Terms & Conditions
1. This competition (“Competition”) is conducted by Luxury Escapes Holidays, ABN 16150 650 927 , Level 1/259 Coventry Street, South Melbourne, VIC, 3205 (“Promoter”). This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.
2. Entry to the Competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”). All entry instructions and prize information published by the Promoter form part of these Terms and Conditions.
3. The Competition is only open to individuals who: (i) are residents of Australia aged 18 years or older as at the time of entry; (ii) are not directors, management or employees of the Promoter, their immediate families, their retailers, suppliers, associated companies and agencies, (“Eligible Entrant”).
4. The Competition commences at 18:00pm 25/11/2013 and closes at 11:59pm on 16/12/2013 (“the Entry Period”).
5. Except as otherwise indicated, all amounts stated in these Terms and Conditions are stated in Australian dollars and all times are AEST time.
ENTRY
6. To enter the Competition an Eligible Entrant must, during the Entry Period
(i) have joined the Luxury Escapes Holidays Facebook page by “Liking” the page either before or during the Entry Period, (ii) upload an image of themselves on holidays with their partner; and (iii) agree to the Competition Terms and Conditions supplied on the Luxury Escapes Holidays website and competition application.
7. The Promoter reserves the right to remove entries deemed inappropriate at its sole discretion. The Promoter also reserves the right to disqualify Entrants at its sole discretion for reasons that may or may not be disclosed to the disqualified Entrant.
8. One entry is permitted per person.
9. Entries must be received during the Entry Period. The Promoter takes no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, illegible or misdirected entries. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion.
10. Entrants must submit their entries manually.
PRIZES AND WINNERS
11. The Competition is a game of skill, in which chance plays no part.
12. There is one major prize and three runners up prizes to be won.
13. The major prize is an Eight day luxury escape to the JW Marriott Resort Khao Lak, Thailand, provided by Luxury Escapes Holidays. The major prize includes:
· Accommodation nominated by Luxury Escapes Holidays at the JW Marriott Resort Khao Lak in Thailand for eight nights. (Prize). The major prize involves the winner and their travelling companion. Luxury Escapes Holidays will not be provided transport to Thailand.
14. The winner is responsible for all running costs and extras, including but not limited to any flights and other costs incidental to accepting the major prize. The major prize does not include food or drinks upon arrival at the JW Marriott Resort Khao Lak, Thailand but does include buffet breakfasts for up to two adults daily.
15. To claim the major prize the winner and their companion must be over the age of 18 years with an eligible Australian passport.
16. The major prize must be used by 01 November 2014.
17. The runner up prize (of which there are three)is a two night luxury escape at the Madison Spa Resort in Moama, New South Wales. The winner is responsible for costs involved in travelling to andfrom the hotel, and all other costs incidental to accepting the major prize. The major prize does not include food or drinks upon arrival at the resort.
18. Prizes are not redeemable for cash and are not transferable or exchangeable.
19. The runners up prizes are valid until 30 May 2014.
20. Eligible entries to the Competition will be judged by three members of the Marketing and Public Relations teams of the Promoter on 22 December 2013. Each entry will be individually judged based on the literary and creative merit of the answer provided to the question; “Where would you most like to go on a luxury escape?” Entries must be original works created by the Eligible Entrant. Entries must not be unlawful, offensive, defamatory, racist or otherwise inappropriate. Any entry which the judges deem inappropriate will be invalid.
21. The Entrant of the best valid entry as determined by the judges will win the major prize. The Entrants of the next three best valid entries as determined by the judges will each win the runner up prize.
22. The Promoter will notify the winners via the email address and phone number provided with their entry within 3 business days of the selection of the winners. There will be no other publication of the results of the Competition.
23. If a winner cannot be contacted, is found ineligible, or does not follow the Promoter’s instructions to claim the Prize within 14 business days of notification, the Promoter will deem the prize as unclaimed (and forfeited) and the entry judged as the next best will be the winner of the prize. That process will be repeated once if required.
24. Before the Prize is awarded, the Promoter may require the Winner to sign a release of liability form (provided by the Promoter) in favour of all parties involved in this Competition.
