Competition Terms & Conditions
1. The Promoter is Dendy Cinemas ABN 95002033605, 34 Lennox St Newtown NSW 2042 Australia.
2. Information on how to enter this competition form part of these terms and conditions.
3. Entry is open only to Australian residents. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families and the agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
4. The competition commenced 9am August 14, 2014 and closes 10pm September 3, 2014.
5. The Social Media post must be received by 10pm September 3, 2014. The competition will be drawn by September 30, 2014.
6. The major prize consists of one Dendy Gold Card and $20 worth of money to use on Dendy Direct. The Dendy Gold Card entitles the owner of the card to entry of free films at Dendy Cinemas for the valid period. Each Gold Card will be valid 11/09/2014 to 11/09/2015 and cannot be used on NFT, festivals, special events, Dendy Premium or Dendy Lounge cinemas, Den Arts or on public holidays. 3D glasses may incur additional costs. Each major prize has a maximum value of approximately $12,744 (depending on the level of visitation) for a total prize pool value. 7. The 1st runner up prize pool consists of a double pass to Dendy Cinemas and $10 worth of money to be used on Dendy Direct with 5 prize packs to be won. Each runner up has a value of approximately $47 for a total prize pool value of approximately $235.
8. The Dendy Gold Card and double passes are valid for use at Dendy Cinemas only; locations are in Newtown, Opera Quays, Portside and Canberra.
9. Dendy Direct money will be added to a Dendy Direct account so all winners must sign up to Dendy Direct and create a valid account in order to receive the vouchers to spend on movies and TV shows to rent and own.
10. The Dendy Direct money may be used for Dendy Direct only and cannot be exchanged, refunded or used elsewhere.
11. All vouchers and prizing are non-transferrable, refundable or exchangeable and should be treated as cash, if lost/stolen they cannot be replaced.
12. Prize winners will be notified via social media. Additional information may be required in order to facilitate prize fulfilment.
13. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged based on originality, literacy and creative merits. The judgers’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
14. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for an error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of the competition. The Promoter is not responsible for any technical malfunction that would prohibit entry.
15. Dendy Cinemas will not allow any third part access information of any participant.
