THE JOY OF COFFEE COMPETITION
Monday 4 August 2014 – Sunday 31 August 2014
The “Joy of Coffee” competition (Competition) will be launched across Sydney International Airport Terminal (T1) and Sydney Domestic Airport Terminal (T2) between 23.59 AEDST 03/08/14 and 23.59 AEDST 31/08/14 (Promotion Period).
The Promoter is seeking creative, relevant and original images which best capture the“Joy of Coffee” experience. Eligible Entrants are invited to submit their submissions within the Promotion Period in accordance with the following Terms and Conditions.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY 1. DEFINITIONS
Eligible Entrants means:
(a) a person who is a permanent Australian resident or an Australian Citizen, and
(b) does not include:
(i) any employee or contractor (or their immediate family members) of the Sydney Airport, or
(ii) an employee or contractor (or their immediate family members) of a Sydney Airport Retailer (serving food and beverage including coffee);
Entrants mean any Eligible Entrant participating in the Competition.
Intellectual Property Rights means all present and future rights throughout the work conferred by law or in relation to copyright, trademarks, designs, patents, plant varieties, business and domain names, inventions and other results in the industrial, commercial, literary or artistic fields, whether or not registrable, registered or patentable, including all rights in all applications to register these rights, all renewals and extensions of these rights and all rights in the nature of these rights, including Moral Rights.
IT Failure means any failure, disruption or interruption in Sydney Airport‟s information technology system which may be caused by a computer virus, bug, tampering, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupts or affects the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion
Promoter means Sydney Airport Corporation Limited (ACN 082 578 809) of Central Terrace Building, 10 Arrivals Court, Sydney International Airport NSW 2020. Telephone: 02 9667 9111.
Prize Suppliers means Flight Centre, Nespresso and Visa (as the context may indicate). Sydney Airport Retailer means any one of the retail outlets or shops operating at Sydney Airport
including a food and beverage retailer at Sydney Airport.
Terms and Conditions means these “terms and conditions” together with any information, schedule or annexure attached to these Terms and Conditions.
Winner of the Major Prize means the winner selected by the judges in accordance with clause 2 of the Terms and Conditions of Entry.
Winner of the Public Voting Prize means the winner selected by the public with the most public vote or by Sydney Airport‟s judge (as may be required) in accordance with clause 3 of the Terms and Conditions of Entry.
2. HOW TO ENTER
To enter the competition:
(a) Go to your own Facebook page and „Like” the Sydney Airport Official Facebook page.
(b) Entrants must post a picture of their coffee experience on Facebook through the Competition App or via Instagram by using the #joyofcoffee hashtag. Entrants will only be able to post 1 photo per day.
(c) Entrants will be prompted to complete an online entry form which can be found within the Competition App at https://www.facebook.com/SydneyAirportOfficial to be in the running for the Major Prize and Public Voting Prize.
(d) To increase their chances of winning, Entrants can post one photo every day until the Promotion Period is over.
(e) All entries are required to be submitted before midnight (AEST) on 31 August 2014.
(f) Subject to the individual‟s social media settings, entries will be drawn from Instagram through to the Strutta promotional app and will be judged according to the relevant criteria for the Major Prize and Public Voting Prize.
(g) The Promoter, its agents, affiliates or representatives will not be liable for any lost, late or misdirected entries including delays in the delivery due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other reason.
(h) Entries not completed in accordance with the Terms and Conditions, and any incomplete or indecipherable entries, will be deemed invalid.
(i) At the end of the times indicated below, two successful Entrants will be selected and be in the running for the prizes listed in clause 1A.
(j) Entrants grant the Promoter permission to communicate with them by email and/or telephone in order to provide instructions as to how the winning Entrant is to claim the prize and establish his/her entitlement to it. Where the Entrant is under the age of 18 years old, the Promoter may contact the Entrant‟s legal guardian or parent (provided the name and details of the legal guardian/parent are provided by the Entrant at the time of submitting their entry).
1A. PRIZES
(a) Major Prize: a gift voucher being in the amount of $5000.00 (non-redeemable as cash and cannot be transferred or exchanged) issued by Flight Centre for a trip to Rome (Major Prize), which must be collected at a Flight Centre store by no later than close of business on Friday, 30 September 2014.
