Instructions on ‘how to enter’ and prizes form part of Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18 and over. Employees of the Promoter, and their immediate families and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.

Promotion commences 00:01 (AEST) on April 14, 2014 and closes at 11:59 (AEST) on May 15, 2014 (The Promotional Period). The draws will take place at Bauer Media Pty Limited at 54-58 Park Street, Sydney, 2000, NSW on the May 17, 2014 at 10am (AEST). Winners will be notified by telephone and in writing using the contact details provided in their entry.

To be eligible to enter, individuals must, during the Promotional Period, purchase a copy of a participating title and either a) go to www.win4mum.com.au and complete and submit the entry form as instructed or b) Complete the entry-form located in-store and post to PO BOX 469, Eastern Suburbs MC, NSW, 2004. Entrants must include their full name, address, contact number, email address, date of birth and in 25 words or less “What would you call your perfume and why?” on the entry form and submit via one of the mechanisms outlined above.

Only one (1) entry per person permitted

The judging will take place at the Promoter’s premises beginning on May 17, 2014. The judging will be done by a panel of judges appointed by the Promoter. The winner will be notified by telephone and in writing using the contact details provided in their entry. The judges may select additional reserve entries which they determine to be the next best, and record them in order of merit, in case of an invalid entry or ineligible entrant.

This is a game of skill, chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged based on its literary and creative merit of the answer to the question provided. The judges’ decision in relation to any aspect of the competition will be final and binding on every person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into.

The Entrant warrants to the Promoter that the entry submitted is an original artistic work of the Entrant that does not infringe the rights of any third parties. If the entry or any part of the information provided to the Entrant in relation to the entry was provided by a third party, the Entrant warrants that they have obtained the relevant copyright permission to submit the entry for the purposes of this promotion. The entrant agrees to indemnify the promoter against all claims and costs by third parties arising from a breach of the warranty set out in this condition.

The Promoter is entitled to use any of the entries submitted in any manner and for any purpose at its absolute discretion, including using the entries for future promoter’s or their agents book publications, promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment or other compensation to the entrant. The promoter is entitled to amend, edit, select, crop, retouch, add to or delete from any part of the submitted entry.

Entries must not be offensive, defamatory or racist. Any entry which the judges deem inappropriate will be invalid. The entrant agrees to indemnify the Promoter.

The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

The best (1) entry, as determined by the judges, will be deemed the major prize winner and will win the following prize valued at AU$14,350.00. Prize includes:

Return economy flights for two (2) adults to Paris from Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Melbourne only valued at up to AU$6,800.00 (depending on point of departure)
Six (6) nights standard twin share room accommodation at a 4 star hotel in Paris valued at up to AU$2,800.00
Airport transfers up to the value of AU$650.00
One (1) x exclusive perfume creation with a Parisian Perfumer valued at up to AU$3,000.00
One (1) x Viator Tours sight-seeing tour in Paris for two (2) adults valued at up to AU$700.00
Travel insurance valued at up to AU$400.00

If the winner drawn resides in a state not inclusive of the departure airport, domestic flights will be included to transport the winner and their guest to their nearest capital city. Return domestic flights will be provided for two (2) adults from Darwin or Launceston to their nearest departure city, should the winner reside in the Northern Territory or Tasmania. The total value of domestic return flights for two (2) adults is valued up to $1,000.00.

An additional twenty (20) entries, as determined by the judges, will be deemed runners-up winners and will receive:

Total prize pool value is up to AU$19,130.00. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable, exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.

The major prize must be redeemed in full and as a package within 12 months excluding national holidays. Blackout periods may apply. Blackout periods include Australian national school holidays and the Christmas / New Year period. Prize is subject to availability at the time of booking.

Specific travel dates and arrangements are subject to air travel, holiday, blackout dates, and other prize and travel restrictions. Trip must be taken within one year, excluding national holidays. Reservations are subject to availability. Trip must be booked at least sixty (60) days prior to intended departure date. Travel dates are subject to Performance Entertainment Ltd approval.

The winner (and their companion) are responsible for all other expenses including spending money, meals (unless specified), drinks, transfers (unless specified), laundry charges, activities (unless specified), incidentals, energy surcharges, gratuities, services charges, passports, visas, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs. Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions all other expenses (including travel to and from the departure point) become the responsibility of the winner.

A valid passport is required for all international journeys. It the responsibility of the winner and their travel companions to ensure they have all required travel documentation (including but not limited to passports & visas) as required for travel to the destination point. All costs associated with obtaining this travel documentation is the responsibility of the winner.

The two (2) flights must be utilized at the same time, for the same travel dates, to the same destination. All prize elements must be redeemed at the same time.

Once issued, tickets are non-transferable and may not be re-issued once travel has commenced.

Transport to and from Departure point including but not limited to additional Domestic airfares if required, any additional meals, any extra sightseeing or activities, any additional accommodation, personal spending money, and all other ancillary costs, as well as obtaining any of these, are the responsibility of the winner and their travel companions. Prize also excludes medical expenses, items of a personal nature, beverages, optional tours not outlined, laundry, telephone calls, additional nights, room upgrades or other ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prize other than those specified. These costs and expenses are the responsibility of the winner. Any extension to the duration of the prize is at the winner’s sole expense and subject to availability at the time of booking. For the removal of doubt, taxes for international travel are included in the prize winning international airfares provided by the Promoter.

A credit card imprint or cash deposit may be required from the Winner at check-in to the hotel, for all incidental charges.

Prize must be taken as offered. The prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not exchangeable or cannot be redeemed as cash. The prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other special offer. The prize is valued in Australian dollars. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value. Prize winner is advised that tax implications may arise from their prize winnings and they should seek independent financial advice prior to acceptance of their prize. In the event that a portion of the prize is awarded to the winner in the form of a voucher / ticket / pass/ letter, redemption of that portion of the prize will be subject to the terms and conditions stipulated on the voucher / ticket / pass/ letter. The Promoter will not be liable for any voucher / ticket / pass/ letter that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way. Redemption of prize at a venue is subject to the standard rules and regulations of that venue/s.

The two (2) flights must be utilised at the same time, for the same travel dates, to the same destination. Any unused portion of the prize is not redeemable in cash or in kind and the prize flights must be taken consecutively within one booking only. Winner and passenger must travel together.
