Email todaycompetitions@nine.com.au and answer the following question in 25 words or fewer why you want to visit Peru. Entrants must also supply their full name, address and daytime contact number.
Open to Australian residents who are 18 years and over.
Competition closes 07/02/14 at 16:00 AEDST. Competition judged on 10/02/13 at 09:00 AEDST. Winner will be notified by email and contact provided in their entry.

The best one (1) entry as determined by the judges in accordance with the judging criteria (see clause 11) will be deemed the prize winner and will receive a trip to Canberra and a trip to Peru to include:

15) Canberra trip must be redeemed before 20 April 2014 and the Scenic Tours prize is limited to availability on set departures between August 2014 and August 2015. Blackout period may apply.
16) Qantas flights are return Economy flights from the winners capital city. Flights are not eligible for Qantas Frequent Flyer points.
17) Prize does not include visas, travel insurance, items of a personal nature, meals (other than featured in the itinerary), laundry, telephone calls, additional nights or upgrades etc.
18) All accommodation, flight and tour bookings are conditional on availability. The prize supplier reserves the right to change the accommodation and/or flight providers should there be no availability.
19) Prize values are based upon the recommended retail prices at the time of printing (inclusive of GST) but may be subject to change between the time of entry and the date of redemption of the prize..
20) Scenic Tours prize is subject to availability at time of booking and can only be taken on dates already scheduled for this tour.
21) Taking the prize is subject to any prevailing standard terms and conditions of Scenic Tours. See Scenic Tours brochure for full details.
22) Scenic Tours trip is not eligible towards Scenic Tours Loyalty Program, Scenic Club.
23) Transport to and from departure point including but not limited to additional domestic airfares if required, any additional meals, any extra sightseeing or activities, any additional accommodation, personal spending money, and all other ancillary costs, as well as obtaining any of these, are the responsibility of the winner and their travel companions. Prize also excludes medical expenses, items of a personal nature, beverages, optional tours not outlined, laundry, telephone calls, additional nights, room upgrades or other ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prize other than those specified. These costs and expenses are the responsibility of the winner. Any extension to the duration of the prize is at the winner’s sole expense and subject to availability at the time of booking. For the removal of
doubt, taxes for domestic travel are included in the prize winning domestic airfares provided by the Promoter.
24) Redemption of prizes is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers. Prizes do not include any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prize.
25) It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner (and any traveling companions) must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and prize supplier’s requirements. The winner and their companion must both be aged 18 years and over.
26) A valid passport is required for all international journeys. All passports must be valid for six (6) months prior to departure. It the responsibility of the winner and their travel companions to ensure they have all required travel documentation (including but not limited to passports & visas) as required for travel to the destination point. All costs associated with obtaining this travel documentation is the responsibility of the winner.
27) All prize items are valued inclusive of GST and the Promoter takes no responsibility for any variations in item values. The components of the Prize may alter for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control. The Prize is not, nor any component thereof, transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. No components of the Prize can be exchanged for other travel or accommodation at other destinations. In the event that any prize item is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize item of equal or greater value. Any taxes (other than GST, if any) which may be payable as a consequence of a winner receiving the prize are the sole responsibility of the Winner.
28) The two (2) flights for each trip must be utilized at the same time, for the same travel dates, to and from the same destination. The air tickets are available on regular scheduled services of each airline. Flight itinerary may have to be adjusted depending on the airlines departure city and their current flight schedule. All travel is subject to availability at all times. Winners and their prize companions are responsible for any amendment fees issued by airlines or suppliers once booking is confirmed and ticketed. Travel suppliers/airlines to be chosen at Promoter’s discretion. Frequent flyer points are not available from any airline.
29) It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be requested to present their credit card upon arrival at any hotel to cover all incidentals they may incur including their stay at that hotel.
30) Prize must be taken as offered. The prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed as cash. The prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other special offer. The prize is valued in Australian dollars. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value. Prize winner is advised that tax implications may arise from their prize winnings and they should seek independent financial advice prior to acceptance of their prize. In the event that a portion of the prize is awarded to the winner in the form of a voucher / ticket / pass/ letter, redemption of that portion of the prize will be subject to the terms and conditions stipulated on the voucher / ticket / pass/ letter. The Promoter will not be liable for any voucher / ticket / pass/ letter that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way.
31) If winner is unable to fulfill prize during time period, winner forfeits the prize package with no compensation or further liability of the promoter. Cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize.
32) If the prize or portion of the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to State Regulation.
