Terms and Conditions

1. Instructions on how to enter, prize details and other information contained within the promotional advertisements form part of these terms and conditions. By participating, in this promotion entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

2. Only messages placed in the Book of Endless Love before 4pm Friday 7 February 2014 are eligible for the Early Bird prize. Entrants must provide an email address.

3. Valid entries consist of messages placed in The Book of Love via the following mechanisms:
• Online: via www.thebookofendlesslove.com.au
• Telephone: 13 22 80
• Email: messages@thebookofendlesslove.com.au or classifiedadvertising@thewest.com.au

4. Subject to clause 13, entry is open to all residents of Western Australia over the age of 18. Winners under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a Parent or Guardian when claiming and collecting their prize. Photo identification may be required upon collection of the prize.

5. The prize winners will be drawn at 10am on Monday 10 February 2014.

6. The first 175 valid entries drawn at random will be deemed winners and will receive the following prize. Total Prize Package value is approximately $15,000.

– One double pass to the first night screening of Endless Love on Friday 14 February 2013 at Innaloo Event Cinemas at 6.30pm.

7. All additional costs incurred will be at the expense of the winner.

8. The winner will be notified by email after the prize draw and sent an e-ticket to redeem their prize.

9. It will be the winner’s responsibility to redeem the prize from the promoter. No cartage expenses are included in the prize.

10. The prize/s must be taken as supplied and is/are neither redeemable for cash nor transferable. No responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of the prize.

11. It is the winner’s responsibility to make their own way to Innaloo Event Cinema to claim/redeem their prize.
12. It is a condition of entry that all prize winners agree to have their name and suburb published for publicity purposes if required. By participating in this competition, participants signify their acceptance of all conditions and the requirement to participate in promotional activity if required.
13. In participating in the competition, entrants agree to participate and co-operate as required in all editorial activities relating to the competition, including but not limited to being interviewed and photographed. The winner agrees to grant the Promoter a perpetual and exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs, as well as their actual entries (whether on DVD or photograph) in all media worldwide and the winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use. The winner agrees they will not, and will ensure that their companions do not, sell or otherwise provide their story and/or photographs to any media or other organisation.
14. Employees of, The West Australian and Universal Pictures, their associated agencies and immediate families, are ineligible to enter.

15. All contestants release from, and indemnify The West Australian and Universal Pictures against, all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of acceptance of any prize(s) or participation in the competition including (but not limited to) loss of income, personal injury and damage to property and whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise.
16. The West Australian and Universal Pictures and associated agencies accept no responsibility for any loss, damage, accident, death or injury resulting from the promotion.

17. Entry into this competition signifies acceptance of all conditions. The Promoters’ decision will be final and cannot be contested. No correspondence will be entered into. The Promoters reserve the right to limit entry or amend rules if considered necessary without notice.

18. 17.1 The entrant consents to the use by West Australian Newspapers Limited Group and its related corporations (as defined by the Corporations Act 2001) of the entrants’ details and acknowledges that West Australian Newspapers Limited Group and its related corporations, may, at its discretion disclose and use those details for the purpose of providing you with goods or services, communicating with you, planning, research, product and business development and sales, the promotion and marketing (whether target, direct or indirect) of their businesses, services or products or those of a third party which we believe may be of benefit to you. The details will also be used to investigate complaints, as required or permitted by any law, to enable West Australian Newspapers Limited Group to perform its obligations to you under this or any other agreement and to ensure that you perform your obligations under this or any other agreement.
