Thanks to our friends from Intrepid Travel we’re giving two members the chance to experience a Japanese adventure of their own. This exclusive prize, worth more than $7,000 includes:

◾ 2 spots on a 9-day ‘Japan Express’ Intrepid trip, taking in the best of the country, from the neon nightlife in Tokyo to the culture and history of Kyoto.

Terms and Conditions
‘THE PROMOTION’
Enter online at www.kathmandulivethedream.com (between Thursday, 1st May 2014 and Saturday 31st May 2014), and go into the draw to “Be in to Win” a trip to Japan.
The prize includes:
• Return economy airfares to Tokyo, Japan from your nearest international airport in Australia or New Zealand
• A trip for 2 people on Intrepid Travel Japan Express (CJRB)
The maximum total value of the prize is $8,000 AUD
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. ‘THE PROMOTION’ runs from Thursday 1st May 2014 at 12:01am until Saturday 31st May 2014 at 11:59pm.
2. The Promoters reserve the right to terminate or withdraw ‘THE PROMOTION’ at any time.
HOW TO ENTER
3. Entry into ‘THE PROMOTION’ is open to current Summit Club members only who correctly complete the entry form online at www.kathmandulivethe dream.com
4. Entry into ‘THE PROMOTION’ is available to residents of Australia and New Zealand, except employees of Kathmandu Ltd, Intrepid and their immediate families, who are not eligible to enter.
5. Entrants must be over the age of 18 to enter.
6. Entrants may only enter once.
7. The Promoter will judge the entries to determine the winning Entrant, which it considers, in its sole discretion, to be the most creative entry. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
8. The judging of the winning entry will take place at Kathmandu Ltd, 11 Mary Muller Drive, Hillsborough, Christchurch 8022, New Zealand and will be completed by Monday 16th June 2014 at 12.00pm.
9. The winner will be notified via email, following the completion of ‘THE PROMOTION’
10. In the event of an unclaimed prize, where we are unable to contact the winner, another winning entry will be chosen and this will take place at the same venue and time on Monday 22nd September 2014.
11. The new winner will be notified via email following the completion of ‘THE PROMOTION’
12. By entering the contest, entrants consent to the use of their names, city of residence, photograph and/or image for publicity purposes carried out by the Promoters, without payment or compensation.
PRIZE
13. The winning entry will win a trip for 2 people on Intrepid Travel’s 9 day Japan Express trip (CJRB).
14. The prize includes a land only package plus return economy airfares to Tokyo and Kyoto from the winner’s nearest international airport.
15. The prize is one package worth $8000 AUD and cannot be split up into different packages and must be taken at once and is not transferrable.
16. Travellers must be over the age of 18 to qualify.
17. The trip must be booked and confirmed at least 60 days prior to departure. Travel must be completed by 31st June 2015. No extension is available and black out / non travel periods apply between 1st December 2014 – 1st February 2015 and 1st – 31st April 2015
18. The trip is subject to availability and confirmation by Intrepid Travel.
19. Please note that minimum numbers must be met in order for this trip to depart, please check at time of booking.
20. Travel Insurance is required to be held by all Intrepid travellers and is not included in the prize. Passports, travel visas required, any other transport as required to and from departure point, single supplement and all other ancillary costs, as well as obtaining any of these, are the responsibility of the winner and their travel companion.
21. There is no cash value to this prize and it cannot be exchanged or transferred.

23. Travel must be arranged by the winner contacting Intrepid Travel directly on enquiries@intrepidtravel.com
24. The Promoter/s shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the prize except for any liability, which cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter will not be responsible for any incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information communicated in the course of or in connection with this promotion if the deficiency is occasioned by any cause outside the reasonable control of the Promoter including without limitation technical malfunctions or failures. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
25. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency, disaster or any other circumstance beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right to either provide an alternative travel destination to the same value as the original prize or, subject to any applicable laws or written directions made under applicable legislation, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
