WIN a $3,000 Adelaide Getaway Terms and Conditions
Game of Skill Competition, April, 2014
1. The Promoter is Wotif.com Pty Ltd ABN 81 092 257 504, 7 Baroona Road, Milton Qld 4064 (Promoter).
2. Information regarding the prize and how to enter form part of these terms and conditions. Entry into the promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
3. Entry to the promotion is free (excluding internet charges) and is only open to Australian residents who are 18 years or over. Directors, officers, management and employees (and their immediate families) of Promoter and their related entities are ineligible to enter.
4. The promotion commences at 11am (AEST) on Monday April 28th 2014 and closes at 9am (AEST) on Monday 12th May 2014 (Promotion Period).
5. There is a limit of 25 entries per entrant. Should more than 25 entries be submitted only the first 25 entries will be considered for the promotion, with additional entries deleted. Automated entry software or spamming that allows an entrant to enter multiple times is prohibited and all entries submitted by that entrant will be deemed invalid.
6. To enter the promotion, during the Promotion Period participants must:
• ‘Like’ the Wotif Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/wotif) OR ‘Follow’ Wotif on Twitter (https://twitter.com/Wotif); and
• Visit http://social.wotif.com/competition/685/win-a-trip-for-2-to-adelaide and provide their name, country, state, email address and contact phone number; and
• Answer the question: ‘Tell us in 25 words or less why you’re curious about Adelaide and want to win a getaway there?’; and
• Sign up to receive the Wotif.com newsletter.
7. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in the winner selection process. All eligible entries received will be judged on how creative and original their answer is. The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence.
8. The one (1) eligible entrant whose answer is judged the most creative and original by the judges will be deemed the winner.
9. A panel of judges will be appointed by the Promoter. This judging will take place at 7 Baroona Road, Milton, QLD 4064 at 12pm (AEST) on Monday 12th May, 2014.
10. The winner will receive the following (Prize):
• Return economy flights for two adults to Adelaide from the winner’s nearest Australian capital city
• 4 days car hire (excluding car insurance costs)
• 2 nights’ twin-share accommodation at Majestic Rooftop Gardens for two adults
• Adelaide Top Food and Wine choco-latte tour for two adults
• Adelaide Central Market Morning Tour for two adults
• Penfolds Magill Estate tour for two adults
• 1 night twin-share accommodation at Mt Lofty House including a 5 course degustation menu with matching wines and buffet breakfast for two adults
11. The maximum total value of the prize is AU$3000.
12. The car hire, accommodation, tours and all other activities that form part of the Prize are subject to change and availability. If an element of the Prize is unavailable before or after the booking, the Promotor has the discretion to offer a substitute by notifying the winner.
13. The Winner will be notified via phone and email on the day of the promotion judging. The winner’s name will also be published at www.wotif.com for a period of three months.
14. The winner or the winner’s travel companion must hold a valid Australian driver’s licence to redeem the car hire included as part of the Prize.
15. If the winner is unable to be contacted after one month from the closing date of the promotion the relevant winner’s entry will be deemed invalid and an unclaimed prize judging will take place at 12pm (AEST) on Thursday June 12, 2014. The answer judged the second most creative and original will be the unclaimed prize winner. The unclaimed prize winner will be notified via phone and email within two days and their details will be published at www.wotif.com for a period of three months.
16. The prize will need to be booked and traveled between Tuesday 1 July and Tuesday 30 September 2014. The winner must give at least 21 days notice of proposed commencement of travel.
17. The prize is subject to availability at the time of booking and, if any component of the prize is unavailable on the dates proposed by the winner, the Promoter will consult with the winner to determine alternative dates on which the prize will be booked. Blackout periods apply, the Prize is not valid on Public Holidays or during South Australian and Adelaide special event periods and is also subject to availability.
18. To redeem their prize, the winner must liaise with the Wotif.com marketing team (marketing_team@wotif.com).
