● Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. This is a Game of Chance.

● The promoter is Fairfax Media Events Pty Ltd (ABN: 31 104 735 766) of L1, 55 Pyrmont Street, Pyrmont NSW 2009.

● Entry to this promotion is open to QLD residents over the age of 18 with a valid Australian postal address. However, directors, employees and their immediate families of Fairfax Event and Entertainment and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter.

● The promotion commences on 6th February 2019 at 6:00pm (AEST) and concludes on 17th March 2019 at 4pm (AEST). No entries will be accepted after this time. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other reason.
● Entrants may enter as many times as they wish, but only 1 winner will be selected.
● The winner will be picked by Fairfax Events and Entertainment on 17th March 2019.

● To enter the competition, entrants must register for their free ticket and tick the box for My New Caledonia, however everyone that has registered for their ticket prior to 6th February 2019 will be able to enter the competition at the show.

● Entrants who submit entries that contain inappropriate text will be disqualified automatically. The Promoters decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Prize is not exchangeable, refundable or transferable and may not be used as part payment of another offer. The Prize cannot be redeemed for cash.
● The Promoter reserves the right to request the winner to provide proof of identity, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address and/or proof of entry validity in order to claim a prize. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
● The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry which, in the opinion of Promoter, includes objectionable content, profanity, potentially insulting, inflammatory or defamatory statements, disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, who submits an entry that is not in accordance with
these Terms & Conditions of entry or who has, in the opinion of Promoter, engaged in conduct in entering the promotion which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the promotion and/or Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify a winner if Promoter becomes aware that the winner and/or the winner’s entry is of a type described in this clause.
● All entries must be received by 4pm (AEST) on 17th March 2019.
● The winner will be announced on Facebook at 5pm (AEST) on 17th March 2019 and notified via email along with further instructions.
● Should an original winner not contact the promoter via return email to claim their prize by 4pm (AEST), 21st March 2019, the prize will be forfeited and no cash or other alternative will be offered. Subject to any direction given under relevant State legislation, a second draw will take place at Fairfax Events and Entertainment, 55 Pyrmont Street, Pyrmont NSW 2009 22nd March at 11am (AEST). The winner of the second draw will be notified by email and instructions on how to collect the prize. Should the winner not respond via return email by 26th March at 10am (AEST), the prize will be forfeited and no cash or other alternative will be offered.
● The prize includes a New Caledonia 5-star package for 2 adults and 2 children including 5 nights, flights plus $1500 Bonus Value.
● Additionally, all entries will receive a $200 voucher for My Holiday Centre & My Cruises.
● You must attend the show to be entered into the prize draw and to be eligible for the $200 voucher which is available to new customers only.
● The total prize value is up to $7500.
● If the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to State Regulation.
● The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to allow a winner to take part in any or all aspects of the prize, if the Promoter determines, in their absolute discretion, that a winner is not in the mental or physical condition necessary to be able to safely participate in the prize. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
● By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to participate in and co-operate as required with all reasonable media editorial requests relating to the prize, including but not limited to, being interviewed and photographed, filmed and/or chaperoned throughout the duration of the prize.
● Should an entrant’s contact details change during the Promotion Period, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to the Promoter.
● It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize supplier’s requirements.
● The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
● The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual or team who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
● The Promoter and their associated agencies and companies assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries, and reserve the right to take any action that may be available.
● If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud or any causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual or team who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, subject to any written direction given under State Regulation.
● Entrant’s social media account details and entry details (including any personal information provided) will be collected by Fairfax Events and Entertainment and may be shared with employees, related bodies corporate, contractors or external service providers in relation to the promotion and more broadly for the operation of our websites or our business and marketing.
● The Promoter will collect your personal information to enable you to participate in this promotion and to distribute the prize but no further use of this information will be made without your prior consent.

5. Accommodation is at Sheraton Deva Spa & Golf Resort and is subject to availability at the time of booking. Unused portions of the gift certificate are non-refundable. All incidental items such as food and beverage, mini bar, telephone and laundry will be at the person’s expense and should be settled on departure. Please note the room specified above accommodates a maximum of two (2) adults and two (2) children only (children to be aged 12 years or below).
6. Travel is valid for a maximum of two adults and two children (12 and under) in any one trip, and one passenger must be the winner. The winner/s and travelling companions must travel at the same time, must depart from the same capital city as stipulated in the prize and are responsible for transport from their residence to the departing airport.
7. Holiday Prize must be booked by 30 June 2019 and all travel must be completed by 27 December 2019, or unless otherwise stated. In the event a winner does not take the prize by the time stipulated, then the entire prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize.
8. The prize is not available during peak times such as public holidays and school holiday and cannot be changed once the booking has been made. Air tickets and airlines are at the discretion of the promotor based on an airfare allowance and the regular scheduled services of each airline and are subject to seasonal embargos. A surcharge may apply for select flights. Seats are limited and may not operate direct or be available on all flights or all dates. Unless stated otherwise, flights are economy class fares and may exclude checked baggage, meals, inflight entertainment and other optional charges, such as service fees that may be levied. All taxes payable, airline and government are the responsibility of the prize winner. Tickets are nonrefundable. Frequent Flyer points are not available from any airline. A credit card imprint or cash deposit may be required from the winner at check-in to the hotel, for all incidental charges. Once accommodation vouchers are issued they are non-changeable.
9. Unless otherwise expressly stated, prize values are based upon the retail value of each individual inclusion when booked direct with operator or service provider e.g. airline or resort. at the time of first publication of these Terms and Conditions (inclusive of GST). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate prize redemption date.
10. Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the prize.
11. Prizes are non-transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash, and will expire if not used by the dates referred to. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash.
12. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize supplier’s requirements. It is the responsibility of the winner to confirm such conditions with the prize supplier or other relevant third parties.
13. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
14. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
15. All entrants agree that if they win the prize, they will not, and their companions will not, sell or otherwise provide their story and/or photographs to any media or other organisation, including the internet. Photographs will be allowed only at the discretion of the Promoter.
16. The winner acknowledges and accepts that activities that form part of the prize are inherently dangerous and may result in death, injury, incapacity, damage to property or other losses. 17. The winner/s (and their companion/s) is/are responsible for all other expenses including spending money, meals (unless specified), drinks, transfers (unless specified), laundry charges, activities (unless specified), incidentals, taxes (excluding departure and any other flight associated taxes included within the prize), transfers, additional accommodation due to flight schedules, optional excursions, tipping, energy surcharges, gratuities, services charges, passports, visas, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs. Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances. The winner is responsible for ensuring that they and their travelling companion(s) are fit to travel and have received appropriate immunisations and/or health checks prior to taking the prize. The Promoter is not responsible for any cancellation, delay or rescheduling of flights, and any costs incurred as a result (including, without limitation, accommodation costs) will be the sole responsibility of the winner.
18. If any prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
19. International Travel: The winner and his or her travel companion are responsible for complying with health and any other government requirements that may apply to the prize. All prize travel will be subject to the carrier’s General Conditions of Carriage. It is the traveller’s personal responsibility to ensure that they have valid travel documentation, including valid passports and visas, which meet the requirements of government authorities at the relevant destinations. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be the sole responsibility of the traveller/s. The Promoter makes no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination.
