Community Newspaper Group is offering one lucky reader a once in a lifetime experience that comes with two economy flight tickets to the game of the year. This is your chance to WIN the opportunity to attend your choice of event held in Australia including the AFL Grand Final, Melbourne Cup or Australian Open.
Simply find the footballs hidden within the advertisements of your local Community newspaper and write the business names on the form to the right with your name, address and phone number.
*Only one entry per week and per paper will be accepted. Multiple entries in the same week from the same paper will be deemed invalid.
1. Instructions on how to enter form part of these terms and conditions. If there is any conflict between these terms and conditions and any other published material, these terms and conditions are to prevail.
2. The promoter is Community Newspaper Group Ltd (ABN 13 009 128 081) of 34 Stirling St, Perth Western Australia 6000 (“CNG”) telephone 9237 1000.
3. Participants in the competition will be deemed to abide by these conditions of entry.
4. Participants agree to make themselves available for publicity purposes.
5. The promoter may appoint judges and the judges’ decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
6. Participation is open to residents of Western Australia who fulfil the participation requirements.
7. The competition period runs from 08 April 2014 until 07 May 2014.
8. To enter, participants must look through their Community Newspaper Group newspaper (published between 08 April 2014 – 02 May 2014), find the advertisements that contain the ‘Football’ symbol then enter via one of the two methods outlined below:
• Log on to inmycommunity.com.au, follow the links to enter the competition and complete the online entry form. Participants must be a registered member of inmycommunity.com.au to enter via this method.
• Complete the entry coupon found in Community Newspaper Group newspapers (published between 08 April 2014 – 02 May 2014), and post to GPO Box 2980, Perth 6800.
9. Participants can only enter once per paper per week. Participants can enter more than once in one week if their entries are from different Community Newspaper Group newspapers and the coupons are completed with the business names that are part of the promotion in the coupon’s newspaper. Photocopied coupons will not be accepted. Duplicate online entries will be deemed invalid.
10. Entries close 4pm Wednesday 07 May 2014.
11. The winner of the competition will be selected by random choice on Thursday, 08 May 2014 at Community Newspaper Group, Perth.
12. The prize is a Travel and Sports Australia [Suite 6, 281 Hay Street SUBIACO WA 6008, ABN 59 107 423 898] voucher (valued at $5850) valid for domestic flights and events only. The prize (or any part thereof) cannot be sold, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken for cash. No responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of the prize. Travel must be booked by April 2015. Flights are subject to availability. Community Newspaper Group is not responsible in any way, shape or form for events being booked out or flights being unavailable.
13. Directors and employees of Community Newspaper Group Ltd including their immediate families, its agencies and companies associated with the competition are ineligible to enter.
14. The promoter and the judges will not be liable for any losses or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained, in connection with the Promotion, the use of the prize or any act or omission (whether negligent or not) of the promoter, the judges or their respective agents, employees and contractors.
15. If for any reason whatsoever the Competition Prize winner fails to respond within three months to the E-‐mail/Phone/post notification of his/her winning, such winning entrant shall be deemed to have forfeited his/ her claim to the prize and Community Newspaper Group shall not have any obligation whatsoever to compensate the winning entrant in any way.
16. A) By entering the competition, you consent to the collection of your details and acknowledge that Community Newspaper Group may, at its discretion, disclose and use these details for the purpose of providing you with goods and services, communicating with you, planning, research, product and business development and sales, promotional or editorial purposes. The details will also be used to investigate complaints, as required or permitted by law, to enable Community Newspaper Group to perform its obligations to you under this or any other agreement and to ensure that you perform your obligations under this or any agreement.
