GROUPON AUSTRALIA EASTER COMPETITION
1. Entries shall be accepted from 14.04.2014 (AEST) to 21.04.14 23:59PM (AEST).
Entries shall be collected on 22.04.2014. Winner will be notified via the email address supplied no later than 5PM (AEST) on 22.04.2014.
ENTRY
2. Entry to the competition is open to all individuals over the age of 18 years with internet access, except employees of Groupon Australia Pty Ltd (Groupon) and their immediate families.
3. To enter, individuals must correctly complete the task as outlined in the competition instructions.
4. One winner will be chosen by Groupon. Winner will be determined by judging the creativity in completing the task. Entries must be the original, independent creation of the entrant and free from any third party claims, including copyright or trademark claims. Entries must not: (i) have been published previously; (ii) contain information that is discriminatory, defamatory, and offensive or infringes any law or regulation.
5. The entrant consents to Groupon, its related companies and the competition sponsors using comments made on the competition form, including placing such comments on its websites or third party websites. Unless expressly requested by the entrant to do so we may not acknowledge your authorship when posting comments.
6. Submission by the entry method specified above is deemed to be entry into the competition and is acceptance of, and agreement to be bound by, these terms and conditions.
INFORMATION ON PRIZES
7. The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
8. The winner will be selected based on their creativity in completing the task, by a Groupon representative –Groupon will have absolute discretion in relation to conduct of the competition, including decisions in relation to participant eligibility and determination of prize winners. Entrants to the competition will be bound by all decisions of Groupon. The decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
9. The winner will be eligible to receive the prize of Groupon Travel Cash up to $1,000.00 in value, as outlined in instructions at the time of competition entry.
10. If for any reason beyond the control of Groupon, this competition is not capable of running as planned and the administration of this competition is affected, Groupon reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
11. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid. If Groupon believes that a person is deliberately manipulating entries into this promotion, Groupon may exclude this person from the promotion.
12. Groupon is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received by Groupon on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this competition.
13. Groupon shall not be liable for any loss, damage or loss of profit (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury suffered or sustained, as a result of participating in the game and or taking of any the prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. In accepting the prize, the recipient may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by Groupon in its absolute discretion.
14. Groupon reserves the right to change the terms & conditions of the competition at any time.
