEDT) (“the Competition Period”).
3.2 To enter the competition readers must enter online at heraldsun.com.au/competitions
Entrants must enter all details required on the online competition page, including a response to the 25 words or less question as displayed. Standard masthead website terms and conditions apply.
3.3 This competition is a game of skill, and chance plays no part in the results of this competition. Entries will be judged on the basis of creativity & originality in response to the 25 words or less question included on the competition entry page. Judges decision is final and negotiations will not be entered into.
3.4 The time of entry will, in each case, be the time that the entry is received online by heraldsun.com.au/competitions, via News Corp Australia servers.
3.5 The Promoter, its agents, affiliates or representatives will not be liable for any lost, late or misdirected entries.
3.6 Incomprehensible and incomplete entries will be deemed invalid.
3.7 Entrants (including winners) in the competition may enter as many times as they like, however only one prize per person will be awarded.

4. HOW TO WIN
4.1 Each entrant who has entered the competition over the Competition Period and registered all details in accordance with clauses 2 and 3 will be entered into the prize judging. Judging will take place at News Corp Australia, 40 City Road, Southbank VIC 3006, Australia, on Monday 10 March, 2014 at 10:00AM (AEDT).
4.2 There will be one (1) Major prize winner selected from all valid entries, and twenty-five (25) runner up prize winners. All winners must be a VIC resident.
4.3 The Promoters’ decision in relation to any aspects of the competition is final and the Promoters will not enter into any correspondence regarding the result.
4.4 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winners may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoters in its absolute discretion.
4.5 Entries not completed in accordance with these terms and conditions will not be considered valid and will not be included in the judging. Indecipherable or incomplete entries will be deemed invalid.
4.6 The Promoters reserve the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address and/or proof of entry validity (including phone bills) in order to claim the prize. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
4.7 The Promoters reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry which, in the opinion of the Promoters, includes objectionable content, profanity, potentially insulting, inflammatory or defamatory statements, disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions or entry, or who has, in the opinion of the Promoters, engaged in conduct in entering the promotion which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the promotion and/or Promoters. The Promoters reserve the right to disqualify a winner if the Promoters become aware that the winner and/or the winner’s entry is of a type described in this clause.
4.8 The prize winners will be notified in via email or telephone by Tuesday 11 March, 2014, and their details will be published on heraldsun.com.au/competitions by Tuesday 11 March, 2014.
4.9 Subject to any directions given, an unclaimed prize judging will take place at 40 City Road, Southbank 3006 VIC on Monday 28 April, 2014, at 10:00AM (AEST). The new winner/s will be notified via phone or email and their details will be published on heraldsun.com.au/competitions on Tuesday 29 April, 2014.
Early re draw is due to major winner confirming details with ACMN 6 weeks prior to prize claim date: 1 July 2014

5. PRIZES
5.1 MAJOR PRIZE WINNER:
One (1) Major prize winner will be awarded. Prize winner will receive the following:
– Two (2) standard tickets to WICKED at The Gershwin Theatre, New York City; valued at $200 RRP.
– Travel voucher by Virgin Australia Holidays; valued at $5,000 RRP to put towards:
– Return economy airfares based on a saver fare for two adults flying with Virgin Australia from Melbourne to New York;
– Four (4) nights’ accommodation at a 3 star or above hotel in New York
– Major Winner must travel between 1 July 2014 and 30 June 2015 (block out periods apply for school and public holidays, December 2014, January 2015).
Total major winner prize value is $5,200 RRP.

RUNNER UP PRIZE WINNERS:
– Twenty-five (25) Runner up prize winners will be awarded. Prize winners will all receive the following:
– Two (2) standard tickets to a preview performance of WICKED at Regent Theatre, Melbourne on Friday 9 May, 2014; valued at $139.80 RRP.
Total runner up prize value is $3,495. RRP

Total prize pool value is $8,695. RRP

5.2 TERMS APPLICABLE TO MAJOR PRIZE WINNER ONLY:
5.3 Booking must be made and confirmed at least 6 weeks prior to intended travel.
5.4 Prize is only valid subject to ACMN approval for payment to Virgin Australia Holidays.
5.5 In the event your prize is not utilised within the validity period, no cash, credit or extension will be provided.
5.6 This prize is non-transferable or exchangeable for cash.
5.7 Once booking is confirmed, standard fees and any other supplier fees and surcharges, where applicable, will apply for any amendments or cancellation of booking.
5.8 Winner must be 18 years old and above to redeem the voucher.
5.9 Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions all other expenses become the responsibility of the winner (and their companions) including but not limited to spending money, transfers, meals (other than those specified), drinks (other than those specified), incidentals, mini-bar, laundry, room service, telephone calls, activities, taxes (including departure taxes), energy surcharges, gratuities, services charges, passports, travel insurance, pre and post accommodation, optional activities or excursions and all other ancillary costs.
5.10 The winner/s (and their travelling companion) is also responsible for having a current passport or obtaining a current passport before travelling and any other documentation or immunizations that may be required in order to take the voucher. The winner (and their travelling companion) is also responsible for obtaining any visas that may be required and for ensuring that they have travel insurance. A credit card imprint or cash deposit may be required from the winner at check-in to the hotel, for all incidental charges.
5.11 The Promoters shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) as a result of taking or utilizing any voucher, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
5.12 The Promoters accept no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the voucher winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought.
5.13 The Promoters are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by the entrant or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this incentive scheme competition), or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this competition including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications, internet access, network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.

5.14 TERMS APPLICABLE TO ALL PRIZE WINNERS:
5.15 Prize winners will receive all event details and vouchers to redeem the prize. The winner/s and their guest will be subject to, and must abide by the terms and conditions of any third parties, including but not limited to the venues the winners will attend. Any breach of such terms and conditions may affect the ability to receive benefits of the prize. In that case, such benefits will be forfeited.
5.16 Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions, items such as additional meals and transport are strictly at the discretion and expense of the winners and their guests.
5.17 Prizes cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash. In the event that the winner does not take the prize as offered in the time stipulated, then the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize. Prizes must be taken as offered and cannot be varied. All elements of the prize must be taken together. Any unused portion of the prize is not-transferrable, non-refundable and non-redeemable for other goods or services and cannot be taken to cash.
5.18 The Promoters accept no responsibility for any variations in the value of the prize as quoted in these terms and conditions. In the event that the prize components as listed cannot be offered at the time of fulfilment at the fault of the promoter, a replacement prize will be offered of equivalent value (at the combined discretion of the promoters).
5.19 In participating in the prizes, the winner agrees to participate and co-operate as required in all editorial activities relating to the promotion, including but not limited to being interviewed and photographed. The winner grants the Promoters a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the winner (and their travelling companions) will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
5.20 The winner/s agrees that they will not sell or otherwise provide their story and/or photographs to any media or other organisation.
5.21 The winner/s must, on request by the Promoters, be able to provide evidence which, to the reasonable satisfaction of the Promoters, demonstrates that the winner is an eligible entrant (as per clauses 2.1, 2.2) and has complied with these terms and conditions.