(b) Public Voting Prize: a Nespresso Pixie and Aeroccino3 Breville Electric Titan with Pixie Lingo Cup Kit (4 cups) with a value of $471.90 (incl GST) which will be mailed to the winning Entrant‟s Australian address, or, if the winner resides overseas, a VISA gift voucher in the amount of $500.00 which will be issued to their overseas address (Public Voting Prize).
2. HOW TO WIN THE MAJOR PRIZE
(a) The Winner of the Major Prize will be selected by three 3 Sydney Airport representatives (Judges). The Judges will select the winner based on the creativity, relevance and originality of the Entrant‟s entry.

The Winner of the Major Prize will be selected and notified within 3 working days following judging which is scheduled to occur on Thursday 4 September 2014.
The Winner of the Major Prize will be notified via phone or email and their name and location will be posted onto the Promoter‟s Facebook Wall. By entering into this Competition, the Winner of the Major Prize provides consent for their personal information to be utilised for this purpose.
The Judges‟ decision will final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into by the Promoter as to the reasons for their selection or any other matter, including in the event of a dispute.
The winner can collect their prize at their nearest Flight Centre store by no later than Friday, 30 September 2014 and must produce photo identification or such other means of identification as required by Flight Centre.
It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winning Entrant:
must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the Prize Supplier‟s requirements;
may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion, releasing the Promoter from and indemnifying the Promoter against any liability arising from the use of or participation in the Competition; and
acknowledges and agrees that they must when booking their flight, arrange for their flight to depart and return to Sydney Airport.
3. HOW TO WIN THE PUBLIC VOTING PRIZE
(a) The Winner of the Public Voting Prize will be determined to be the entry that receives the most votes on the Promoter‟s Facebook promotional page. Voting closes at midnight (AEST) on 31 August 2014.
(b) In the event that there are multiple entries with the same number of votes, the Promoter will determine the winning entry for the Public Voting Prize, in its absolute and sole discretion.
(c) The Promoter‟s decision in relation the Winner of the Public Voting Prize is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into by the Promoter as to the reasons for their selection or any other matter, including in the event of a dispute.
4. GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
4.1 Operative Provisions
(a) (Acceptance of Terms and Conditions)
By participating in the Competition, all Entrants are deemed to have accepted the terms
and conditions.
(b) (Eligibility)
Only submission by Eligible Entrants will be considered. Any entries submitted by non-
eligible entrants will be automatically disqualified and disregarded.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and Entrants (including an Entrant‟s identity and place of residence) and to disqualify any Entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
(c)
(Prizes)

(i) The Entrant acknowledges and agrees that the Major Prize and Public Voting Prize cannot be redeemed as cash or be transferred or exchanged and may be subject to any terms and conditions imposed by the Prize Supplier.
(ii) The Promoter will not be liable in the event that the winning Entrant does not take, or is unable to use, the prize or any portion of it for any reason.
(iii) It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winning Entrant:
A. must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the Prize Supplier‟s requirements;
B. may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion, releasing the Promoter from and indemnifying the Promoter against any liability arising from the use of or participation in the Competition;
C. is solely responsible for providing all information and details as may be required by the Prize Supplier in accepting their prize, including the production of any personal information and form of identification;
D. acknowledges that Sydney Airport is in no way liable or responsible for the Prize Supplier‟s terms and conditions and makes no warranties, guarantees or representations whatsoever in relation to either the accuracy, correctness or completeness of the information relating to the Prizes, Prize Supplier‟s terms and conditions or in respect of each of the Prize Supplier‟s individual requirements (as may be relevant).
(iv) If the prize is unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter‟s control, the Promoter, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater monetary value.
(Waiver of All Expenses, Damage or Loss)
(i) To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter disclaims all liability, loss, (including for consequential or indirect loss), expense, damages, costs, injury or Claim howsoever arising, whether in tort (including negligence), statute, equity, contract or on any other basis, which is suffered or alleged to be suffered by the Entrant, the Winner of the Major Prize, the Winner of the Public Voting Prize or any persons related or directly associated with them, arising from or in connection with:
A. participation in this Competition;
B. the use of any the Prizes awarded (or not awarded) as a result of this Competition.
(ii) The Entrant including the Winner of the Major Prize and Winner of the Public Voting Public irrevocably and forever waives and releases the Promoter from all liability, loss, expenses, damages, costs, injury or Claim howsoever arising, whether in tort (including negligence), statute, equity, contract or on any other basis, which is suffered by or alleged to be suffered by the Entrant, the Winner of the Major Prize, the Winner of the Public Voting Prize.
