WIN a double pass to see the Royal Ballet at Palace Cinemas

It’s time for the next instalment in the 2013/2014 Palace Opera and Ballet season. This summer Palace Cinemas will be screening the Royal Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker, as well as Giselle.

Sir Peter Wright’s classic production of The Nutcracker will be showing at Palace Cinemas, 31 Jan and 1, 2 and 5 February. First presented at Covent Garden in 1984, a sense of magic and wonder pervades this production. This film captured a live performance at Covent Garden which took place December 12, 2013.

Wright’s Giselle will air February 14, 15, 16 and 19. Starring Carlos Acosta and Natalia Osipova, this tale of human passions and supernatural forces is one of the most enchanting ballets of all time, examining the transcendent power of self-sacrificing love. Giselle will be filmed at a performance which will take place at Covent Garden, January 27, 2014.
