Terms and Conditions

This Competition is run by Ability Options and as a condition of entry; the entrant (“Entrant” or “You”) will be bound by the following Terms and Conditions:

This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged, based on merit with the judges solely determining the winner.

Promoter

The promoter of the Competition is Ability Options Limited (the “Promoter”) (ABN 92 003 175 335 of 29-31 Lexington Drive Bella Vista NSW 2153, Australia. 02 1300 422 454).

Entry restrictions
The Competition is open to all New South Wales residents only who are over the age of eighteen (18) years of age. An Entrant must be an individual and not a company or organisation.

Each entry must be made in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. By entering the Competition, You agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entries and the Entrant’s (including an Entrant’s identity, age and place of residence). The Promoter may in its discretion refuse to award any prize to any Entrant who fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions. All relevant instructions on the Promoter’s website form part of these Terms and Conditions.
Entry into the Competition is free with only one (1) entry per person permitted and the entrant must reside in New South Wales.

Competition
The Competition opens at 11:00 am (AEST) on Monday 19th February 2018 and closes at 11:59pm (AEST) on Friday 9th March (“Competition Period”). Any entry received after the Competition Period will be deemed invalid. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost, delayed or incorrect entries.

How to enter
To enter the Competition You must:

The Prize
Attendance or organisation of a Key Word Basic Workshop will be awarded to the winner of the Competition (“the Prize”).
The Prize cannot be exchanged or transferred and cannot be redeemed for cash. In the event that the Prize become unavailable due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter reserves the right to provide a similar product to the same or greater value as the original prize, subject to any applicable laws or written directions made under applicable legislation. In the event of an Entrant being unable to satisfy these Terms and Conditions or forfeiting or not claiming the Prize, the Promoter reserves the right to award the Prize to the Entrant with the entry judged to be the best of the remaining entries.
The winner shall be notified through Facebook at the conclusion of the Competition (no later than 5 pm Friday 12th March 2018, following the Competition). The prize winner will be registered into the Key Word Sign Basic Workshop free of charge. However, the winner will be required to purchase a
Workbook for $25 which will be sent by post to the winner. The Promoter will cover all postage costs but will take no responsibility for prizes damaged in transit.
Judging
This Competition is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner. The decision of the judging panel is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The Promoter reserves the right to remove or deny the admission of any entry, photo or comments which are deemed inappropriate in its sole discretion.
The Promoter will do its best to contact the winner. If a winner does not accept their prize within thirty (30) days of each winner announcement, the Promoter will withdraw the prize to the winner.
The judging of the winner will be selected based on their creativity or best answer to “Tell us why you’d like to win”
A congratulations announcement about the winner will be made on the Promoters Facebook page.
Competition changes and cancellation
The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to change the Competition prize, Competition Period, dates, times to the Competition. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the Competition at any time without cause or notice to the Entrants.
General
The Promoter acknowledges that the Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.
All Entries become the property of the Promoter and cannot be returned. You assign all copyright in your Entry to the Promoter. You consent to the Promoter, its employees, contractors and licencees doing or omitting to do anything anywhere in the world which, but for this consent, would infringe your moral rights [as defined in the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth)] in the Entry or its contents. Entries that are found to have been derived or copied from the intellectual property of a third party will be considered invalid and, if awarded a Prize, that Prize must be returned to the Promoter. Entrants may be required to sign a statutory declaration regarding the originality of the entry. Without limiting the generality, the Promoter reserves the right to take legal action against anyone found to have breached this term. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion.
The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in the Competition, or for any technical error that may occur in the course of the administration of the Competition (including in the voting). The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
To the full extent permitted by the law, the Promoter will not be liable for any injury, damages, expenses, or losses whatsoever (whether direct or inconsequential) in relation to the competition or with respect to any matter relating thereto or arising there from.
By entering the Competition, you acknowledge that you provide the Promoter with a complete release from any liability arising in connection with the Promoter.
The Promoter respects your Personal Information (“PI”. All PI collected by the Promoter will be dealt with under the Promoters privacy policy located at [Insert web address]. Your PI is collected to enable the Promoter to administer and promote this Competition and the winner.
