The competition is open to all residents of Australia, excluding the Australian Capital Territory, aged 18 years and over (unfortunately local laws mean we can’t run this competition in the ACT). Entries open Monday 14th August 2017 at 9am UTC. Entries close Thursday 15th September 2017 at 9pm. UTC.
Competition Terms and Conditions
No purchase necessary. Entry to the competition is conditional on acceptance of these terms and conditions. By entering you are deemed to have read and accepted these terms.
In order to participate, the entrant must enter the promoter’s “WIN a trip for 2 to Kuala Lumpur with Malindo Air” competition via the Cheapflights website.
The entrant will be asked to answer the following qualifying question in order to enter the competition: “Tell us where in Malaysia you would visit and why? Get creative…” Once completed, the user must enter their full name and a valid email address. There is limit of 1 entry per person. If you enter more than once, only the first entry will qualify. The competition is open to entrants in Australia aged 18 years and over only.
After the competition closing date, Cheapflights will select one winner based on the creativeness of their answer the qualifying question. The winner will be picked by an independent judge.
The start date for entries is Monday 14th August 2017 at 9am. UTC.
The closing date for entries is Thursday 15th September 2017 at 9pm. UTC. Entries received after this date and time will not be accepted.
Employees of the promoter and members of their immediate families (including any live-in partner), its agencies, or anyone professionally associated with the promotion are excluded from entering the promotion. The promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants.

Prizes:
The main competition prize is return flights for one to Kuala Lumpur courtesy of Malindo Air, and a two night stay in the Berjaya Times Square Hotel, Kuala Lumpur (a Club Premier Room inclusive of breakfasts for 2 persons).
Cheapflights will select two winners for this competition, one winner flying from Perth Airport, and one winner flying from Brisbane Airport).
Prize draws:
The final draw will take place on Monday 18th September 2017 at 3pm. UTC. The winners will be notified via email within one day of the draw. The prize winners are required to accept his/her prizes by email within ten days of notification. In the event of non-acceptance, a supplementary winner may be drawn at the promoter’s discretion. The winners will be announced on the Cheapflights Facebook only after they have accepted the prize.
The prize winners must depart from either Brisbane Airport or Perth Airport (one from each).
The prize is valid between the dates of 1st September 2017 and 1st March 2018. A blackout period between 15th December 2017 and 1st January 2018 applies.
The main competition prize is non-transferable. There is no cash alternative to the prize.
Travel tickets must be booked by xxx 2017. The winner’s preferred dates for travel may be subject to availability at the time of booking.
The major travel prize does not include travel insurance, passports, visas, meals, airport transfers, excess baggage or any other costs of a personal nature not stated.
The prize cannot be exchanged for goods or cash nor can it be sold to any other person.
