Australian Radio Network – Will & Woody’s Australia’s Easiest Quiz – Win 1 of 240 cash prizes of $500 each

Competition commences Monday 11th January 2021 at 6:00AM (AEST)

• Pre-promote registration: 11th January 2021 at 6:00AM (AEST) Registrations will continue during contesting period and finish on Friday 3rd December at 12:00PM (AEST)
• Contesting: Monday 11th January at 6AM (AEDT)

Competition concludes Friday 3rd December at 18:00PM (AEDT) or whenever the prize has been awarded.

Entry Restrictions:
a) Entrants must be 18 years of age or over at the time of entry.
b) Entrants may enter more than once, however, only one prize can be won per person.
c) Promotions are not open to any person, including Australian residents, entering the competition from outside of Australia.
d) Entrants acknowledge that they must be contactable by the Promoter to be successful. Entrants unable to be contacted in accordance with these terms for any reason will forfeit their prize/opportunity.
e) Entrant may be contacted by the Promoter and put to air, but this does not necessarily deem them a winner. However, being deemed a winner is contingent on the entrant giving consent to be broadcast if the Promoter, in its absolutely discretion judges them to be a successful winner of the competition.
f) Entrants who provide incorrect, misleading or fraudulent information are ineligible in the promotion and all entries of an entrant who is deemed by the Promoter to have provided incorrect or misleading information may, at the discretion of the Promoter be deemed invalid.
g) If for any technical reason, the phone line drops out, or they are inaudible or they are or they are unreachable for any reason (including without limitation any technical or operator error), the entrant will not be awarded with a prize.

How to Enter:

Entrants in New South Wales and Victoria can enter by either phoning the station or online entry:
Contacting the station by phone:

a) Listeners will be invited to call 13 1065 during a specified time period; The Promoter will select the entrant that successfully manages to be the first caller through and invite them on air to play.

Online entry:
b) Entrants can visit the Station Websites and complete the online entry form by providing their contact details and by stating in 25 words or less “Why do you want to play Will & Woody’s Easiest Quiz?’ The form includes providing their contact details.
c) Each entry submitted in the above specified competition period will be individually reviewed by representatives of the station.
d) The Station may contact entrants to ask further questions about their entry. If entrants receive a call or are put to air this does not mean that they are the deemed winner
e) Rules will be stipulated on air by the Promoter, at its absolute discretion.
f) The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
g) The Promoter reserves the right in its absolute discretion to refrain from broadcasting any call.
h) A person that is put to air, or determined as an on-air prize winner cannot pass the telephone call on to anyone else, and should this occur, any person that is on air or has been passed the phone in this capacity will not be eligible for a prize, at the discretion of the Promoter.
i) If the Entrant does not answer their phone as above, their phone is turned off, engaged, the phone line drops out, they are inaudible or they are unreachable for any reason (including without limitation any technical or operator error), the Promoter may (in its sole and absolute discretion) select another Entrant and so on until another entrant is available and prizing will be awarded to their nominated person, at the absolute discretion of the Promoter.
j) The Promoter reserves the right in its absolute discretion to refrain from broadcasting any call.
During AEST, entrants located in Queensland can also enter by phoning the station:

Entrants located in Queensland (during AEDT), Western Australia and South Australia can enter by online entry.

Online entry:
a) Entrants can visit the Station Websites and complete the online entry form by providing their contact details and by stating in 25 words or less “Why do you want to play Will & Woody’s Easiest Quiz?’ The form includes providing their contact details.
b) Each entry submitted in the above specified competition period will be individually reviewed by representatives of the station.

During the Competition Period:
a) The Station will select up to 240 (two hundred and forty) entries over the contesting period that it deems to be the “best” from all valid entries received to be in the running receive a prize.
b) Over the campaign period and in-show (Monday 11th January – Friday 3rd December 2021; subject to change at promotor discretion) Will & Woody will call one (1) registered entrant or answer one (1) phone call from an entrant on 13 1065. The entrant may be required to be on air with Will & Woody.
c) If the promoter calls the Entrant and they do not answer their phone within the time specified (between 12:00PM-6:00PM AEST/AEDT during the contesting period) or is unable to attend the challenge, they will forfeit the prize and Will & Woody will call the next contestant/s.
d) If the promoter answers an entrant’s call on 13 1065 and the entrant is unable to attend the challenge, they will forfeit the prize and Will & Woody will answer another entrants phone call.

Limitation on entries:

• Entrants may enter the competition as many times as they wish, however Entrants may only win one (1) prize each and each entry must be distinct.
• If any duplicate entries are received from the same Entrant these will be removed or deleted prior to the judging being conducted.

Challenge details:
a) Over the campaign period (as specified), the Station will challenge finalists to answer 10 questions correctly, in 30 seconds. If the challenger satisfactorily completes the challenge within the time specified and in accordance with any other criteria for success as specified by the Station, the challenger will win a prize.
b) The segment may be pre-recorded or done live in-show between AEST/AEDT 4pm-6pm during the contesting period.
c) Successful entrants as decided by the promoter (in its absolute discretion) will invite them on air to play. The selected entrant will be asked 10 (ten) general knowledge questions (as selected by the Promoter in its absolute discretion) as possible in a 30 second time period. If the selected entrant does not know an answer, they must say the word PASS to move onto the following question, failure to do so will result in the announcer waiting until an answer is given. Entrants who answer all 10 questions correctly (as determined by the promoter) will receive a prize.
d) The promoter reserves the right to adjust the rules of the contesting or include a bonus round.
e) Should the challenger refuse or fail to satisfactorily complete the challenge within the time specified, they will forgo any prize and the Station will not be required to conduct the challenge again. The Station’s decision as to the result of the challenge is final and no correspondence will be entered.
