HOW TO ENTER
To enter, consumers must, from 09:00am AEST on 14/04/14 through to 11.59pm AEST on 22/06/14, either:
a) Visit http://www.imax.com.au and click the “WIN an IMAX Season Pass” link, fill in their personal details, confirm that they live in NSW, confirm MYMAX subscription Opt-in status as checked, share with the 1 x friend they would take with them if they won the Major Prize and submit the fully completed online entry form by 11:59pm AEST on 22/06/14; or
b) Visit http://www.facebook.com/imaxsydney, locate the “WIN an IMAX Season Pass” Application tab (“Application”), allow the Application to connect to their Facebook profile, navigate to the entry page and in accordance with any instructions, fill in their personal details, confirm MYMAX subscription Opt-in status as checked, share with the 1 x friend they would take with them if they won the Major Prize and submit the fully completed online entry form by 11:59pm AEST on 22/06/14. For clarity, entry and continued participation in the promotion via the Application is dependent on individuals following and acting in accordance with the Facebook Statement of Rights and Responsibilities, which can be viewed at www.facebook.com/terms.php.
Once an individual submits an entry in accordance with the above, they will also be eligible to receive bonus entries. To receive a bonus entry, individuals must follow the prompts in the promotional email they receive from the Promoter (containing link(s) to promotional multiple-choice questions) and correctly answer the featured question(s) during the promotional period. One (1) question will be released for each week of the promotional period. If an entrant submits their initial entry in the first week of the promotion they will be sent an email with a different question each week, and if an entrant enters in the weeks two (2) to ten (10) of the promotion, they will receive links to all previous question(s) in their first email and will receive an email with a new question each week thereafter.
ALL Entries are deemed accepted at the time of receipt into the Promoter’s database and not at the time of sending by the individual.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Entry is only open to New South Wales (NSW) residents. Entrants under 18 years old must have parental/guardian approval to enter and further, the parent/guardian of the entrant must read and consent to these Terms and Conditions. Parents/guardians may be required by the Promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to the minor entering this promotion. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its right’s at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
Incomplete, or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
Only one (1) initial entry per person is permitted for the length of the promotion period. A maximum of ten (10) bonus entries per person can be obtained as a result of correctly answering ten (10) multiple choice questions released during the length of the promotion. For the avoidance of doubt, entrants will be able to access and answer all bonus entry questions regardless of when they first enter the promotion i.e. entrants that enter in the first week of the promotion will be emailed one (1) question each week, over ten (10) weeks in total. Entrants that enter from weeks two (2) through to ten (10) will be emailed with the relevant week’s question with link inclusions in the email to all previous questions to ensure all bonus entries points can be obtained without discrimination of what date or time the entrant entered the promotion within the promotion period.
Promotion commences at 9am AEST on 14/04/2014 and closes at 11.59pm AEST on 22/06/2014 (“promotional period”).
There will be one (1) major prize draw conducted for each week of the promotional period (“Major Draws”). Entries into the Major Draws will close at 11.59pm AEST each Sunday of the promotional period. Each Major Draw draw will take place at 30thirty, Level 2, 50 Yeo Street, Neutral Bay, NSW, 2089 at 10:00am AEST on the first business day after entries close for the relevant Major Draw, with the first Major Draw taking place on 22/04/2014 and the last Major Draw taking place on 23/06/2014. Non-winning entries in each Major Draw will be rolled over into any subsequent Major Draw(s).
There will be one (1) minor prize draw for each day, for a total of 70 draws (“Daily Draws”), during the promotional period. Each Daily Draw will take place the first business day after entries for that Daily Draw close. For the avoidance of doubt, Daily Draws will be conducted on weekdays only (i.e. Monday to Friday), with Draws for Friday, Saturday and Sunday taking place on the first business day (i.e. Monday) after entries close for each day. Entries into each daily draw will close at 11.59pm each day of the promotional period. Each Daily Draw will take place at 30thirty, Level 2, 50 Yeo Street, Neutral Bay, NSW 2089 at 10:00am AEST, with the first Daily Draw taking place on 15/04/2014 and the last Daily Draw taking place on 23/06/2014. For the removal of doubt, no draws will be conducted during the weekend or on a public holiday in Sydney. Non-winning entries in each Daily Draw will be entered into any subsequent Daily Draw(s).
Winners will be notified in writing within two (2) business days of the relevant draw. Major Draw winners will also be published at promotions.imax.com.au from 25/06/2014.
There will be two (2) major prize winners drawn in each Major Draw. The first two (2) valid entries drawn in each Major Draw will each win an IMAX Sydney “Season Pass” i.e. twenty (20) IMAX Sydney Gold VIP Pass tickets valid for twelve (12) months from date of issue, twenty (20) IMAX Sydney Candy Bar Combo vouchers valid for twelve (12) months from date of issue (includes one (1) large soft drink, one (1) large popcorn, and one confectionery item). Winners are allowed to choose any IMAX Sydney film session time that has been publicly advertised during the scheduled release season for each film (the release season is defined as the first day of public exhibition of each film until such time as the IMAX Theatre Sydney makes a business decision to no longer program public sessions for that film). Seats for any chosen film session are subject to availability. Each prize is valued at $1,220 AUD. Winners must find and pay for their own transport and accommodation needs in order to attend films released at the IMAX Theatre Sydney within the set twelve (12) month period.
Major Draw winners will be notified upon receipt of their season pass the exact start and finish dates of the valid twelve (12) month period.
There will be one (1) minor prize winner drawn in each Daily Draw (70 prize winners in total for the entire promotion). The first one (1) valid entry drawn in each Daily Draw will each win one (1) IMAX Sydney Candy Bar Combo Voucher i.e. one (1) regular soft drink, one (1) regular popcorn and one (1) confectionery item valued at up to $16.50 AUD per person.
Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming any voucher/ticket are not included. Any unused balance of the voucher/ticket will not be awarded as cash. Redemption of the voucher/ticket is subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer including those specified on the voucher/ticket.
Total prize pool is valued at up to $25,555 AUD. Prizes, including any unused portion, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash unless otherwise stipulated.
The Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute either the Major Draw and/or Daily Draw prize(s), or a part of either prize(s), with a prize(s) to the equal value and/or specification, as appropriate, subject to approval from the relevant regulatory authorities.
Please allow up to 28 days for the delivery of prizes.
If a winner is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s nominated parent or guardian, on behalf of the prize winner.
The Promoter may conduct such further draws at the same place as the original draws as are necessary on 23/09/2014 at 3:00pm AEST in order to distribute any prizes unclaimed by that date subject however to any written directions given by a regulatory authority. Winners of the unclaimed prize draw will be notified in writing within two (2) business days of the draw. If a Major Draw prize is awarded in the unclaimed prize draw, any winner(s) of such a prize(s) will be published at promotions.imax.com.au from 25/09/2014.
Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason a winner does not redeem the prize by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize will be forfeited.
If any prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
