Terms and Conditions of Entry
– Suzuki Drives the Block Glasshouse Competition –
General
Information on how to enter and prizes form part of the Terms and Conditions of Entry. Entry into this competition deems acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
To the extent of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any other reference to this competition, these Terms and Conditions prevail.
Who can enter?
Subject to clauses 4 and 5, entry is open to all residents of Australia over the age of 18, as of the date of entry, who have fulfilled the requirements set out below.
Employees, and their immediate families, of the Promoter, Permitz Group Pty Ltd (www.permitzgroup.com.au) and associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter this competition. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, defacto spouse, child or step child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step parent, grandparent, step grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step brother, step sister or 1st cousin.
The Promoter is Suzuki Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 57 001 828 164) 97 – 105 Cherry Lane, Laverton North VIC 3026 (‘Promoter’).
How to enter
Entrants may enter the competition during the Promotional Period by:
Visiting the website www.suzuki.com.au (‘Website’) and follow the links to the entry page to enter their details; and then on the Website
Selecting the apartment/couple they think will win ‘The Block Glasshouse’ competition; and then on the Website
Entering the figure they believe the winning apartment will be sold for. For example, subject to clause 7, if the entrant believes that the winning apartment will auction for 1,652,500 they will need to enter that figure in the field provided in the Website.
Once entrants have completed the entry form and entered a unique bid they must submit their entry.
If the number selected by the entrant (under clause 6.3) has already been used by another entrant, all entrants who select that specific bid go into a random draw to win the car only if it is the winning bid. If the winning apartment is either passed in at auction or not sold for any other reason, all valid entries will be included in the competition draw in accordance with clause 14.
If the winning apartment sells for a figure that has not been selected by a contestant, the next closest higher bid will be selected as the winner.
There will only be one car given away in this competition. Only the car belonging to the winning apartment will be given away (as specified in clause 17).
By submitting an entry into this competition entrants provide consent to receive future marketing and promotional messages from the Promoter (and its related entities) including messages sent electronically for an unlimited period of time. The Entrant may opt-out of receiving future messages by following the instructions provided.
Entries must include all requested contact details, including a valid email/postal address, to be eligible to win. Entrants may only enter in their own name. Inaudible, incomprehensible, illegible, and incomplete entries will be deemed invalid.
Number of Entries permitted
All entrants may enter as many manual entries as they wish (i.e. not using any form of computer scripting).
Open, Close, Draw and Publish dates
The competition commences 26/08/2014 at 00:01 AEST and closes 05/10/2014 at 23:59 AEST (‘Promotional Period’). Entries must be received by the Promoter prior to the competition close date and time.
If two or more entrants have selected the correct number, in accordance with clause 7 above, the winner will be the first valid entry drawn (from tied entrants) at the premises of Permitz Group Pty Ltd at 18 Karalta Road Erina NSW on 15/10/2014 at 11:00 AEDT. If the winning apartment is not sold or passed in at auction, all entries will be included in that draw to determine the one winner. The Promoter will ensure that all entries have an equal chance of winning a prize.
The winner will be notified by phone and email within two business days of the draw and their name will be published in The Australian newspaper on 23/10/2014.
The Promoter may conduct such further draws on 15/01/2015 at the same time and place as the original draw in order to distribute any prizes unclaimed by this date, subject to State and Territory legislation. Winners of any further draws will be notified by email within two business days of the draw and their name will be published in The Australian newspaper on 20/01/2015.

Total prize value is up to $27,610 (Including GST), as at 25/07/2014.

2013 Suzuki Kizashi Prestige Sedan Auto (belonging to apartment 4: Simon & Shannon), valued at up to $27,610; or
2013 Suzuki Grand Vitara Urban Navigator 5 door Wago Auto (belonging to apartment 3: Maxine & Karstan), valued at up to $25,200; or
2013 Suzuki Swift Sport Hatch 6 Speed Manual (belonging to apartment 1: Carlene & Michael), valued at up to $25,000; or
2013 Suzuki Swift Sport Hatch 7 Speed Auto (belonging to apartment 2: Chris & Jenna), valued at up to $27,460.
*The value of the cars will vary as they are second hand (having been driven by The Block contestants), and will therefore need to be valued by an independent party.