(iii) The Promoter, its agents, affiliates and representatives assume no responsibility for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by:
A. any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in the Competition,
B. any technical error, including any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure,
C. theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries or
D. any combination of the above that may occur in the course of the administration of the Competition
.
(iv) The Promoter, its agents, affiliates and representatives disclaims any responsibility for the prize being damaged, stolen or lost.
(e) (Redraws for any Unclaimed Prizes) If the prize is:
A. not claimed by the winning Entrant by the date(s) and time(s) required; or
B. forfeited for any reason,
the prize will be deemed unclaimed and the Promoter may, in its absolute discretion, conduct a further draw as is necessary for an unclaimed prize.
The Promoter may conduct such further draws as is necessary at 12 October 2014 in order to distribute any unclaimed prizes by that date.
(f) (Property rights)
All entries (including any Intellectual Property Rights arising therefrom) will become the property of the Promoter. The Entrant acknowledges and agrees that the Promoter reserves all rights to modify, alter, reproduce or change Entrant‟s entries in any way and for any purpose.
(g) (Marketing and promotions)
All Entrants agree and acknowledge that if they elect the „Join our Mailing List‟ option which appears within the Competition App on the Promoter‟s Facebook page, they consent to have their names, email details entered into a database by the Promoter for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes.
(h) (Rights to Suspend for whatever reason)
The Promoter reserves the rights to suspend, cancel or withdraw the Competition for any
reason includes due to any disruption, delay or interruption arising from an IT Failure.
(i) (Cancellation or Withdrawal)
The Promoter may in its absolute discretion, cancel, withdraw, alter or change the Competition or Prizes (or any part of it) for any reason.
Should this occur, the Promoter will:
(i) advise of the cancellation of the Competition by placing notice(s) at appropriate locations within the Domestic and International Terminals at Sydney Airport;
(ii) promptly destroy all entries received;
(iii) not use the personal information provided on the entry form ;and
(iv) reserve all rights to relaunch the Competition at such other times as the Promoter may determine.
(j) (Disclaimer)
The Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with
Facebook.
(k) (Change of Details )
Should an Entrant‟s details change during the Promotion Period, it is the Entrant‟s responsibility to notify the Promoter.
A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to the Promoter.
(l) (Privacy Consent)
The Entrant acknowledges and agrees:
(i) that the Prize Supplier may collect the Entrant‟s personal information in order to assist the Promoter with the conduct of the Promotion and may disclose such information to the Promoter.
(ii) the Promoter is not liable for the conduct of any Prize Supplier in their collection, use or disclosure of the Entrant‟s personal information.
(iii) the Promoter may also directly collect any Entrant‟s personal information for the purposes of conducting the Competition.
(iv) the Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised in writing beforehand:
A. use and disclose the Entrant‟s personal information for auditing purposes,
B. use and disclose images or video footage of the Entrant, for any promotional, marketing, publicity, research, advertising and profiling purposes, in any media including social media and may be contact the Entrant by any means and at any time to provide information on any products, services or promotional activities which may be of interest to the Entrant, unless the Entrant advises the Promoter in writing otherwise; and
C. collect, use and disclose personal information to any third parties including Sydney Airport Retailers, whether in Australia or overseas, for market research, publicity, marketing or promotional purposes including to assist in providing and improving its products and services
(v) The Promoter may also disclose personal information in accordance with these Terms and Conditions the Entrant is a prize winner, and as required, to Australian regulatory authorities.
(vi) The Entrant gives the Promoter and the Prize Supplier consent to disclose their personal information for these purposes as disclosed in clause 4.1(l) above.
(vii) the Entrant must notify the Promoter in writing of any issues relating to the Entrant‟s consent including request to access, update or correct the Entrant‟s personal information collected by the Promoter. By accepting any Prizes, the Winner of the Major Prize and the Winner of the Public Voting Prize, consent to the collection, use and disclosure of any personal information by the Promoter in accordance with this clause.
(viii) The Promoter is bound by the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), and by participating in the Competition, each Entrant is taken to consent to its privacy policy.
(m) (Governing Law)
These Terms and Conditions of the Competition are governed by the laws of New South Wales.
